Runescape V8 - I don't know, I just wanted a runescape thread that wasn't about the 2007 version - Games

Decided to watch the BTS video. They're making a Chaotic spear with the hope of [b]people using it against the Corp Beast.[/b] Why make dead content for another piece of dead content? If Chaotic spear came out back in 2011 it would be fine. But now, nobody kills the Corp beast.

The reason why I didn't play Runescape after the release of EOC was because of all the dead content. I would try to get in to the game and I would just see all my old weapons such as Godswords, Handcannons, Dragon Claws, Dark Bow being obsolete. Weapons which were insanely useful for many PK situations just worthless, going for few 100K on the GE. I came back in january and thankfully I am able to look past that now. And with the recent announcement and showcase of Legacy Mode I'm happier then ever with Runescape. If anyone caught the stream it's pretty much 2011 Runescape with Drygores and some other rather minor changes. Also the recent poll about Skill Update is making me excited, it looks like they're going to make Runecrafting a lot more viable now outside of Runespan. Only thing which generates a good amount of money is pretty much Double Astrals at level 82 and Double Natures at 91, both methods generate around 2m gp/hour. Stuff like Corporeal Beast was my home for the longest time, I remember getting a 3 person Ely split back when they were 500m. Seeing the state of the Corporeal beast saddens me deeply. I hope they take a bit of time in the near future and update these old PVM bosses with new, updated drop tables and mechanics.

I still can't imagine people that return will enjoy it much, considering it has duel wielding, which will totally change PvP.

did they remove the graveyard guy random event? you know, the one you had to bury a shit ton of bones to get and would get either the zombie costume or the two zombie emotes? because if they did, that's lame as shit. also, cap'n hand is best hand.

Has anyone thought up of managing and putting down information of their crops onto a spreadsheet? I've been doing that and it helps a ton.

If it is of any help, I have completed the Chosen Commander- quest EDIT: Nevermind, it's the new quest in the Dorgeshkaan Series. (Didn't they say Chosen Commander would be the last one? -_-)

well shit if we got new keldagrim quests, why not expand on the goblin city as well? i still wish we could have killed sidmund, that guy was such a prick after the first ham quest.

Am I the only one who just looks up a quest guide and rush through quests ASAP to get to the next one? Runescape lore has never intrigued me, it's a pile of garbage compared to other fiction out there.
