Build up trust in a world, you might loose a bit of money doing this but after a while people will start betting 25-100m on you in GP/Items. Once they did you would roll the dice and if you lost you would log and move on to the next world. Always had a few alts impersonating Dragon Dyce hosts, I didn't get that much from doing this(Few 50-100m trades) but a friend of mine had some guy trade him 500m. When we lured we would do things like the Lava Titan lure where people would take a Lava Titan, summon it and teleport. Except it teleported you to deep Wilderness where we had a guy waiting to kill them. We would also BS known BSers who joined our clan. We would tell them we were going on a private PK trip with a small number of people. We would go in to the Forinthry Dungeon and we would all hop to lobby. We would choose a world and log on. Once we were on we would announce what world we were on(We always had private chat off) Once he logged one we would be 4-5 people with Dragon Claws/Turmoil ready to take him out. And because there's a small delay when you log on where you can't put on your Prayers he wouldn't have Protect Item / Melee on in time. We didn't get much, maybe a pair of Claws or an AGS if we were lucky. But, remember that when I did this it wasn't against the rules. Luring/Trust trades were perfectly legal. I invited some guy from FP to lure with me and a few buddies of mine and when we didn't get anything after a few hours he got pissed and started demanding money from me as compensation. I just make money by buying a lot of armor peices and then selling them all for a little extra. I made 400 mil like that before I stopped playing. Not it's not going so fast anymore, I guess people are using different armor that I don't know about or something.

best scam ever was armor trimming in varrock - find a group of suckers in the bank - take them into romeo & juliet's house - go up to the second floor - get everyone to drop their armor - make sure to block everyone - if you want to be a real dick, trim some diamonds to make it look legit - log off - join new world, sell armor

I know I've scammed people before but I can't remember which methods, it was so long ago; playing rs on shitty laptops next to my friend as we communicated to each other directly while stuffing ourselves full of hotpockets - those were the days...

Speaking of scamming, the doubling scam is still commonly used, but so easy to take advantage of. If I see doublers I tend to scam them by going along with their act. You know, where they pretend to trade with someone whose obviously their partner in crime and that person does the whole "omg! Thanks!" act. I tell them to double my 1 mil as a test, and if they do I'll give them 50 mil to double. Naturally they see this as a big steal so they take my 1 mil and give me 2 mil back. I then mock them and I leave.
