This is me, i had someone nerd rage at me fucking hard because i kept on running into the goalie whilst my team mate gets the goal.

If its rolling to the goal, at an OK speed, then let it do its thing, dont try and hit it in, go for the goalie, works a lot better.

IF you aren't flying toward the goalie after centering from the corner you are probably doing something wrong. Unless the goal is open.

I love the music in the game. I wish it played during matches, instead of the background cheering noise.
Game is such a ridiculous time-waste. I love meeting decent players and forming teams via rematch.
Ended up making two friends today, a striker (like me, I prefer scoring goals, since I suck dick at defending) and a goalie (who is hands-down the best fucking goalie I've ever played with).
We all added each other on Steam, got a 10-win streak in normal matches then decided to play ranked, where the games were easy as hell at first, but once our skill level went up, we started having some really damn intense matches.
Been a really fun few hours and I can't wait to play with these 2 tomorrow, our teamwork is so satisfying when it works out, and the awesome moves we pull off have us all shouting on Skype. Defo recommend teaming up with friends in this game, ramps up the fun factor by 10.
Does anyone want to play Rocket League with me in around 10 minutes? Might be 30 as I might have to eat. I'm kinda rusty though.

Also, I notice that the higher the ranks, the more pissy people I meet. Why do some people take the game so seriously?
I've been playing with this random Czech guy on ranked doubles and we repeatedly owned all the way to silver together, basically without once exchanging any actual tactical information

Indeed, me and a mate come across this shit all the time even in normal.. its quiet the entire game then as soon as they score they shout random shit down the mic then when we one up them they proper try hard to beat us.

this is the reason you own so hard when you're with a mate, it's impossible to get mad at your inevitable failures and so you stay almost perfectly on your game the whole time

Its completely subjective, I love it, but its only cosmetics.
It's the price of a coffee, and I usually get coffee most days, so I just bought the DLC instead of a coffee and I'd say it's worth it. New cars are sexy and I've had tonnes of fun on this game, so if it supports the devs, I'm all for it.
I really wish they'd add modifications to cars, though. Like different spoilers, coloured lights, stickers etc. Also, the function to move the camera with the mouse is a must-have. Sometimes ball cam leaves you oblivious to your surroundings, and turning ball-cam off makes it almost impossible to track the ball. Having a mouse-controlled cam would be great cause you could be offensive (hitting other players) whilst also managing to keep up with the ball.

Not really. I like the new paint, but it's not really worth buying unless you like the developers and want to support them. Which was the major reason of buying it.
That and being able to get all the achievements, though I'm having trouble getting Drift King to unlock.

The burnout turbo and the cars are cool, but the DLC is pretty expensive if you ask me. Just cosmetics so don't get it unless you really want, you are not getting too much. I'll most likely go on sale eventually anyway.

The only reason i bought it is that i feel the developers have made such a brailliant game and they also managed to impress me with cars and football.... I HATE CARS AND FOOTBALL.

For a while I thought that the camera was just locked in place, but then I saw some people playing with controllers who could turn their car cameras. I'm still doing pretty well even without having that camera mobility but naturally there are those awkward moments when you accidentally ram into someone on your team. Hopefully they'll figure out how to patch it in.
I always use ball cam unless im going for a boost or ramming a player. I don't really have any trouble lining up shots and it let's me concentrate on reaction time rather than having to find the ball
I really need to get used to Ball Cam. I always use it to start off, but after that i don't bother.
I use it when im running along side the ball or im on one side of the pitch and im boosting towards the other to get a good smack on the ball. But thats about it. I really dont find it an issue spotting or timing to hit the ball underneath me because of that whole white area circle.

I got this for free on the PS4 and i've put probably close to 100+ hours into it so I feel kind of obligated to buy the DLC and give them some of my money
