So I wasn't the only one suddenly playing music from Undertale in other games :v:
Nigga I posted a video a week ago using Sans' theme
Step it up bruh
Did a tiny compilation just now:

The parts with muted game audio are muted because Shadowplay picks up music and Skype conversations when I'm playing.
Oh, and obviously this just shows the 5% where I actually don't fuck up the things.
What a silly match.

How many points did you nab for being in a 2v3 ranked match? Did you get extra cause of the abandoned teammate or?
The ranked points reward system seems so inconsistent, but I got 16 out of that.

Winning 2v3s gives you extra point's for a win. I got 14 last night for winning one
I lost like 28 for losing a 1v3
Went from 534 to 501 tonight due to a string of losses brought upon me by a single man. There was one dude the system kept putting on my team, the same guy every single game, who would choke like crazy near the end of every match. He'd do shit like knock us out of the way before clean shots, self-score (even dribbling the ball all the way down the field the wrong way and panic hit it into the goal), and whiff hard on easy shots.
Had to stop before I lost the Silver II spot I earned today. Sucks how the matchmaking system tends to put the same group of people in matches at any given time (probably just because the way it syncs up with people choosing to find a new match immediately after the current one is over) so if you end up with someone shit, you either gotta deal with them or take a break and hope you get in with a different group of people.

If I end up in the same match with a shit player immediately after losing my previous one with them, I wait a couple minutes at the end of the 2nd match to hopefully let him get put in a game so I can get queued up with someone else. I've noticed if you're in the same match twice in a row, it usually tends to keep happening for a couple more matches. Really annoying.
Hovering between 790~860's is giving me such a rage boner for platinum rank. I just need to win like 1 more game out of every 3 to reliably move up. (I think platinum is 950? 1000?)
(this is solo standard though, pretty much the lottery of game modes)
I've given up with Ranked matches now.
I got to 400 ranked last night (starting from fresh) and then played about 10 games this morning. lost every single one with stupid teammates that own goal me each time.
Cant remember what im on now but it's pretty much back at square one.
Sorry I've kind of neglected this thread guys, is there anything you want me to update the OP with?

If only.
This game hates me.
What i love doing is going on a "Chaos" match and just picking on one person to blow up all the time (mostly the goalie)

How does it hate you? There are only so many variables beyond bad teammates that can affect your rank.
If Glitchman is offering to team up with you to help you get up in rank, I don't see how you'd lose matches unless you're a terrible player (I'm sure Glitchman will play good enough to trump the enemy completely).
Only problem I see is it's a bit of a waste of time, since you'll hit Gold rank and realise you're waaaaay out of your depth. Without a skilled player holding your hand, you'll just get dropped back down to where you should be.
Bad teammates only affect a game so much. If you're doing your job right, you should typically win. I see what kinda playstyle my teammate has, if he's aggressive, I'll mainly defend goals. Enemy won't usually get many goals in and after a few minutes, my teammate is bound to get a goal (or me with a longshot across the map cause those two are by our goal). If he's defensive, I play aggressive. Being a good teammate means complementing the other person's playstyle.

One thing that has reaaaaally helped me win matches is to stop being so gung-ho and making stupid attempts at ball shots: the types where you think you won't hit the ball, but go for it anyways, and end up way back in a bad position whilst they just dribble the ball into your goal.
Now, I'm always playing offense / defense, and trying to see where the ball is going to go. If it looks like the enemy team will steal the ball and make a run on our goal, I'll stay back to better defend. If the enemy team has fucked up a goal shot against us and are upside down / trapped in our goal, I'll take the ball all the way out and try and score on them. It's made games more enjoyable. I don't do dumb shit any more like contesting the ball in a tricky situation (knowing if I fuck up, they have a clear run to our goal). Instead, I'll just drive back to our own goal and wait until there's a better opportunity.

In solo standard even if you're super good, a bad team (which is picked randomly) will still give you less than 50/50 odds of winning, considering they might have 3 good players. That is why I have been hovering in the high 700's and low 800's, the amount of times I win balances out with the amount of times I am going against the odds. These odds are a limitation of my personal skill, which can still go up, but it's a long long grind.

Oh, I never play 3v3. I'm always doubles. So in my case, even with a bad teammate, unless the other team is ridiculously good, you can still pull through.
After nearly being Gold 3 in everything I can firmly say that if you want to make significant gains then you need to be able to hard carry your team. That''s not to say give up on teamwork but you need to be able to play significantly better than the opposing team consistently.
Met an amazing guy in doubles and we added each other and teamed up. Won 9 straight games and lost the 10th and called it a night. I went from Gold 1 (about a quarter way through) to Gold 2 (half way through). Pretty fucking awesome night.
You know those people you meet that you just work really well with? It's like we knew where and what the other person would do and scored sick goals because of it.
Going into unranked now feels so weird. After winning a couple a rounds in solo and regular 3 v 3 I joined an unranked standard match as a cooldown round. We won 12 to 1. I felt bad.
Unranked doubles is my go-to warmup session. Dominating regulars feels so good and I dunno why but the positive mental boost it gives you defo helps in your ranked games.
I usually play really really badly my first few games, but warming up in unranked gets me back to my usual self. Plus it's really fun stomping people.

Won on all-star 1v4. :flex:
I've seen videos of this game; is it worth getting/playing? many game-breaking/irritating bugs?

It's well worth the $20. Haven't encountered any bugs - let alone game-breaking ones - but I've only put about 4 hours into the game.
[editline]11th October 2015[/editline]
It's a real good "I have 30 minutes to kill, let me get some matches in" game.
I have over 40 hours on this game. It's addicting as hell. 10 times better if you play with friends though.
Well worth $20 if you like sports games.
I bought after seeing a bunch of gifs, expecting to return it after it got old after an hour
now I'm 115 hours in and it's still fun as hell
I have over 370 hours in this game and I don't intend to stop playing any time soon. It's well worth the money imo. The concept is so simple and yet you just keep coming back for more. As far as bugs go, outside of maintenance and the change between game seasons I haven't really run into any bugs.

It's worth 20$ and a DLC but otherwise you might get bored quickly, it's still football at it's core.
I have 200 hours and regularly play with friends and teams with no stop in sight. Worth every penny
