I have to use legacy during ba because A) I can't use momentum as the calling abilities FUCKING DISABLE MOMENTUM, B) I can't use revolution as it randomly fucking FORCES ME TO ATTACK A NEARBY ENEMY EVEN IF I AM STANDING STILL, and C) I can't possibly focus on doing manual abilities with all the shit going on.
im mostly talking medics here (i main defender) not calling. Had a few call via chat, and then wonder why everyone hates them.. (its because chat messages dont go to everyone in the big arena but the abils/horn do) in other news pro 360 no scope defender look for similarly pro, possibly noscoping team to do Hm w1-10 for mad bxp gains and tickets [editline]30th August 2014[/editline]
The collector's Insignia looks interesting, but the problem is that i just absolutely hate Barbarian Assault, i never played a game since 2 weeks after the original release, so on top of the 500 collector points to obtain it, i'll have to do all 10 waves, kill the king then earn 1.4k points to level the role just to have the ability to buy it at all..it may or may not be worse since now that the minigame is important, chances are there's just too many scrubs about. Still though, a Pocket Slot Ring of Wealth looks quirky for what it is, since it means you could wear something like a Ring of Vigor or whatever, if you're not using the slot to hold something like a Charming Imp on an Abyssal Demon task. if it's charged up though, you can activate it to count as a doubled ring of wealth, which sounds cool...it even boosts odds of Dragon Full helms from pyre ships and odds of chewed bone drops from Miths. 0,0 Looked at the wiki...have to kill the kind at least 5 times...god, the minigame would probably be dead by then if people hoarded points, they'll leave after killing the 5 kings.
you need 5 king kills per insignia you buy lol, and BA wont die any time soon. its currently fastest agility exp (bxp admittedly) in the game
they did nerf the xp though, now Hard Mode is more like old XP rates, supposedly.
pre update barb assault was literally impossible because eoc broke it beyond playablity. and hardmode w1-10 with NO king kill is 500k bxp. another 100k for king kill (i dont kill king cos i can sell the tick

Ouch, that resolution. That's a pretty heavy loss of image quality.
Well thats shitty I bought a set of dclaws like a month ago for 2m and apparently they crashed to barely 1m. :|
Well thats shitty I bought a set of dclaws like a month ago for 2m and apparently they crashed to barely 1m. :|
1M is like toiletpaper money anyway.
Neat.
So, I got membership. What to do now?
*All the quests. *Train member skills to 99. *Do mini games.
I mostly just grind slayer all day when I log in.
1M is like toiletpaper money anyway.
I don't mind having your toiletpaper amount of money
I don't mind having your toiletpaper amount of money
not for nothing, if you've been playing this long and still feel that 1m is a lot you need to git gud
So, I got membership. What to do now?
Start grinding for cash so you can afford to buy bonds consistently and do infinite membership.
Start grinding for cash so you can afford to buy bonds consistently and do infinite membership.
This. You can easily start making 1-2m per hour as a fresh member. Pay for membership almost instantly.
This. You can easily start making 1-2m per hour as a fresh member. Pay for membership almost instantly.
Do tell. Made quite a bit of cash on woodcutting and killing dragons, but nothing near 1m per hour. Also, is cooking no longer a profitable skill? Everything seems to go for more gold raw.
Even when cooking was profitable it was pitiful. Anyone else looking forward to ironman mode? I haven't played for quite a while but I'm eager to try it.
Even when cooking was profitable it was pitiful. Anyone else looking forward to ironman mode? I haven't played for quite a while but I'm eager to try it.
Ironman hi-scores are going to be a joke though. They're still gonna allow keys to be bought and redeemed lol
I find the prospect of Ironman Mode to be a tad unfeasible in Runescape, i mean sure, people could do it, but it requires a new account. eating up potential names, which is bad, but people needs to buy membership is even worse if they're outright blocked from playing it after dieing once. Now, if jagex worked out some sort of account-based system where people could have TWO lots of data, or maybe roll out Ironman Mode in waves to test the water, then that would be fine. If it makes data storage bad, maybe the 2 characters would share the same bank, however drops from monsters, Skilling and TH are turned into (IM) items, each paying member who adopts ironman mode for the first time can gain 50 bankspaces. Ironman Mode items can be converted back into regular items for a partial GP price on your maingame character but they can't convert items into IM items. the storage situation for armor would have the player "Binding" armor/weapons to them in a Wardrobe-likeway, so someone could have a full bronze-Dragon set on their person with simple on/off switches, but Barrows and beyond are items-only. Shortline, i can see Ironman mode being a bitch, both to both players and jagex. i can see people maliciously disconnecting people just to make them lose so they can squeeze up the highscore table. it's a novelty at best for a game like Runescape, it's a dead idea for them, but not for something like Diablo 3 where the randomly generated nature plays nicely for them. Personally, i'd like it if they could figure out a way of having the ability to play both RS07 and EOC at once, might be weird as an experiment. but i could see people abuse the hell out of it. or maybe since people are physically in both places in Runescape, the amount of people NOT reporting scamming is lessened to such a degree that scammers themselves are deterred from attempting. EDIT: Was unsure wherever if it would be ethical to consider Quest progress to be shared, but the quests themselves to be disabled on IM characters due to imbalances of having fresh level 3's instantly jumping to Lunars, or breaking the economy:training method in some way. having quests shared would encourage questing, but it'll be a bitch for Pures which gives an advantage to older players. if they had milestone armor or something, it might make Ironman Mode incentive to a degree, or do a Diablo and erase the characters after a season and reimburse with something.
About to redeem membership on my main, what would you recommend doing? Haven't been a member for years.

I'm making close to 2m/hour just semi-afk Astral runecrafting.
Damn, I tried logging in and I can't remember my password. I don't have a back-up e-mail either. This sucks, I made the account in like 2006. I think I'm gonna make a new one though, I've been wanting to play RS for a while.
They're all pretty much accurate. I'm making close to 2m/hour just semi-afk Astral runecrafting.
Yeah, saw that. Going to sell chopped tuna since I have like 3k cooked tuna in the bank from grinding up my cooking level and they seem to be in reasonable demand.
New username is "I Am Exigent" add me :v: [editline]2nd September 2014[/editline] It's actually "The Exigent" [editline]2nd September 2014[/editline] Everything has changed so much, wow.
How many of you guys play 2007? I feel lonely.
How many of you guys play 2007? I feel lonely.
I tend to AFK skills on OSRS while I play RS3 and vice versa.
How many of you guys play 2007? I feel lonely.
pnut plays
I tend to AFK skills on OSRS while I play RS3 and vice versa.
how do you do that? Can you log in to both games at same time?
how do you do that? Can you log in to both games at same time?
Multiple accounts. [editline]2nd September 2014[/editline]
Why the hell is 96 summoning, 96 herblore and 92 prayer recommended for everything? It makes it seem like high level bossing is huge challenge without soulsplit, overloads and a pack yack.
Well it is a huge pain without these things but it is doable. Don't expect to make anywhere near the same amount of money.
So how should I approach this as a new character? Should I train combat skills, or should I train other skills? I've done The Blood Pact quest so far.
