Do bond prices stay consistant? I may high alch until I can buy one, I miss castlewars dearly, is there a server where a lot of people play it?
Pretty sure Castle Wars on OSRS is pretty dead, it's still active on RS3 because of the Trimmed Completionist cape requirement Bond prices are generally consistent. Only really increasing whenever there's a package deal or something similair going on. If you start making money for one now I doubt the price will change much by the time you affoard one.
Cwars on osrs is a bit active, but everyone is maxed and spams ice barrage, so you won't have fun
Is the new runescape version actually making fun to play? I remember when i played this game in 2007
Is the new runescape version actually making fun to play? I remember when i played this game in 2007
If you didn't enjoy Runescape back in 2007, you probably won't like it today. But it's always worth giving it another try, a lot has changed in 8 years.

Some of the conversations I've seen: "Why do black skinned dudes always call their girls a bitch?" "Gay sex is icky, but lesbians are super hot (don't think they should be able to marry tho lol)!!" "What should I call black people then, a nigger?" "Monkeys" "Why are you mad girl, are you having some kind of hormone storm?" Oh Runescape

like 2 hours of making wines straight lol, went from 64-73 off of a single xp drop, wanted to go for 1m xp drop but i lost focus for like 15 seconds and that was the end of my streak :( probably going to go for 90 fletching then ill try to go for the 1m xp drop again lol
playing it back in 2007 was the best time of my life
Then definitely try out Old School Runescape. It's a seperate version of Runescape being actively developed by a small team at Jagex.

ahhhh jagex you bastards why do I have to burn 200 corpses to get fucking mortayna tasks completed
ahhhh jagex you bastards why do I have to burn 200 corpses to get fucking mortayna tasks completed
try burning 2000 like I am
Try imagining how long it will take me to get 40k Red chins by comparison in an attempt to get 99 hunter on Old School Runescape.
I hope you aren't starting chins asap, they suck to hunt until the 80s
I hope you aren't starting chins asap, they suck to hunt until the 80s
Level 81, I'm in the clear to do so.
When I last logged into old school nearly 3 months ago I had 10 team-11 capes selling on the GE, just under their guide price which was something like 500k each. Now there's no sign of them. I feel like jagex wasn't too happy with me trying to take advantage of the ridiculous pricing at the time.
So I haven't played this in a long time and today I just had this urge to start playing again but on Old School this time. Literally seconds after I got off Tutorial Island I got one of these babies. It helps that the frog prince outfit was one of my personal favorites to wear around.

are the random events back in 07scape? i'd love to get sent to demon bootcamp again.
are the random events back in 07scape? i'd love to get sent to demon bootcamp again.
They never left OSRS, they were just made optional.

I just had the pillory guard ask for my consent before locking me up :v: EDIT: I actually got the Pillory guard a second time and selected "I'm not coming." just to see how he'd react. He doesn't say anything, he just fucks off. Though I'm pretty sure in Varrock I'm now wanted for resisting arrest on top of, y'know, the whole 'guard murder' thing.
just finished horror from the deep, it's a shame that quest bosses essentially always come down to "pray x and safespot behind some rocks" but i've got my god books now so we cool, minus the zammy one because it's about 2.4m for the page set right now and i only have 157k
Hopefully I can get 85 hunter in OSRS today, already exceeded my max level on my old main character of 83 hunter. I just wish it wasn't a pain in the arse to get spots.
I just had a rather profound moment while playing OSRS. I spent the entire night mining coal to make steel, I already had the iron. Many runs between SW Lumbridge swamp and Draynor bank later and I finally had all the coal I needed. And the sun was rising. Just peachy. So here I am in Falador trying to get these steel bars smelted, at 6:30 AM, I'm half dead from sleep deprivation and all of a sudden I remember something. This word just popped into my mind. This strange word that I had no idea of what it was or where it came from. I said it out loud a few times trying to place where it was from or where I had heard it. Was it the name of someone I used to know of online? Was it slang for an item in runescape that I had forgotten and only just remembered? A quick google search later and neither seemed to check out. And that's when it hit me: It used to be my friend's original password in Runescape. From at least seven years ago. After that memories just started flooding back. I wasn't sleepy anymore, I was wide awake and in a bit of shock that I was naturally remembering these things that have been buried in the back of my mind for the better half of a decade. I'm not even sure what to say now. I guess I should be thankful that I've now got the energy to smelt the rest of these bars then run over to Varrock and log out to prepare to smith them after I get some shut-eye. But wow.
is it really? i still have my completed zammy book, bout to cash that in.
Can't remove pages from a completed book.
is it really? i still have my completed zammy book, bout to cash that in.
it's actually more, it averages out to about 1.1m per page

Finally finished Elemental Workshop series. That's gotta be the worst questline in RS.
