Oh my god I'm looking at screenshots and this stuff is ridiculously impressive. The RS economy is more than fucked. Whips are now 150k.

Theres too much money, not a lot we can do about it. Unless Jagex creates more money burning features.

I just can't get myself to do combat much these days, i did some combat for the first time after the NIS update during Troll Invasion today...everything just felt so clicky, like trying to shake hands with a cat tricky.

Economy is quite topsy turvy at the moment, but it is also nothing that can't be explained. Whips are so cheap because they were so common, and since they are/were used exclusively for PKing, virtually none of them were being removed from the game (people would kill other players that had whips, then would try and sell the whips right away for profit, and would be picked up by the same guy/kept, so the cycle continued), and hundreds more were being added every day. Basic laws of supply and demand. All the valuable stuff is hyper-inflated because of the absurd rate that coins are entering the game (through squeal of fortune, micro-transactions, increased drops, and so on). In fact, the inflation is so bad that items like crackers are starting to hit the 32 bit integer number cap of 2,147,483,647 for grand exchange price value. This is also compounded by the fact that most of the best stuff (ascended, etc.) is now non-tradable, so people have no need to go spending money on items and supplies and will generally just stockpile stuff. It is quite an opposite effect to oldschool RS, where the lack of the Grand Exchange means people are not as easily able to get stuff like weapons or tools unless they have connections, make/get it themselves, or are quite lucky. tl;dr coins are entering the game without leaving the game, so naturally everything becomes fucked over from inflation

they should allow the purchase of cosmetics from the store through coins, I think Jagex is aware of how Zimbabwe the economy is but they don't seem to have a clue on how to fix it. If I was a rich man, I would buy up the market and keep dumping my profits to take money out of the economy.

I think a fee for using the GE would help a bit, like a certain percentage of the price of stuff you're buying/selling

The problem is the fee would either be very small or high enough to stop people using it.

I found out yesterday that Momentum is members only. Kind of shocked me. I don't have any problem playing with abilities, but early on when you only have one basic ability, I just wanted to turn on momentum but I can't

So for some reason even when I change my password I still get sent to the "invalid email/login" page. I know my email is correct since password recovery emails are sent there. Any ideas? I'd rather not have to wait around with customer support if anyway knows the solution here.

Is there any 'efficiency' charts with hatchets and pickaxes etc? As in a chart that tells you how faster a i.e Yew tree chops with a dragon hatchet as opposed to a rune hatchet etc

Also, how do you open the emotes menu? Can't find it with this new UI and I really want to dick around with all my old holiday emotes.
