It's why I'm so glad RS3 has automated a lot of the repetitive actions. Also are you playing RS 10 hours a day? How do you not suffer crippling boredom?
I dont know how I did it really. Guess I just had lots of free time and followed a schedule I made made it possible.
Finally finished Elemental Workshop series. That's gotta be the worst questline in RS.
I wouldn't say they're bad. the quests are kind of...out there. they didn't really get any sort of plot going beyond a "mysterious workshop by so and so" until the 3rd one, unfortunately that's when the series got strangely hard, like almost MEP2-levels of hard. it started to form the actual backstory from 2 onwards by mentioning Vitruvius then his assistant who pretty much became Alphonse Elric. If anything, i'd probably would complain about the whole Elemental Workshop armors. i mean sure initially the shield was useful for Wyvern breath, but every tier after that is just plain awkward. and wish that aside, Vitruvius would've have to be a Lunar Clan Mage mostly due to progressive retcons over the origins of Runecrafting in general. Originally the Wizard's tower was destroyed by Zamorakians due to the saradominists refusing to share their secrets, which doesn't make much sense there was now a Zamorakian segment of the Wizard Tower; the Red Mages, but this also changes Runecrafting to always being known and not at all a lost art. the destruction of the old tower was due to a demonic ritual accident, everyone was pretty much dead and dusted. but this new lore established that the only difficulty in gathering essence was the long trip, so the ritual allowed the creation of a focii for creating teleports. That's smoothed out, except for the Abyss miniquest, since somehow the connection of teleporting there has something to do with Runecrafting teleports in general, it might have been long before they established the mines being in Acheron. guess they could always use THAT as a manipulation of Straddling to an effect, so that appearing inside the Abyss was an unexpected failsafe, this would explain Solus Dellagar in Wanted! or they can just go with the whole Temple Knight theory that they've got a collection of History prior to the God Wars and secretly knows of things such as Daemonheim longer than any other mortals. Seriously, seems like a fluke that they knew that stuff from Daemonheim is enough to disrupt the Sea Slug's mind control, they already seem to have known about the GWD since Nestor Peringrine discovered it and left for south of the poison waste.
quote
[editline]8th July 2015[/editline] doesnt help that a lot of the story stuff hasnt been implemented into osrs
Yeah woo lore but seriously workshop is too much effort for shit gear
If there's one thing I hate other than the tedious amounts of clicking needed in Old School, it would be the awful pixelated text. I also have not finished the third Elemental Workshop in regular RuneScape, because I can't be bothered to figure out the slide puzzle.
Just doing some dungeoneering, and what's best, the fractite maul, spear or 2h? Is it also worth carrying a wand as well instead of some platelegs?
Highest tier melee weapon you have available and the best platebody you can use. Unless you have a Blood necklace or SSH. You can always bind Ranged/Magic for another loadout.
I have all 3, a fractice platebody, and a spinebeam wand. I've got 3 binding slots, and I'm F2P at the moment. My current load out is the spear, wand and platebody, just wondering if this is not the optimal loadout
IT PRINTS MONEY BIIIITCH
How many keys do you have?
first 500 shades yielded: and 282k not pictured [editline]10th July 2015[/editline] it took a few days of oil sanctifying and about a month of on-and-off shade killing to get it all together
You're gonna enjoy the moment where all you need to do is loot the chests after all that hard work Judging by the amount of shades and keys you have it's safe to say you're gonna get around 40m+ from all the chests and clues
40m+.. I've never had more than 2m :v:

Same goes for OSRS, where some of us feel more comfortable playing in. I'd urge everyone though that if your hands or arms start aching seriously just put a sock in it for a while.
According to old school reddit, 10 years ago farming was released on this day Happy Birthday farming. Let's go plant some potatoes or something.
Are the 2007 hosted on fucking windows 98s or something? Im lagging like crazy when playing. I know they are getting ddosed by some scriptkid, but the RS3 servers are running smoothly.
Are the 2007 hosted on fucking windows 98s or something? Im lagging like crazy when playing. I know they are getting ddosed by some scriptkid, but the RS3 servers are running smoothly.
RS3 brings in the dosh, so they get fancy servers.
Finally a worthwhile clue
Finally a worthwhile clue
i got a medium clue shortly after reading this and figured i'd go do it :// [editline]12th July 2015[/editline] i spent more on stamina potions than the value of the reward
How much does a Guthix Rune lg set usually go for on oldschool?
100-150k
100-150k
Damn, that's rough. I spent 1m+ on it before I stopped playing quite some time ago. Now I've come back and it's worth 1/10 of that. I guess I should sell it off before it drops even further.
yeah there was no demand for the cosmetic treasure trail items because essentially there's very few noobs playing 07 it's mostly people that are crazy for xp gains, so unless it has better stats than X item it's not going to sell well also they added a ton of other rune trim sets with the treasure trail update so that pushed prices down even further. the good thing about this though is I only had to pay 100k for a zamorak platebody to match my dragon platelegs

Any "rare" item like that comes back into a decent price zone eventually.
woo, just beat monkey madness with 1 def (35 combat) [thumb]http://i.imgur.com/1XbGO93.png[/thumb]
