There aren't many methods to make good money in F2P. You're looking at a good 20-30 hours to make money for a bond. You're better off just buying a month and use that time to snowball your wealth to fund your membership.
Especially since he can make Blood Runes since he's got a high RC level
the only real way to make money in f2p is making headless arrows. But thats going to take a while because of buy limits.
Start working on doing all the quests, or at least getting all the requirements. Questing is enjoyable, a nice break from the grind, you get some really awesome quest rewards and access to places you wouldn't be able to use otherwise. On top of getting the Quest Cape which allows you to teleport straight to the Legend's Guild, the closest teleport in the game to a fairy ring. It lays a solid foundation to build an account on. If you want to make money. Do the Knights' Sword quest, which will bring you from level 1 to 29 Smithing. Get 30 Smithing by doing whatever, this will unlock the ability to make Steel Bars. Making Steel Bars at the Blast Furnace is pretty good and consistent money, it gets even better if you hit 60 Smithing(Which won't take very long that the Blast Furnace) and get a Coal bag. It's something 300-500K GP/hr, Mithril/Adamant/Rune bars are even better money, Adamant is something around 700-800K GP/hr and Rune is 900-1.2M GP/hr. It's how I made my first 30-50M, did it from 30-83 Smithing.
I'm considering gettimg 99 farming by doing Tithe Farm during tree/herb growth cycles. I got 99 wc doing redwoods at 70k xp/hr and tithe is 110k xp/hr on top of the high xp/hr of hig level trees should make 99 farm a breeze
It's up to you, but I'm just gonna say it; it's not worth it. Just doing tree runs sprinkled with some herb runs is already incredibly fast. Especially if you do Papaya/Magic tree runs. I calculated it when I did 99 Farming, but it's something like 2-3m XP/hr on average doing tree runs. You can get 99 Farming in a month with little effort outside of timing tree runs, I'd spend that tithe farming time on other, more productive and efficient things in the game or even just more enjoyable things. Also, I haven't seen much of Tithe, but isn't it incredibly click intensive? Especially compared to something like Redwoods.
Someone once told me to keep str, atk, def at 40 tops and stop training magic and to max my ranged and I could be pretty beast at PvP. I forgot what the name for it was. Thoughts? Or should I just ignore them and treat it like a normal main?
He's talking about a Void pure using Void armour obtainable from the Pest Control minigame. It requires 42 Attack/Strength/Defense/Magic/Ranged and 22 Prayer to wield and the ranged version gives 20% Ranged damage and accuracy. It's pretty potent and deadly, though unlike Berserker pures(Which are in similair level brackets) it has little defense, making it comparable to a 1 defense pure in terms of gameplay speed, requiring significant skill to pull off well(Contrary to what a lot of people would want you to believe). Though ignore them, especially if you're new to the game and focus on making a main account. Specialized PVP accounts miss out on a lot of stuff in the game, such as quests, bosses etc.
You forgot the prerequisite 10 or so hours or grinding in the motherlode mine to actually get a coal bag.
Most people choose(or at least did, before shift dropping) to do MLM for mining, and you'll get the Coal bag way before you get 60 mining for Lunar Diplomacy.
Thanks for money making suggestions guys. Hit the buy limit of feathers instantly though so it's gonna be a slow process for working my way to a bond.
I got the 60 mining req at MLM and have less than half the nuggets for a coal bag. I'm probably going to have to get the coal bag if i want 91 smithing but I'm probably going to have to seriously force myself to sit through that again.
You can't possibly have done MLM from 30-60 and only have half the nuggets. I'm 64 and have around 350 nuggets. I had a Coal bag at around level 50 mining.
So I know most of you guys here play OS, but maybe someone can help me. Since my horrible attempt at Fate of the Gods on Legacy, I've been trying to move into EoC. I have no idea what I'm doing though. Is there any good guide that you can recommend?

But for EoC in general, I would recommend these guides: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G9eV1xPwp00&list=PL2bHEDGAEB8UKUV_paKUg7LayeeuDKHkg The main ones to focus on are the ones for the 3 attack styles and building perfect ability rotations.

Thanks for the tip though! [editline]1st April 2017[/editline]
What are you having trouble with? The Nihils or the Muspahs? Or both? I was mostly referring to the Mah screaming attack unavoidable in Legacy.

