The invisible points are just the points that were visible pre-season. Them reseeding the MMR to your pre-season score were so RP placements were more accurate and made more sense.
Also, it only did this for RP that was smaller than it should have been. So if you have improved beyond your pre-season MMR and your RP properly correlates, you shouldn't be affected. In other words, reseeding only brought players up. This makes it easier for the lower players who actually have a low MMR, because previously people that were supposed to be in II or III subdivisions were all jumbled into the I subdivisions.
My problem with it is that you go up and down random amounts of points when you win / lose.
It somehow seems to be biased too, I usually go up by 4-6 if i win and down by 10 if i lose.
Why is it not a static number?
Also I've no idea what these seeds you're talking about are.

Seeds are where you are placed based on your MMR from preseason. If you had an MMR equivalent to the average MMR of players in Gold 2 then you were "seeded" into the Gold 2 division. Everyone was seeded into Bronze 1 / Silver 1 / Gold 1 at first because the only thing they had to go off of for seeding was previous rankings and MMR. Now that they had the average MMR for players within a certain division they could reseed people to better fit where they should be (a lot fewer vets and experts in bronze / silver 1).
They determine how many points you gain / lose by averaging MMR of both teams and taking the difference. Depending on how large it is can affect how many points you gain or lose. If you get paired against a team with a significantly higher MMR then you are going to lose less points, but will gain a lot more if you win. Likewise if you lose against someone who has a lot lower of an MMR than you, you are going to lose a lot more points and would only gain a few if you won. For an average match amount you're only going to be looking at 8-10 points per match.

the guy in that song has mega-lisp syndrome.
also, servers keep fucking up for me.
I don't hear it, but I've listened to a lot of Justice so I might be deaf to it now.

there's a psyonix post on steam, read that.
you'll lose more rp if the person you lost against had a lower mmr. you'll gain less if you win against them. goes the other way too

Probably going to hold off on picking this up. I don't necessarily regret buying the first DLC, but I don't think I would do it again (especially for just another couple of cars I probably won't use).

I really like the decals and boosts from the first DLC though, the second DLC looks kinda meh.
I just want the trolly bug car

i'm getting it for the trails and paint types
and rocket league is my MP game of the year so I wanna support it at any chance
DLC's like 3.99. It's hardly much.
Yeah, after a week of playing ranked on and off and getting to like 230RP I think I'm already done
The ranked community for RL is mostly terrible and it just isn't as fun compared to just playing MM, I had a match wherein we went 0-0 for the first 2 and a half minutes and the moment we got scored on, I saw a forfeit vote start

It's a love/hate thing for me. I like ranked because I sometimes get to play with skilled players, but the grind to a bracket with mostly skilled players fucking sucks. I'm in Silver 1 now, not extraordinarily high, but even then there's people showing up in games who are pure shit. As in, self-scoring terrible passing ball chasing miss almost every attempted hit type of shit. Inevitably one or more of them ends up on my team, making the grind to higher levels extremely slow. It's pure luck of the draw, win one, lose one, get nowhere.
At what point do you no longer have to tolerate those kinds of players? What bracket do I have to grind to?

everyone has off days man, even in higher brackets you'll find people who aren't doing so well
My ranked matches usually go like this:
First I play a couple of casual standards. Usually win by like 5 goals. Go to ranked. Lose 5 times in a row. Quit. :v:

I understand when people make bad shots and stuff, but there's a big difference between an off day and just being outright bad. I might miss a ton of shots on an off day, but I won't be chasing the ball like a dog and doing whatever I can to hit it no matter what direction myself or the ball are going. I'm talking players who don't even understand the basic fundamentals of the game.
Maverick, why not team up with people? I have a go-to buddy I always play with, he's an insanely good goalie. We usually stomp in ranked, with the occasional losses against real good teams (or just luckily angled shots that whizz into our goal).
If I'm playing double and I meet a really good player who I am insync with, I'll add em on steam and we'll play a few games and have a blast. Then I end up deleting them a few days later and meeting someone else. Much better than playing solo cause you always end up going against premade teams.
I have a buddy I play with and tend to do well doing so, that's when my rank actually advances by a noticeable amount. I only get to play for a few games here and there due to the hectic schedule that is the military, so it's tough to find people I can consistently play with. My buddy is in the healthcare industry so our hours are equally shit, only real reason why we get to play together.

What bothers me more than anything is not people missing shots or not doing their part, but everyone gets competitive when you're playing in a mode where your MMR is being recorded in some form
For Rocket League, there being my ranking at state doesn't do anything for me, I actually just have more fun playing normal MM
Have been playing constantly with a buddy but due to poor internet connection I only play offline. 14 straight championships on All-star difficulty in the season mode. Have actually grinded to veteran through seasons.

I made a small video of some shitty goals me and my friends have done.

I tried to cut all the clips properly, yet one goddamn second of the car resetting remains, dangit!

So I wasn't the only one suddenly playing music from Undertale in other games :v:
