Saradomin always had the lead just because more people sided with him, which makes sense from a lore standpoint, but they didn't even give Zamorak any sort of chance after it was clearly going to stay that way for the whole 10 weeks

Personally, i would've thought Zammy was going to make a comeback, mostly from people trying to farm both sets of rewards...but apparantly charged resource spots doesn't count towards your daily total.. I appreciate RS's lore, but the way the dialogue is written is absolutely terrible. So much of it relies on stupid pop culture references. (That entire quest about bacon for instance, fucking terrible.)

What if he called [sp]us a False User[/sp] in the attempt to make the gods think that he became a god? when in reality [sp]the dragonkin still remembered us from touching the stone during WGS and ROTM?[/sp] it sidesteps the issue of if he actually became a god or not.

That dwarf quest is absurdly hard. I lure grimmson out of the throne room, close the door, and then kill him fairly easily, going down the stairs whenever he is about to use his special. The other guy though is where I'm stumped. I've tried using all three combat styles, along with using a dwarf cannon and luring the chaos dwarves out whenever they spawn, but I lose too much health too fast to knock off more than 15-20k off his hitpoints

I need to do some quests in oldschool for the Barrows Gloves but I dont know which, what are some easy quests to do till I have enough points to complete Recipe for Distaster? Im not sure what to say about the rebuildathon update, apparently the building's got completed in one hours or something... Oh man. I haven't played since divination came out as my sub ended, and now I see these bonds? This is probably going to get me back into RS as this is the exact reason I've been playing EVE the past 3 months... Getting the 500k/day or whatever is needed would be EXTREMELY easy. What else is new since divination? I haven't been following along at all.

Runefest 2013. • Zaros quest, may involve looking for a host body, whilst we venture into Frenneskae, we also learn about him and the elder gods, his choice of body may depend on our actions. • Prifddinas/Elf Quest confirmed to be 200th quest, we're supposedly 15 quests away. Seren will get her own world event where people rebuild her or something, the city is mentioned to supposedly be a high leveled varrock with similarly leveled skilling activities. • Bandos and Arma will appear in the next world event, one of them will die. • Marimbo and Brassica Prime may be the gods in the 3rd world event, originally it was going to be a battle, but it felt out of character. • Next Skill in 2014 will be Inventor, you supposedly fuse armor/weapons or something to create stronger ones, eventually also tools. high leveled stuff is supposedly Soul weapons. • Player Owned Ports will gain level 85 Rings, Capes, Weapons and possibly other rewards. they didn't mention if we'd be gaining new Skill Adventurer's, there are 12 new crew members though they might simply be stronger types. also more ship parts and 2 new resources and 2 new craft materials. • Church of You. maybe people think you're the RS Equivalent of Jesus? or maybe it's Runescape's version of Guild War's Eye of the North Monument. maybe as a bonus for players who complete older quest content? • Giant Mole will get a revamp, though details of what would get revamped is unknown. 2nd hand info • Agility might possibly be used to speed up skilling in someway, or they may be thinking of scrapping run energy...sorta doubt, only heard this from other people, and i didn't watch Runefest the entire time. • Mining, Necronium from corpses from 3rd age skeletons? • Construction houses may appear in the over world, or possibly you could make houses for NPCs and sell it to them, apparently there may be 20 spots to build, possibly with friends. Bandos for dead god 2013 :v: anyway looking forward to the new content. I really wish weapon poison didn't go out the window though :(

Personally i would've thought Arma would die to be honest, i mean think about it. Saradomin was always popular because he was the "Big Good", even to FTP players. whereas although Bandos is a militaristic Darwinist warlord, he's more fleshed out and is more prominent in early storylines including the Dorgeshuun series. But Arma on the other hand has only gotten a quest announced for him, he hasn't been that prominent even in comparison to other more popular gods such as Seren and Zaros, he lost his staff and ran off crying once his followers supposedly died out and that's it. Plus people favored melee before EoC, plus Bandos was pretty much the de facto armor at the time. even now people just wear Barrows or something instead of Arma....he seems less popular than Bandos, but it possibly more vital to quest-based content....good luck trying to make Arma look great in one quest when Bandos got content over the years that expanded him as a god despite not improving personality at all.

So any facepunchers want to give an old player the noob treatment? I haven't played in years and have decided to start playing again. I even got a membership (it's been my dream since 6th grade) I'm so lost!

Why do all my favorite gods get the axe? The only god I like after Guthix and Armadyl is Zaros. Is he going to get the axe later on too? I wouldn't rule it out.

Like you have a bunch of gods, the usual guy, token evil guy, the ultimate yet guy, the war guy, Hufflepuff house, a mysterious guy and *The Artifact....and Boba Fett, Brassica Prime might possibly be their Boba Fett. * Not an insulting nickname to Seren, but for all intents and purposes, would most likely miss out on lots of chances of personality progression and whatever, due to being linked to a quest series that probably wont be touched until after 2 more world events/15 quests/3 years pass. She's the Artifact by virtue because Jagex indirectly forced her to remain in the realm in her backstory, which indirectly changed the Mourner's purpose for degrading Prifddinas to Crystal. Originally they were just trying to summon Zamorak or something, attempting to use the temple of light as a potential energy source. later on, in Within the Light, for some reason, we find a dead elf carrying a letter saying that the mourners were in fact degrading the city down into crystal...and theres still the issue of the 6 or so seals to the Undercity that hasn't broken yet. (imo, my theories is that the Seals that were broken were Argento, due to Arprosandorian Gnomes worsening the anima mundi flow in Isafdar due to sludge, and possibly the Temple of Light's barriers failing once)

I just decided to play runescape for the first time in forever and im suddenly level 100 (I was around 67 before) and I cant use any of my weapons (Rune stuff by the way) What?

They changed combat completely. The max level is now 200, and rune is now a level 50 requirement when it was 40 before.

I got 99 Construction a few days ago, though SK screwed up on the screenshot timing. [IMG]http://img440.imageshack.us/img440/6899/eht.png[/IMG] In terms of non-combat skills, that just leaves; Runecrafting, Slayer, Hunter, Divination, Fishing, Smithing and Dungeoneering left to max. on the combat side of things, there's still all 3 melees, ranged and HP...i've never been one to gorge on combat much, even before the EoC, more of a quester/skiller type of player.

that halloween event was pretty meh. i feel like Lagex is trying to push the lore part of the game a lot harder now than they did before, gower was smart to sell out at the game's height of popularity. slowly this game turns into a wow clone more and more. and does anyone else miss the old romeo & juliet quest?