RSWiki has some good Revolution bar calculators. I've had good success with them.
on osrs this guy just said he'd give me a million coins if I traded him all my armour and my sword (i'm only level 24 so I didn't care at all), and said "why not". He then had me try to fill his empty beer mugs at the kegs in the barbarian longhouse, of course I couldn't do this so I just pretended to do so while picking up beers off the tables, and gave him those. Then he said I'd succeeded, and surprisingly gave my shit back then told me to follow him to the bank for the money and he logged out :(
I'm doing alottment and tree runs without using any teles. I only have 1 agility. Fucking kill me. [editline]5th April 2017[/editline] Canifis is such a bitch to get to fuck me.
magic trees, monkfish
looking to get back into scapin' Any up to date go to guides?
looking to get back into scapin' Any up to date go to guides?
If it's 2007scape, Autumn Elegy is usually far and away the best for guides. I've heard slayermusiq1 is great for quests, but I always prefer to go with written guides.
Do any of you guys know much about merching that can help me out? I can easily make 500k merching for a few hours, flipping things like lobster, sharks, dark bows, etc. but that's too slow. I have about 70mil osrs to work with. also this outfit is dope
Flipping and merching is just a lot of throwing shit at the wall and seeing what sticks. Common items are crap to flip because tons of other people are doing it. Sometimes you can make good money by bulk flipping with like, 1gp margins, but that's really slow. Consistent, but slow.

also this outfit is dope
There's a site called GE-Tracker.com which is a great merching/flipping tool, to keep track of prices. I've made like ~~80m with it, though I have some clan members who have made hundreds of millions with it. High volume items can be good, though you should keep track at the buying and selling habits. Certain items are ~10-20% more expensive during night than during the day, so an option in such a scenario would be buy a bunch over the course of the day and dump them at night. Also, I don't know if it still happens, but bot dumps at the end of the weekend, sunday night/monday morning used to be prime-time to make a lot of money. Weekend bots would dump a ton of Sharks/Chinchompas etc. during sunday/monday night before they'd get banned, crashing the markets to the point where you could buy these resources hundreds of GP under market price and sell them the next day for huge profit. Investing money in PvM/PK gear, a couple of months prior to a known update is also a good way to make money long-term. Such as the raid release back in january. A lot of people don't think ahead, and buy all their supplies a day or so before release, when the prices have skyrocketed.
You should watch the RuneScape Documentary.
on my quest to recover my lost accounts, I managed to get back my old alt I made in 2007. Apparently someone hijacked it and gave it some dragon armor and a lot of money; never bothering to change the password. Edit: Found out he got in at around 2008-9. It was just some kid who just begged tons. Oh well, thanks for the free shit.
Does RS3 (or even OSRS for that matter, my memory is foggy) have any (non-PVP) minigames or something like Barbarian Assault where you work closely with a few other players to achieve something? I know it sounds vague but I know bossing would be close to what I'm describing where you'd get some friends and go kill kalphite queen but I really don't have the stats for it nor the cash to stock up for a ton of trips. Basically something that makes it easy to get into a party of 3-10 players and you just go do adventure things. I've never done dungeoneering so I may be describing that skill verbatim but like I said I just don't know/remember. It'd also be a plus if there was no rush with the activity. Usually with something like what I'm describing players that have done it for a while end up just speedrunning it to get it over with like what happens with WoW's dungeons and dungeon finder. And that's fine, but I'd like to be able to chill out and go at my own pace without it being a burden on my teammates.

Though I have to admit that it gets pretty stale fast.

As for rs3 minigames are basically dead across the board outside of the spotlight ones (and even then, they're mostly dead) and even then there aren't really any that fit that bill. Dungeoneering is the closest, but if you don't really love dungeon crawling, you're gonna hate it (especially since its a skill) and randoms will always rush it, you'd have to find a group of like minded people to play with if you actually want to chill and move at your own pace. I personally love dungeoneering but I'm basically one in a million :^)
There is the minigame where you fight pests.
There is the minigame where you fight pests.
True but there's not much interaction between players. It's like Wintertodt where you show up, do your thing, and ride the wave of players to victory. It's why I used Barbarian Assault as an example because each player has their own role to fulfill that's essential to winning. I might check out Dungeoneering though. Maybe even record the gameplay of me going in completely blind in case something happens.

I've been meaning to do it since I need 75 for Priff, but I just find it boring to do alone.
