What they didn't mention about this change was that this replaces the Quit button in ranked. So you can't quit ranked matches anymore.

To be honest, I don't like the new map. The orange side is too washed out, which makes it really hard for me to see at times and the walls are too transparent that you can't make them out unless you're next to them.

Beckwith Park has the same issue for me too, but it's not as bad as the new map.

I agree with you, also not a fan of the new map

also either it's a different size than the others or the boost position has been slightly altered, because if you spawn in the corners you can reverse perfectly into the big boost whereas you cannot do the same on the normal maps

I'm glad they're making improvements to making avatars work. Now Steam players just have a ? but leaderboards do show Steam avatars now.

Teammates who fuck up your shots annoy me so badly. Or teammates that just want to hit the ball, even if it's back towards your side of the pitch.

I'll not take a shot if it's just gonna hit it away from the opposing team's goal, but a lot of people I play with just smash into the ball whenever the chance pops up. I've had a fair few shots ruined cause of that.

This game is addictive and insanely fun, but it's so stressful too.

So I found out a new term today. Apparently if you sit in your goal while the ball is on your side of the field you are "camping." I also got called unamerican for having a ping higher than 50 :v:

Went 3-0 tonight on some 2v2. It was really helpful that we had a goalie tbh.

Also, something really good for anyone's game is patience. I can't tell you how many times people just drive the car under a ball bouncing high.

To be fair, that is pretty much the role of a goalie, and I'd rather have someone who sits in my goal all the time than not having someone protecting it when the other team tries to make a shot. I can't tell you how many times I've been scored on because the whole team decided to play offense with me on the other side of the field, leaving our goal wipe open in the process.

The developers have also said that doing such a thing is a viable strategy, so it's just something you need to learn to combat rather than complain about.

This was in 1v1 though so I didn't literally sit in the goal the entire game lol. I usually go back to the goal if it ever gets to my side so I can block any angled shots that might go in

It's solvable by demolishing the goalie, or at the very least hitting them to prevent them from making a block; which is what I do a lot. But the issue is when your team has someone who sits at the goal while the ball is at the other goal.
