Im so glad motherlode mine is out, I refuse to mine granite for the lunars requirement.

construction shortcuts would have actually been useful but nope these lazy kiddies just want their afk mining experience

to be fair mining is a shit skill and nobody wanted to train it whatsoever before MM and now they can make some cash and it's somewhat redeemable

i didn't mine my ass up into the 80s for no reason i did it so i could sell expensive ores same for getting smithing up

it took me 10 years to realize that nature runes have a tree on them instead of just some weird green symbol

The new quest is easily laughable. Come on, 300xp for each skill? Phf. Only decent reward is the Black Pearls.

When i did the quest, was expecting it to be the start of a new series, mostly because the Crassians seems like an expy of the Sea Slugs. think about it, a unseen threat comes from under the waves, abduct people and attempts to convert them (via different means. full conversion vs assimilation/mind control) and came from villages that were generally fishing based or just quiet. Heck, maybe the quest could've had mysterious rewards, something along the lines of other similar quests: like Song from the Depths is supposed to be somewhat of a pinnacle of music/voice acting, same with One Piercing Note....former had those HP XP chunks and the latter had a layered "miniquest" that wasn't alluded to except for the statue. (plus gilded Prayer Books) sure i guess there might have been little point in additional rewards for high level players since the Pearls scales with level.... other note, got 98 fish a few days ago, and also 102 dung. they've already created new areas for the game so not really

There are about 5 staff right now that are working on it. They recently hired a new 3d artist so there will be more custom content coming into the game now. I'm pretty sure i read that they have all the tools they had back in the day that they have are using now so we'll see what they can do.
