What's a TH Key? And yeah RS3 is super Pay-to-Win, that's why I'm not a big fan or it. And EoC of course.
Treasure Hunter. Legit gambling. I went from never making over 10 mil in my RS career ( just got back into it yesterday) to having over 3-4 million bonus XP and 70 million GP in my bank.
Made over 70 mil in 40 minutes off TH keys, spending only $40 on the earn keys section (stuff I actually liked and was going to purchase regardless) Homechef(19.80) 364 Swagbucks Hulu offer ($9) 172 Gamefly($9) 165 Jeez, I thought RS was against RWT?
an effective way to help stop chinese gold farmers rwt is to rwt yourself
Not really. You can buy gold cheaper from gold sellers than from Jagex. In OSRS you can get a month of membership in bonds by buying like $5 in gold.
yeah but its completely risk free from jagex which appeals to a lot of people
Not really. You can buy gold cheaper from gold sellers than from Jagex. I personally haven't paid for anything but membership, but if you got into Runescape today I can totally see the appeal in paying for a bunch of bonds to get started. There's 15 years worth of content across two games at the moment. Treasure hunter keys are just absolute bullshit tho fuck that.
Got mems for a month from the twitch promo. Gonna try to achievement diary cape.
Not really. You can buy gold cheaper from gold sellers than from Jagex. Jagex are also cracking down really hard now on sellers(and occasionally buyers) now that Bonds are in the game. Keepsake keys for say wanting to wear your fave skill cape while having the benefits of a fire cape is nice, the deviantart tier sparkle wolf crap is less than ideal though. Being unable to disable it is a deal breaker.
Even Ironman isn't entirely P2W free. I remember there was a huge outcry in the community when premium membership packages gave a ton of loyalty points to ironmen, allowing them to get really beneficial auras such as Jack of All Trades, Vampirism etc. much earlier than they would have otherwise. Creating a scenario where if you wanted to be at all competitive you had to shell out a bunch of money you wouldn't have had to otherwise. I don't know how it has been with the latest premium club packages, but I imagine the same thing still holds up.

What TH items are P2W? Most things I've unboxed so far are just these XP star thingies... Just wondering if I'm extremely unlucky :v:
I generally actually really like rs3, but the th and cash shop things really annoying me. I saw some dude with a cool armour skin and I had to go digging around D to find out how to get it and you have to get each piece from TH and then only when you have the full set can you use the skins. Fuck that, I'm not dumping hundreds of dollars on a chance to get a part of the thing I want

Best place for training combat in OSRS?
Best place for training combat in OSRS?
your slayer tasks but if that's out of the question for some weird reason, you can't go wrong with dr. fenkenstrain's dungeon full of experiments
I tried afking king sand crabs last night ... wouldn't recommend :vs:
you can't go wrong with dr. fenkenstrain's dungeon full of experiments
no no no, not good sand crabs are afkable and have more hp. pay the dude with the boat to go to the extra island, there's spots with like 3-4 crabs and u just stand there and get xp. some rs3 level shit, rates are crazy of course slayer is the obvious ideal way and if you're not already doing slayer then you're a silly billy
No mention of dharoking nmz? Best rates in game. Been grinding Zeah houses all damn day. Holy fuck what a tedious bore. Actually I kinda liked it because my left hands been hurting so it was a nice change from blast furnace.
If I read this correctly, you get 20% favor and all favor is doubled. [editline]18th April 2017[/editline] The doubling didn't pass though, so I don't feel like my time was wasted.

crashed on a drop party while I was at Falador and got some zamorak legs and an armadyl kite shield. Not bad
I once left a random group of chumps' drop party with two dragon scimitars
I got a pair of Ranger boots from B0aty back when he was doing his One Man Army series. Someone suicided to him in the wilderness with a pair, the suicide was obvious, and he chucked them in the Falador Party room. Popped my first baloon and got them. I think I might still have the screenshot on my old laptop.

I just got the Smithing pet while grinding for 80 smithing on ceremonial swords. I've wasted all my money on it though, what are some good money making methods for RS3? I don't have all my skills, but from the major money maker ones, I have 67 rc, 70 hunter, 78 slayer, 83 div, don't remember the others rn, but they're all above 67.

GWD is still a pretty alright way to make money. You could harvest radiant energy for about 1 mil profit per hour (85 div) or craft cosmics via abyss for about 3 mil profit if you get 75 rc.
Tanning blue or black dragonhides on a portable crafter nets about 3-5m an hour depending on prices, if you're quick and use someone else's portable. Portables FC makes finding portables much easier. They've got a Google Doc that you can use to see where people are deploying them. Granted, you'll want to kill yourself after the first couple thousand, but if quick cash is what you're looking for, you can't go wrong there.
