I and a familymember's account are both permabanned for mayor marco'ing while we didn't (we've been playing since 2006), sended an appeal but do someone knows how fast the response is?

I guess I should really complete the elf quest series. I got stuck on that one part in I think roving elves where you have to make explosives because it was dumb.

I appealed a ban several years ago and got my account back after around 3 years of inactivity, sometimes you just have to push for it over and over again

The older quests are more of a chore than anything. The only reason I'll do them is because they're required for lots of crap that I wanna use or do. They seem to rely a lot of random pass/fail events and running 10 million miles to find the items you need and running 10 million miles back to where you need to use them.

If their system was so "infallible" then they'd have seen that I actively conversed with people doing the exact same thing that I was doing. God forbid someone grind gold in a game that's pretty much only about grinding. Naturally asking for an appeal was useless. All I got in a reply was a link to what being banned meant and the implication that they were not going to overturn it or look at it at all. So even though I'd like to see the elf city, I can't justify spending anymore money on this game when the support is so crap.

I got negative responses for about 3-6 months before anything promising even started to happen. I just didn't stop sending notes to them, got very specific about why I believed it was in error, kept a polite tone, and eventually something came of it. What I did was explicitly against the rules (account lending) but eventually I got it back. You just have to be persistent.

I am ready for bxp weekend. I have 99 construction (level 86 now!) banked. it'll take 20~ hours to burn through all my planks but I plan to alteast do 75% of it during bxp, hopefully all for the cape. also got 99 summoning (from 96) banked and 97 herblore (from 94, purely in extremes/torstols) banked.

I tried to appeal my old account that got banned in around '04 because I was trying to sell my account publicly. I just got some automated email saying no. it was worth a shot

I botted from about 70 to 99 mage in the mage training arena. Never got banned somehow, even though every now and again I'd leave the bot on and come back to it a couple hours later finding it stuck somehow.

so after thinking my account got wiped or something a year ago i figured it out with jagex and got my account back up and running. I logged in and got 3 or 4 macro warnings and got that cleared up and my account is back to good standing and playable. Got my lvl3 skiller back!

I got a mute appealed once for scamming/advertising. Granted, this was years and years ago. I just sort of kept bugging them, and they shrunk it down to three days from the two weeks it was prior. And, honestly, their support is still leagues better than Steam's. So there's that.
