Agility still isn't used much though, and chances are it'll be easily trainable once the Tuska event comes out. was 40k or so per feather worth a few hundred agility XP a minute...? Still think the whole 10k springs instant upgrade thing is just Jagex' tactics into making Springs too valuable to use. kind of surprised that they even touched the Spring Cleaner considering the whole eventual mass drop pickup update to the extent that they updated legendary pets. (even more surprising that they didn't go the Maple Story route and just have half the pets only pick up 2 types of incompatible items like Fish/Logs and another do Ores/Runes. rather than all legendaries having 3 slots for any ability.). And even then, they still have to update Porters, or give a more robust item filter on the level of spring cleaner to make sure you're not wasting charges on banking lowbie items when you loot things. rather than relying on fixed GE selection values.

God I hate Agility most boring skill ever.

The main formula that mmos follow is [usually] the idea that there is some sort of endgame weapon that has all of the mechanics that makes that class good. Shitty f2p mmos like Maplestory have fallen prey into this trap, and Runescape fell into it the moment EoC came along. I don't know if they've nerfed the 2h last time I played, but every reasonable man and his mule carried a 2h to kill things with, given the fact that weapon styles were not a thing any more. You could just crush anything into submission with a few shots/skills.

Dual wielding melee beats 2h currently, but they're looking into changing that.

i get the feeling a staff has way higher dps than a wand and an orb/book though [editline]29th April 2015[/editline] but it is kinda cool how you can set up a different autocast spell for each hand

Wand/Off-hand is higher DPS because of better wand only abilities. Same goes for dualwield ranged/melee.

I can honestly see the price of Torstols falling in modern RS. just because of the Explorer's Aura from the roadtrip event. after tiers 1-3, i ran out of "pickable" herbs for the day afterwards i spent all 30 mins of tier 4 on crimson skillchmpas an harpooning swordies/tuna. i don't see the aura being that AFKable, even if it's limited to 30 mins per day max for 30 days. i just like how i can multitask the chins, and im 99 herb so the plots always gave torstols at about 1 (almost common), 2-3 or even 4 per plant. unless jagex keeps the resource flow in check with some sort of total level beefgate. Also Tuska event was moved from 3rd week of may to June 1st because of players complaining about exams, and that jagex noticed a trend in that there's more players in the summer months. they also moved some of the roadtrip weekends around to coincide with the Minigame Spotlight. you basically play a minigame for 5 mins to get 1 thaler, or play the spotlighted minigame and get 1 thaler a minute. the minigame that's chosen rotates out every 3 days. thalers themselves isn't a replacement for currency and is infact much worse if you're trying to get specific rewards just for the sake for the comp reqs...like the profound platebody takes over 1k hours of non-spotlight minigames or 200 or so...thalers themselves doesn't count time spent waiting so that makes the time even worse for things like castle wars. I like wearing just my character's regular clothing when running around. Most of the high-leveled players I would see had the crappy plain shirts and plain pants with high-tier cosmetics, like the angel/demon wings.

yeah they made it so you get full experience for kills inside of pest control a few months ago
