Runecrafting eventually makes me angry. [editline]25th June 2015[/editline] So does construction. [editline]25th June 2015[/editline] You know what, I'll get angry at anything.
Went from 69 to 72 in about 24 hours, gradually working my way up to 99 through red chins.
not having to worry about teleportation expenses ever again clue scrolls have been weird lately. one gave me an anagram riddle, which upon solving gave me the same exact anagram, then I got my prize now I got a casket that contained a casket which contained my prize. ??
60 att 52 str 50 def / 40 range 56 mage is monkey madness doable with these stats? i can get the gnomes to fight the boss down a little bit and then go in afterwards right? it was piss easy on rs3 but i dunno if it got nerfed or something
you can do MM with less if you're competent enough
I've done it a couple of times before so I shouldn't have much of a problem, I've got 43 prayer too [editline]27th June 2015[/editline] oh god the slider puzzle [editline]28th June 2015[/editline] it's late and those things frustrate me so I rinsed my bank to pay the 200k to solve it

I once did it with 25 HP, 12 Magic and 1 Prayer :v:
how many times did you die?
I think I died around 3-4 times. Only time I died was when entering the trap door in the monkey temple, since you're frozen for a few seconds after entering where you can't eat/walk and level 100+ zombie monkeys are able to hit you. This was few days after OSRS came out.

So that latest quest today. feels like they're going all Xiaolin Showdown with the Elder Artifacts, apparently the [sp]Elder Mirror can do fantastical things such as duplicate objects and refract/steal essences from one being and transplant it into another[/sp] if it means anything. haven't actually done it yet, but i'll get round to it. The quest boss? imagine like how the dark lord in Plagues End is like [sp]a guy on the internet who really got into cyst/zit videos[/sp] despite being [sp]a fragment of Seren who's generally more about life/creativity rather than death[/sp], in the quest of the new boss we have some sort of [sp]Unusual mutant Dragonkin, presumably due absorbing the power they're meant to protect but using it himself because V byproxy became a False User. kind of Freudian to be honest[/sp]. You have Elder Crown = (Semi) Glove of Jisaku (detects other artifacts, not magnetize them), Elder Sword = Golden Tiger Claws, QUEST SPOILERS [sp]Elder Mirror = Reversing Mirror+Sphere of Yun (however it seems transferable, it killed V by handing his power to a Dragonkin)[/sp], Elder Horn = Tongue of Saiping+Zing Zom-Bone (when Quinn used it to control sea mammals). the Stone of Jas acted somewhat like Crystal Glasses but seeing the past rather than predicting the future...not to mention giving a power boost.

2/13 of the way there, will probably switch to magic longs at 85 since it is profitable to alch them even after buying all the raw materials for them (logs, strings, nats) and should be about 50k magic longs to get 99 fletching

I got to 90 Fletching back when oldschool started up, but I burnt myself out. Haven't played in months. I wish I had an income so I could pay for membership again. I miss the grind.
In osrs they offer 14-day bonds now [at the GE], which can be bought with ingame currency. They usually linger at about 1.65 mil, but you can earn that back in a day easily if not over the course of the bond.
It's generally cheaper to trade your gold over to RS3 and buy it there.
Went from 74 to 79 hunter in about two days on OSRS. Still a fuck load of xp left until 99
It's generally cheaper to trade your gold over to RS3 and buy it there.
Its incredibly easy to earn gold on rs3, period but what do you mean transfer from osrs to rs3?
Its incredibly easy to earn gold on rs3, period but what do you mean transfer from osrs to rs3?
Use a gold swapping service to exchange your OSRS gold to RS3 gold and vice versa. I think the rate is about 1:7-8 (OSRS/RS3) So if a bond is 1.5M in OSRS, that's about 10-12M RS3 gp. So sometimes you can save a bit of cash transferring your money to another version of the game and buy the bond there. It's also incredibly easy to make a ton of money on OSRS aswell. Not hard to make 250-500K GP/hr a few hours in.
oh so its one of thoooose things; what all those macros are yappin on about I thought it was a legit feature or something. I'll pass on it, in this case edit: in response to below post im just gonna edit to save a bump when I said legit I meant official feature, my bad
oh so its one of thoooose things; what all those macros are yappin on about I thought it was a legit feature or something. I'll pass on it, in this case
It's legit, as in Jagex has stated it's not violating any in-game rules. Plenty of legitimate people on Sythe doing it.
Sweet, I didn't think fletching would actually be profitable. Cut the logs yourself, bow strings are only 110gp ish (flax is 15gp ish if you want to go full cheapo and spin it yourself) and then sell them, maples are 300gp at the mo so I'm actually making acceptable money from it (old school) Loving 07 at the moment, doing all the things I didn't do as a kid - finished monkey madness, got my proselyte armour, gonna run a mate through waterfall quest and give him some starter cash now then it's on to horror from the deep
The way to make profit in fletching is to not string any shortbows, but only do longbows. You make loads of profit after you can make maple longbows.

I also give money to my friends sometimes to go stake and i end up getting double my investment
What are the best f2p ways to make money on Old School? I want to try to make enough to buy a bond, then get going with some members stuff again.
If you got 33 magic you could do the grab spell on wine of zamorak, which are around 1.3k each or so. Another way to make money is to do hill giants and kill them for their bones. Woodcutting yews are also a great way to make money. But really after that, there really is no great moneymaking way in f2p. Stay off pking in f2p as there is no real profit made from it either.
What's a good way I can make money with these stats? I know there are green dragons and fishing sharks, but is there anything else? I need some money for some slayer supplies to get to 58 for cave horrors, and then I'll start making money from black masks.
runecrafting isnt bad money
Yew logs, blast furnance, fletching maple longbows, runecrafting natures and air orbs if you want to get your magic up.
