Runescape V8 - I don't know, I just wanted a runescape thread that wasn't about the 2007 version - Games

Since when does Runescape no longer support Chrome? Ugh, I really hate using Firefox. Also picked up my 10 year veteran cape some months ago, shame that I don't play that much anymore.

I'm really happy that Firefox still works, as long as I can use a browser with adblock, I have no complaints.

the moment things like Swiftkit adds native Firefox compatibility, chances are the amount of ad money is going to die out, even from members who for some reason has their "last played" data made irreverent, thus forcing ads until you log in. you can reactivate java on chrome, but once it gets to September, there'll be no way to reactivate java, even now it might be a security risk as the time goes by. Apparently according to the tuska stream, Rune Dragons would drop an attachment for Glacor boots, the chat was fired up about it, but i wasn't around when they actually mentioned it. if it even holds any weight. Also for the moment, an early youtube video shown off World Eater armor; its basically Warpriest except with some sort of passive Crit effect; the cape is called World Eater Spines. Looking at userlist...wait, are you the Zpoon? :o

Probably going to get a six month subscription at the end of the week, been playing OSRS for months on and off now. Will help that I actually have skills that I will want to level up like thieving and hunter. Should be able to access my RSC character again as well which will be interesting, I haven't played it since they opened it up to new players like me sometime around 2009 I believe.

I like the style of Runescape nowadays. They do a good job of making detailed characters with barely any polygons.

So Tuska is coming out on monday. from the sounds of the BTS video, Tuska has the potential to Win some days. im assuming that she can only win if the collective factions doesn't manage to do a threshold of Anima-Damage to her the current day, if you go past that, then the team with the most effort wins the day. activities includes jumping to planetoids doing stuff like nurturing plants for the Anima energy. every few hours for 20 minutes, you can skill on her back: kill Tuska's parasites that became engourged with her blood/essence, and chop down spines/balance on them for agility. You can get an astromancer sextant override if you shoot the Monkey into space south of the Wizard's tower, by talking to one of the Astromancers there. (not the one inside the tower) can't be bothered to link these but there's going to be a Quest cape toggle for current and retro appearences, the Slayer Belt content is going to be rolled into the Toolbelt...weirdly there's colored spices in there though that might just be placeholder images or possibly the rare drops from monsters like Desert Lizards and Rock Slugs, there's also the crystal chimes but unless they improve the Prifddinas ones AND the Tirranwn Quiver then they're going to be made even more redundant. EDIT: The promo ends about Mid-July, except if you want to make full use of the enlightenment aura and the goebie relics, you'll probably have to adopt early since they'll only be usable/obtainable until the end of August. Also if you're looking at old info, Enlightenment aura used to be 2 hours long for 100% more xp, but now it's 1 Hour due to people prepping up resources, causing a lack of resources in some areas.

That's a shame. I doubt I'll even be doing much content, since i'm only level 100-ish, with no real cash or anything special, but I just really want to get back in the game and it seems like a good enough deal for someone without a job. I'll probably spend most of it grinding up frost dragons anyways.

I'll probably spend most of it grinding up frost dragons anyways.[/QUOTE] guess you could always plan some short term goals, like trying to grind up levels for Plague's End for Prifddinas. seriously despite being a skilling town, it's pretty large for what it is. my only qualms is that although most skills are indirectly represented; the only actual skills with sizable buffs is herblore. Construction, Thieving, Mining and Smithing seems like XP treadmills. and Farming did get some new shinies but you'll have to either be lucky/maxed to use a level 90 (?) or so crystal blossom seed to get 15k farm xp a day+a blossom you [I]cant even use[/I] unless you're 99 herblore, all to make a justifiably economical/overpowered skilling Juju potion with better effects than regular jujus except missing a few things due to the upgrade process, most notably the random double herbs from the regular Juju which instead you randomly find Harmony Moss when harvesting crops and randomly getting 25% more from harmony pillars. Herblore itself has the combonation potions made from their components and crystal flasks, you'll have to find the recipes inside Daemonheim before you can buy the rights to making the potion, pretty easy to find if you know people who has Yak cards, or if you're just spamming lots of low level dungeons, there's stuff like Supreme Overloads and Supreme Prayer regen potions...its gradual powercreep however. Slayer has a weekly minigame and slayer master, farming gets said crystal blossom patch, elder tree patch, a bush, regular tree, fruit. herb and 4 harmony pillars. dungeoneering gets a 110 and 115 resource dungeon, though the latter dungeon is better for near maxed players because of the Draconic Maw for the chance of getting Minigame/quest/combat damage enhancers for comp reqs, without an Edimmu slayer task, the best you can use the 115 dungeon for is 25 more Crystal Sandstone a day. Agility has a new scalable XP agility course, the Divination familiar is partially usable for the course to make it faster with sporadic shortcuts and increased odds of rewards. and also a capped daily-xp semi-afkable Tai Chi stand to change stances on. but god, the thieving targets' loot is amazing for what they are, Namely.. • Amlodd's Portents of the Porters • Cadarn's Super Mage/Range Potions/Bowstrings. • Hefin's Summer Pies/Dragon Bones/Hefin Course XP multiplier tokens. • Crwys' Buckets of Supercompost/Logs. • Iowerth's Super Strength/Melee/Def potions, Sharks. • Traehaerm's Addy/Coal/Iron ores, Bars (think i recall steel/iron) Maybe even Meilyr's small bags of dungeoneering tokens if you can look past the ground blue dragon scales they hand out like candy.

I hope the Agility XP you receive from skilling on Tuska will be worth it. 96 at the moment and Heffin course makes me want to kill myself. New Tuska Warpriest is sexy as fuck.

As soon as the teaser popup happened, they appeared south of barb village. Took everyone about 15 minutes to realize, then everyone world hopped and collapsed each rock in about 2 hours.

Tuska looks amazing. If my character hadn't been deleted randomly, I would totally resubscribe for that. Edit: I just checked my account again, my character is mysteriously back. Guess I'm resubbing then.

[img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/aRmGsLJ.png[/img_thumb] So I sold all of the above for 12,2m including a couple of damned amulets, ~2.7m cash from chests and burning fiyr remains aaand 74 Damned amulets which are still on sale for 340k each should get me another 25,1m which totals around 40m Gotta say I'm pretty burned out from doing this, I even took a couple months break from this game

did you farm fiyr shades or buy the remains, because farming them seems like a huge pain in the ass, but I can't imagine anyone would actually have that many to sell in bulk either

I farmed around 1400-1500 myself and bought the rest, nobody did sell them in bulk but I had my buying offer on for weeks so I got the rest 500 piece by piece

It's nice that you can solo it, some nice free xp for me.

I should've trained construction beforehand. WE3 is giving me shit exp for my level.
