also teleporting around all day with runes really adds up the magic exp over time

Or you can make tablets and use those instead
lodestones are a nice alternative if you don't have the necessary teleport runes, or are f2p and constantly banking/skilling.
go where you want but sacrifice xp, or gain xp and go where you want
sounds fair to me.
It hurts me with how little stamina I have as a new free player on OSRS.
the twitch stream mentioned that they might be adding Duel Anywhere in Modern Runescape. there was word going around that they'll be tier 90 Tank Gear from raids with a complete set effect. the Glacor Boots needs attachments that drops from Rune Dragons but they will degrade back into the tradable Glacor Boots after the usual amount of hits. they even added a yet to be shown Dragonkin as part of the backstory, named after the Rune Labs suggester. but because of the Dragonkin language structure some of the name had to be changed...the player who suggested them was named Dragonforcae, forgot how the Jmods mentioned it in steam. you'll learn some more Dragonkin words in the Adamant dungeon...i think.
they also were going to show off the Kethsi Ring, but they just handed the stream back to the question answering Jmods. before all that, there was production art of the Monastry revamp art, but because of how so few quests are actually involved, it's only the Cabbages, clue drawers and Scorpion NPCs that is actually used there. it'd probably be way less intensive than the Falador revamp to the extent that the Ninja Team might do it.
They have been talking a lot about updating graphically obsolete areas of the game recently. The game looks like a mess at the moment. Going from Prif to Falador feels really weird.

The legend himself.
i still can't decide between osrs and rs3 :v:
i've just been jumping between the two when really i just want to pick one and stick at it, i don't have the time for two

i forgot to do the killing blow with excalibur, which i had left in my bank.
beat the fucker like 5 times before i looked it up on runehq and ran away.
Old School RuneScape is simple but tedious. New School RuneScape is streamlined in some areas and absolutely neglected or half-baked in others.
i flipped a coin 5 times and 07 won so now i'm grinding my magic up to get dem teleports, then i think i'll probs do agility too to get that extra energy
i enjoy this because of the familiarity and the nostalgia plays a huge factor, i'd love to get to where i was when i was a kid and then go even further and do all of the stuff that i wanted to do back then. however i do miss the graphical stuff from rs3, the 07 charm is great but it would be nice to have little things like fog instead of just a void of black (or just better draw distance ofc) and shadows, antialiasing, etc

also a guy gave me 400k for no reason
Do people not know that wearing heavy armor and shields ruins your magic attack?
if you're talking about splashers they do it on purpose to get the base cast exp while afk. it's not against the rules but incredibly cancerous
Zezima was hacked.

I find that people in osrs are really helpful to new players. I was nice to this guy in the wildy and he dumped a bunch of gear on me.
It's really weird doing quests that you don't remember doing as a kid, but then you remember doing them so you don't even need a guide.

I can do the basement part of Ernest the Chicken flawlessly without a guide even though it's been like 8 years.
Combat level 40 and I get a task from Vannaka to kill 97 ice warriors. :v:

If you train slayer to high enough levels then you will get some pretty outrageous drops from that while training combat at the same time.
A lot of that old knowledge will continue to be useful.
yeah it looks like it's gonna take a long time to get a fighter torso, there were maybe 8 people there and none of them would take me at 47 combat
so I'm just gonna do fremennik trials then dragon slayer and all of the shit in between (40 crafting and wcing for trials, 32 quest points for dragon slayer etc) and see where that gets me
If you're playing OSRS you should do Knight's Sword. The Knight's Sword quest is incredibly easy, and will get your smithing from 1 to 29. Once you're 29 you train your smithing quickly to 30(I'd recommend Iron knives, since they tend to sell for a profit.) Once you're 30 you start doing Blast Furnace, creating Steel Bars. The thing about Blast Furnace is that it halves the coal required to make a bar. So instead of requiring 2 coal for a steel bar you only require 1. This reduces the cost of making the bar and increases the profitability. Not to mention you can craft a ton of steel bars in a relatively short amount of time, a lot faster then smelting in a furnace.
It requires some start up cash, or atleast some ore. But it's an incredibly good money making method when you first start playing. Last time I did it(Shortly after GE release.) I made about 400K GP/hr.
Id love to get into blast furnace but that cost if you're not 70 anything is a turn off. I'd rather buy steel bars and double my money with cannon balls
why the fuck are willows only 7gp wtf i've just spent like an hour on these (mainly to get 40 wc) but I could've just stayed on oaks for slightly longer and got more money

they literally have no use, people who want to train FM just use maples+, you dont need to fletch very many willow items either. Oaks get used a lot to make planks for oak larders

60 is required for it to be free. And the fee isn't too bad, not really going to put a dent in your profit at all. You're also going to make a lot more per hour than with cannon balls.

It costs 2.5k for like 10 minutes. In that time you will make 20-40k profit anyway.

Pretty sure Peter already quit Runescape since he got pissed at how easy it became to level the skills.
Still a cunt thing to do, hack into the most known player's account.

the knight's sword is that blurite quest right? fun trick you can do, if you make a second sword and store one in your bank before completing the quest you get to have your own blurite sword. i don't think it has any stats better than steel swords but it's still a neat thing to get.
