shit is going down dragon claw street price just jumped to 10m, I wish I had seen that tweet about the beta just 50minutes earlier
I'll post mine aswell, got almost all buyables banked now and enough money to collect Charms for 99 Summoning :v:
shit is going down dragon claw street price just jumped to 10m, I wish I had seen that tweet about the beta just 50minutes earlier
Had two pairs of claws I bought a few days ago for under a mil. Sold one set for 15m and other set for 12 m :v: Been on a lucky streak lately, went to Armadyl today and got Armadyl Boots on my 11th kill.
Me and a couple of friends grinded Graa'dor for two hours and our best loot was a fucking dragonstone, jesus christ. On that note, my first trip to GWD was fun.
What did the dragon claws used to do? Like a flurry of attacks or something? Never even seen them. God I remember when dragon mid helms were heralded as super duper awesome.
Combat changes sounds interesting, the ability to set a rotation with Revolution sounds nice...even Momemtum's adrenaline bar being able to use ultimates without breaking sounds nice too, surprised they're adding them in. 0,0 Other note, got round to getting the rest of that hunter xp today. also a picture of stats.
I doubt that they will make the new dragon claws special attack as ridiculous as the old one.
From what I've seen it's just as good, if not better. Curious to the Chaotic Claw Special when they add it in. Ability queuing? Oh thank GOD. Sign me up Jagex.
Sadly, even gods don't get a afterlife, in Missing Presumed Death's supplementary material after the quest you can read a book written by some druid guy about Harold Death esquire. basically it said that Guthix forfeited his right of an afterlife by becoming a god and becomes energy for the earth when he dies. Indirectly, it means all gods becomes energy when they die...with that said, the fact that Zaros is still alive after ejecting his ghost is mysterious, formally i had the theory that he just simply hid inside Gielinor's grim underworld, hiding from an area where Guthix couldn't touch him. (since Guthix passively lets all decisions being primarily mortals and not a God's. Death does his thing, Icthlarin moves them there i think) New level up, screenshot is a bit stale. (at the time it was taken i was 2515 total)
From what I remember Jagex saying, unlike most of the other gods, Zaros was born a god. So taking what you said word for word, since he didn't become a god and was just born one he is more immortal than anyone. On the other hand, maybe he just never truly died to begin with, just had most of his power stolen. this aught to be interesting
Any weapons with specs I'm selling before the update on the off chance that they're completely fucked and nobody wants them.
How much of that is botted?
None, started to play the game sometime in 2005, plus before they got all heavy with Botwatch, chances are they would've looked more closely at Pmods than bots themselves anyway, if only because of the whole "ambassador to the community" thing. Divination went up fast during world event once i got all the arma things, and hunter was just slow...if it wasn't for dailies, chances are they wouldn't be 99, except for the buyables.
Any weapons with specs I'm selling before the update on the off chance that they're completely fucked and nobody wants them.
I'm hoping they don't implement these changes for a while. I was playing the F2P beta yesterday since it lets you use member weapons and I couldn't figure out why anyone would want most of these specials back. So the godsword specials are fairly unique and the staff of light special, but aside from that every other special is basically a threshold with a crappy old animation. I suppose one of the good things is that there is currently no cooldown on specials, so like dragon claw spec can be done twice in a row with full adrenaline (or Armadyl spec, which is stupid since its like the most powerful one). Also if a weapon has a special that is the same as a special that you don't have the levels for then I guess it's pretty good there. Specials in general seem very mid-tier aimed now, since there aren't many/any level 80+ weapons with specials and the game is so gear focused, why would people switch back to using these crappy weapons for their specials unless they were fighting trash.

