I have played EVE Online on and off since around 2009. I've scammed and robbed in that game aswell. EVE Online has elaborate scams, much more so than Runescape. But they're rather rare. I have also played World of Warcraft on and off since 2006. I have thousands of hours played and I have raided in almost every expansion, except TBC. I know that the scams pulled in World of Warcraft is the typical ones. BS your way to the top of a guild and steal BIS gear from other raiders, steal the guild bank, steal from your friends or host some sort of gambling game. Dbone lure would have probably been a much better example of an elaborate lure/scam. Scams in Runescape aren't on the level of EVE Online espionage. But you're trying to write them off without any sort of experience. Many of them surpasses anything you would find in World of Warcraft. If i wasn't already 99 in everything, i'd probably be more eager for Prifddinas, i guess gold shattered hearts will have to sustain me until they release the combo potions, grindable dungeoneering and the crystal tools. think batch 1 is base combat skills, slayer, mine, smith, woodcutting and farming. the more chunkier things like combo potions and moss is probably in batch 2, same thing with the crystal tools. Crystal imps may or may not be in batch 1, since the Max Guild does teleport to skilling areas, so who knows. hopefully tree-shaking scrimshaws are updated to count crystal implings, might make grinding for the sidequest much easier plus 3x surface loot might sound nicer for IF you actually find implings, rather than running off to the bank, just to have some other jerk steal it because all the items are worse than the bare imp-in-a-jar price.
