Is Blue Dragon recommended at 60/70 ranged or what?
Is Blue Dragon recommended at 60/70 ranged or what?
70+ is what I would recommend. Killed Blue/Black Dragons from 70-93
It really is true: Playing Fight Cave - minigame with Ice Barrage - spell is like "walking in the park". Run Jad, Run! I'm coming for you! :v:
Got to Jad twice, died both times :suicide:
Think i missed getting a screeny of 99 Dungeoneering...im up to level 101 now though. god, it's pretty easy to grind dungeoneering with lucky sinkholes (like 70k for a huge lamp and 50k from a med, and about 100k or so xp just for a daily F1C6 Small...) and having the 99s to practically limit the tasks to just 4 skills+combat. (on the record, im missing Melees, Ranged, HP, Slayer, Smithing and Fishing)
is this anyone here? i really recognise the name but cant put a finger on it
is this anyone here? i really recognise the name but cant put a finger on it
Definitely from someone here, I remember having the person on my friends list and in the FP FC/Clan. Might be Scorpinat if I'm not mistaken.
coming soon to aged academy:
You monster.
Neat. [t]http://i.imgur.com/8rnvorC.png[/t]
Being able to freeze 20 categories instead of 10 just results in me getting shittier prizes than usual.
The real struggle begins.. [t]http://i.imgur.com/5maSsWR.png[/t]
The real struggle begins.. [t]http://i.imgur.com/5maSsWR.png[/t]
Don't set a target for 99, just go one level at a time and it will be at least little less painful of a grind.
The real struggle begins.. [t]http://i.imgur.com/5maSsWR.png[/t]
Get 99 fishing, then you'll know what the real struggle really is
The real struggle begins.. [t]http://i.imgur.com/5maSsWR.png[/t]
Remember that level 92 is half way to 99 :v: I remember Cooking to 99, hella fun.
Get 99 fishing, then you'll know what the real struggle really is
Try doing Farming. Takes months and if you want it grind it other then doing tree runs you're stuck at like 25K xp/h. Fishing is 80-120K xp/hour easily, and with all sorts of bonus XP etc.
so I went to get a raw shark from the bank 'cuz some chump was gonna pay 2k for one, but when I got there some AFK dingus with javelins was getting attacked by the evil chicken many of the other non-bots piled on, but I am the fastest clicksmith in all of Misthalin: $$$

Not to mention all the people who died on level 4 on the Stronghold of Security :v:
Jagex stole our name!
A friend and I just finished our first ever duo Kalphite King kill and got a Drygore Longsword! ........ on the combat beta. :(
Asc bolts costs 100gp less than rune bolts I lol'd. [editline]14th April 2014[/editline] That's just so unfair
The Easter event is pretty eh.
Easter event sucks just because it seems more like a promotion for a minigame than an actual world event. when the event was originally mentioned, i bought up the fact that the world events seemed to toot it's own horn, despite outstaying its welcome, or just generally copy-pasting its assets. (example, the Arma V Bandos event originally had their weeks set to the same progression rate as the Sara v Zammy event but was later shortened to the actual event's duration. modern case, the man near Lodestones says teleport to Kara-Meir despite winding up at Falador instead...lol) The minigame is needlessly complicated, the amount of points per match is pathetically weak, XP might be valuable, the slayer ticket might be nice in the sense that you could pick 1 task monster out of a choice of 2 which might be a bang for your buck if you're pathetically slow in slayer tasks to the extent that you can't get 30 points...Seedicide sounds great on paper, but actual seed droppers are rare, seeds are easily identifiable vs other more annoying drops. Inventory clutter reduction was already covered with Dungeoneering, since all their items (Charming Imp, Herbicide, Bonecrusher) are indirectly more synergistic towards combat, whereas Seeds isn't as major, they're uncommon and people barely even plants vegetable seeds anymore, which brings me to my next point. Patch Bombs suck, in principle they're sorta nice, except for the fact that seeds gets progressively more expensive due to the cost of the experience, it's more of a booby trap reward to higher leveled players, if high level combat crops didn't exist, chances are people might even use patch bombs, and there's always an extremely large surplus of seeds like Sunchokes from Wishing Wells....which are picked in 1 click anyway. It just seems like Jagex noted the grossly large amounts of experience people obtained in divination (construction and fishing) from some world events that they decided to just go a tad casual this time round. even checked comp cape inside the museum, thank god the minigame isn't a requirement, otherwise it'll be even more hated than Castle Wars. If i knew the event was going to be for a minigame, i probably would've went for a conventional Easter Event, even if i know they'll screw it up somehow by having simple objectives people will uncreatively complete in 1 hour (like converting the same reindeer repeatedly) or have some "edgy" contest like the winner of the Evil Chicken v Chocatrice winding up living inside... -gasp- a Haunted House!
http://services.runescape.com/m=news/c=CFD2w8zMsbU/cabbage-facepunch-bonanza Facepunch Bonanza??
events were always p.shitty tbh
There comes a time while I'm playing Runescape that I realize that I'm paying $8 a month to click a glowy sphere millions of times.
Levels for today. plus 99 slayer! also got an effigy, whip, an abyssal orb and a granite Maul...god, Jellies/Gargoyle's drops are so bad. i wouldn't be mad if one of the new Dungeoneering rewards was a Metallurgist's Satchel, that could burn down enemy-dropped armor/weapons into scrap metal chunks, which fills up within the bag: you operate it to choose which weapons/armor is turned to scrap, provided that you have the smithing level to create it. it wouldn't be able to melt down Rune, Dragon, Ammo, Iron (and above) plate armor, nor slayer-only drops. (former 2 due to Rune being too precious to flood a market with plus has moderate value to justify picking up. Dragon because they're supposed to be unique. latter because Slayer is money....little point in melting down a Polypore Stick). As the bag fills up, it fills a percentage, when you take things out the bag then you get the metal scraps, which then can be smelted into a whole bar. there could be 4 tiers ranging from 20, 45, 70 and 90-99. the only difference between them is that a percentage means more for each metal (so 100% iron ingots on a basic bag would equate to about 75% on T2, 50 T3 and 25% T4, basically you can hold more scraps). a Iron Dagger could probably count as 1-2%, a Bar could take 20% (on tier 1) amount of iron scraps to make a bar. another ability is that you can also corrode enemy-dropped ores. again, same limitation except for the core level to mine/smelt the ores. For balance sake, the xp for smashing equipment to ingots could probably be really low, was thinking along the lines of half or quarter the xp you normally get for making them on an anvil, they may have to account for balance such as earlygame moneyspiders such as....Skeletal Spiders!. or only offer xp upfront when recovering the shards in a safe area. (ie, a Bank) this would force people to either bank their shards now, or keep on fighting, intended to give smithing a passive use: for the sake of having craptacular monster droppers to be (somewhat) worth the time, but not to create a fast way of smithing experience, so mining/smithing ores or even buying bars is still the fastest method of experience.