Anyway he had three main accounts which he would bot on every night, he also ran a seperate computer with 10 Frost Dragon bots on :v:
What was the process for becoming a PMod? Items such as Handcannons, Dragon Claws, Dragon Daggers, Dragon Battleaxe, Dark Bow, Vesta's Longsword and Statius Warhammer are going to be usefull again. Personally I love this update, one thing I hated with the introduction of EoC is that so many items became obsolete. I'm very curious what special attacks they are going to add to some of the new items introduced, I hope items such as drygores get special attacks. Maybe a defensive special for the Mace and offensive for Rapier/Longsword etc. Chaotic claws are going to be an upgrade to Dragon Claws, hopefully same special attack just a lot more powerfull making dungeoneering past 80 useful. I'm very excited about this update and I can't wait to see what they're going to do with this.
What was the process for becoming a PMod? Any cool items to go along with it?
General process is just stuff like having a secure account, playing actively and presumably showing correct reporting skills, it's probably random though. Pmods don't get any perks or items but if they're picked they'd get a message in the message centre asking if they want to be a mod but it takes time for it to be applied.
gz and all but how can anyone stand playing in micro letterbox
Playing on 1920x1080 resolution, can't have it set in resizable mode because i usually multitask whilst skilling, plus im used to the old sizes before the whole client change. usually it's rs in a corner, Firefox in another with Kingdom of Loathing having a slight window bleed under the main Firefox window I'm using.
$$$
Makes me wanna play old school again but I know its just gonna end up with me eventually getting bored. First two weeks of it being back I went ham on rock crabs leveled to like 60 and stopped :v:
try working on some quests or try grinding fishing there's always a load of people there talking about ridiculous shit it's quite entertaining
Want to hear my sad story on how my Runescape playing ended? Of course you don't, but here it is: I played it for some years to the summer of 2006. I was a member and it was all good. When I had to start in a border school, so I could not play any more. I decided to sell as much as I could and to buy an Easter Egg (Cost like 5 million at the time). A year later after the school was over, I checked back in and the price of Easter Eggs was much lower. So I did the most stupid thing I could think off: Selling it again for 1-2 million. What is an Easter Egg worth now? Oh, only about 70 million. Fuck. My. Life..

Probably chump change to you lot but I got my first Barrows loot, Karil's coif. I'm actually really enjoying EoC because all the high-level monsters are now only high-ish and noobs like me with 75 atk, 74str and 70def can go enjoy them without needing 28 sharks to survive the first three hits

The new revolution update will make it even better.
Is Divination one of those skills that don't directly affect anything, but instead provide indirect benefits to other actions and skills, like Agility?
I soloed the kalphite queen pretty easily the other day, but i basically only got 30k from it. I killed the guardians today, and i got about 3m in just under an hour. I also got 4 drops of dragon legs+plateskirt in a row at the metal dragons. If anyone has that magic notepaper, they should try using it to note the damage chitin from the exiled guardians, just have a high enough smithing level, at least towards 70. I made about 4m a while back in one day.
Adding momentum was a really clever way to let players auto attack without nerfing them. The new revolution update will make it even better.
Except that Momentum is terrible for the vast majority of situations in Runescape. Unless you're chinning, killing Dagannoth's with Bloodfire Barrage or doing Tormented Demons. But I'm very excited to see what kind of buff it is getting.
Is Divination one of those skills that don't directly affect anything, but instead provide indirect benefits to other actions and skills, like Agility?
At the moment, it doesn't benefit any skill. But with the introduction of the new skill Invention, late this year or early next year it will add more functionality to Divination. You will use energies and use them to craft upgrades for your weapons, new armour etc. Jagex has not given us a lot of detail about the new skill.
git gud noob if you aren't filling your inv with sharks and prayer pots u aren't a real player
I go to barrows with five monkfish and a super set.
I hate the fact that the HTML5 client still runs like shit for me. On a side note I got 370k from one of my daily login spins. [editline]26th January 2014[/editline] Ok so I just looked on the forums and the HTML5 section is gone and everyone that asks about it are given the responses like "Jagex is so far into the future that unfortunately, most technology hasn't caught up with them."
