I mostly play 1v1, so it's always personal. I feel bad sometimes when I win, and I try to keep myself from being soft, which is hard.

1v1 is the worst because it's always personal

I don't know why you got boxes for not handling losses well, it's such a personal issue.

But with friends, either online and local, I can chill out a lot and laugh about stupid shit and losses. It's mostly a personal thing and not everyone reacts the same to losing.

After a year or two playing a competitive game every night after work with the same people; friends become mortal enemies. We did manage to talk through most of it. Either way, that much of one game really burnt me out, I play a much healthier amount of games now, well, before rocket league came out.

No game is worth losing friends over and that's a fact.

There's actually something to be said for a group that does something seriously competitive together. It's not that you are putting friendships behind winning, if everyone is just as serious about winning it can be a really rewarding experience, but it also inevitably comes with some arguing, but as long as everyone is self aware enough not to cross a line it's usually ok.

You can be serious about winning and not get into arguments that ruin friendships

I really like the "bass drop" sound effect you get when you do a shot on goal. It really just makes you clench your buttcheeks

I've realized my biggest gripe with the game is when people don't push the ready button and just wait out the timer between matches. And for some reason, it's almost always PSN guys. Sucks because most people don't want to wait. Had an excellent game yesterday, evenly matched teams, aerial shots and aerial saves, it was awesome. We voted for a rematch, but one PSN guy decided he didn't want to press ready and everyone left because they didn't want to wait 45 seconds.

I've played this on the PS4 to rank 21. Now I bought it on Steam to support them and to play with my friend who doesn't have a PS4. And I noticed this game has native support for DS4 on the PC! First I assumed it wasn't so and fooled Windows to think the DS4 is an Xbox 360 -controller. Then I ran out of battery and had to plug it in. This nullified the fooling-process and the button icons turned to PS-buttons! Fucking amazing!

Rank 38 and almost 900 in 3v3. Hoping to get gold in standard either today or tomorrow but playing with randos is so damn difficult :v:

I used to suffer from headaches sometimes when playing certain online fps games for hours but that was due to dehydration and sleep deprivation. But yeah i would go get that checked out if i were you
