These make me sad. I'm gonna power level the shit out of my new acc now. It's just quests I feel "meh" about cause sometimes it's kinda mandatory to do them. I'm not looking forward to grinding slayer again though, unless it's changed.

I don't know why, but doing all the quests I couldn't do 11 years ago feels truly liberating. I started this game when I was 8 and barely knew what the hell I was doing. At one point I had a membership but because I was such a dumb kid, I spent most of my time just running around in the members areas exploring and not doing anything productive. Now years later I've grown older and understand games better, and one day a friend got my playing this again after I swore I'd never touch the game again. In so little time I gathered enough in game money to buy a bond for membership, then I power leveled the shit out of everything, and now I've been doing all those quests I wished I could do way way back in the day. I just finished Monkey Madness among other quests, and I had fun. I also hate Regicide as much as humanly possible.
So I've been leveling up on my 2007 char like crazy, the only thing I wish is that the grand exchange was in 2007scape. It made trading hella easier.

Trading with players and discovering prices from eachother (or just getting it all yourself) was part of that experience. Then again I'm also the kind of guy that thinks adding new content to 07scape was a bad decision.
I honestly don't think people would be as happy as they think they'd be if 07scape didn't get some new content.
I got a huge summoning xp lamp from the treasure hunter, and I would cash it in for 500k but I'm not a member yet, fuuuck. :v: [t]http://img.techpowerup.org/140819/Capture278.jpg[/t]

I was gonna wait a bit til I'm "done" with all the f2p stuff. I'll just save up all my keys from quests and do them after, it's no big deal. I remember when the squeal of fortune was around, one of my friends in college at the time got the 200m prize, fucker.
Oh man, do people legitimately play F2P? Like, good on you, play how you want...but there's sooooo much more content in P2P.
not really when most of the content in the main game's P2P is dead anyway you gain access to more skills and leveling methods that's really it, the only thing still really kept alive by the community is boss fights
I didn't say I was gonna stay f2p aha, I'm not that cheap. I'ma wait til I'm done with all the f2p shit then sub.
Soul reaper is kind of cool. Had to do barrows jesus it was easy. Trought tetsu and c-maul and never needed to eat or put during the entire ordeal. I remember losing so many rune sets to barrows too.
One small favor... Yeah well fuck you too. Next on my list is garden of tranquility and after that finally swan song.
So um, are clue scrolls supposed to drop like flies? I've found 3 this week. I found a medium one at the beginning of the week, a hard one yesterday, and now another hard one just now.

They're all pretty common and if you kill the right thing you can average a clue scroll every 10 min to 1 hour.
if you're killing a lot of stuff you can get several in one day. that's how I kick-started my cash stack
F2P feels more populated cause of the smaller play area but P2P has more stuff to do.
Think Lizardsquad is starting to DDOS mmos again...tried logging in a few minutes ago on a low ping-population world and froze for 20 seconds then lagged out. on the high side, im only 398k until 99 hp.

Thankfully I was just bankstanding and removing junk
Tried logging in now, its painfully slow and a ton of worlds are down. Thankfully I was just bankstanding and removing junk
rumor going round is that they're somehow doing it via the Runescape twitch integration feature, or they're obtaining IP addresses from things like Skype. one thing i noticed from the other previous mass DDOS from last year was that even Derp preyed on Twitch streamers. Makes me wonder if they have some sort of ulterior motive...are they angry at google? is it just someone who simply bought a botnet and a mass of IP addresses from previous websites. some sort of jerky "anti-consumerist conglomerate" anti-internet stardom dealie? EDIT: Probably would help if they at least removed "currently live" channels from the reddit page, maybe hide/disable access to runescape channels, unless you know the direct link..
https://twitter.com/LizardSquad apparently the group ddosing rs have a hate hardon for some streamer called "NightmareRH" never heard of him though, apparently they'll stop when he stops steeaming
they also went for Grossgore...thought he died in real life or got banned. think he goes by Grossie Gore now. still can't help but get the feeling that they're getting inside Twitch's servers by using the IP addresses obtained from high profile streamers to send packages from Twitch by manipulating the API to some extent. supposedly one guy got locked, but im unsure if Jagex even went through with it, or if "lock" was just something hypothetical... Might be nice if Jagex made limited-use Auras awarded via manual-patch, like for example, it works like a Scrimshaw. the Aura can only be disabled once every 10-15 minutes of it being left on, being logged off via disconnect and not coming back would prematurely freeze the timer..just to prevent things like Spirit Trees being overpowered...maybe to offset the balance, maybe have a total level:bonus xp addative to it, you'll have to toggle what skills on the aura first however. And some auras are only obtainable in some types: so Jack of Trades, Wisdom, skilling and Enlightenment Complimentary auras are OK to claim, but not things like Aegis. just because the former are specialized and often left with long cooldowns....with little potential abuse. whilst stuff like Aegis wouldn't mean that people would realistically do combat with a full aura unless it was for training.
NightmareRH is kind of an annoying mankid most the time, but Gross Gore isn't that bad, it's fun to listen to his stories and stuff. Anyway, are the dummies from the treasure hunter good for training on? Cause once I get members and can cash out that 500k lamp, I have almost 30 keys which will probably get me a few.
Think I underestimated garden of tranquility... Seems like it's even taking longer than one small favor. Somehow good though, since I can do stuff besides waiting for the plants to grow.
They should rename ape atoll rape atoll
