My biggest anger in the game is when its a really really even match, like 2-2 and its been in overtime for a good 3 minutes, both teams are really good! But then they manage to get a super lucky goal by a few wall bounces or something. And they end up posting "EZ". And i'm there just like. Was it really THAT easy?! REally???? REAAAALALLLLLLLYYYY?

Fuckin hell, found the most pathetic losers ever just this morning We were still 0-0, and I noticed the ball was going straight to the goal, slowly enough to be blocked by someone if he hurried. There were like 2 guys near the goal. They took too long to move, so 1 second before the ball hit the goal, they just fucking ragequitted. It's like as soon as you get scored once, it's game over, can't win, might as well give up. I swear to god this kind of people shouldn't even be playing video games at all if they are acting like babies when losing a point.

I want to buy a dlc pack. Which one should i get? Revenge of the battle cars or supersonic fury?

just did a bit more of unranked to try and work some techniques. i got the timing for the front flip boost down to hit the ball during a face off more often.

The cars look better and I personally can use them better. The scarab throws me off too much, and the other one isn't as aesthetically pleasing as the fury cars.

Supersonic fury cars are good. One of the new wasteland cars, the muscle car, I think it's the Ripper, is really good as well. Feels like an Octane with more mass and a slightly looser handbrake.

Supersonic Fury cars definitely beat the Takumi and Dominus. The Scarab is nigh on useless, worst car I've ever played with. Pretty much impossible to save goals with due to it's tiny size. Zippy is alright, I play it occasionally, but not that much. I'm hooked on that big beefy tank son-of-a-bitch car in the new SF DLC, would highly recommend that over all others. I wish momentum and inertia were a thing though. It's embarrassing when a tiny car slams into you and blows you up, or when you head-on slam into a car half your size but you both end up going the exact same distance. I've noticed the big beefy tank car feels like it has so much mass, but against other cars, it's basically identical? I'd love to be able to smash smaller cars out the way and watch them fly. [editline]4th December 2015[/editline] It's also an amazing car for sniping balls across the map into their goal. The wide front makes shooting straight balls a cakewalk.

Mass definitely comes into play. The DeLorean is heavy as fuck, getting tapped by that thing will send you across the map and it's great at pounding the ball straight through blocks. Maybe it's more a hitbox thing or whatever, but different cars definitely feel like they're different weights. That new beefy sonbitch might not be as heavy as it looks, I don't think it is supposed to be a heavy bruiser like the van. Moreso, a hybrid between the van and a lighter car. The hitbox of a large vehicle, but the handling and weight of something a bit smaller. I noticed it doesn't handle as much like shit and flies somewhat well compared to vehicles of equal size.

Jump impulse is actually tied to mass according to the UnrealScript, so since they all jump the same they all have the same mass.

Interesting. I wonder how they manage to make some cars "feel" heavier than others then. Pretty clever stuff.

So i had a guy on my team (really wish i could name and shame him) when it started, he was in front and i was in goal. He didnt boost off at the start so i had to quickly react and boost to it and i went "??" and he just did the whole "I got it!" thing. After we got the first goal, i went for the ball and he boosted into me and he did a team chat saying "Please don't block me"..... I already assumed he was going to be a dick. Anyway. The game continued for a bit longer, i was dribbling the ball, got close to the goal and he tried to do an aerial shot but missed even though i was lined up for it and i did the "Dude?!?! I had it?!" and he just went "WHY THE FUCK DID YOU DO THAT?" to me?! LIKE WTF?! He blamed me for it? Anyway, the game continues with this dickweed. The score is 3-1 to us. I scored one goal, he scored 2. I bumped into him maybe twice now as we both went for the ball at the same time, he's getting pissy that i "ALWAYS BUMP INTO HIM". Its the last 30 seconds of the game and the score is 3-2. I have a perfectly lined up shot of the ball. I went for it, the guy then aerials in to hit it which makes it bounce over the goal and bounce behind me which i then try to save it with a jump but unavoidably miss and hes there like "OMG!" and then puts on his push to talk saying "FOR FUCK SAKE GREELEY YOU'RE SO USELESS". They end up getting a goal because it bounced behind us and gave them an easy ass shot. 3-3 and this guy is still blaming me for shit. I decide just to fuck with him now to piss him off since hes being a whiney little child. I smash into him about 2 maybe 3 times, enough to let the other team get one extra goal. Going "xoxoxoxox" and this is when he is nerd raging like a fucking child saying "LEARN TO FUCKING PLAY THE GAME JESUS" "GO PLAY TETRIS SINCE YOU'RE SO USELESS" "LOOK AT THE AMOUNT OF POINTS IVE GOT" (he got 100 points more than me, mostly from clear's) The enemy team was just like "Mate, you're a proper cunt" and at the end of the game they were just like "gg greeley". So the rule here guys is. Don't be a cunt teammate. It was so worth losing to make a point.

I know he was acting like a total asshole but for you to start bumping into him cause he's throwing a sperg fit is pretty shitty too. I'd have just ignored the douchebag and started playing more defensively if he was being an overbearing piece of shit, rather than fighting him for the ball and leaving us open to goals. Still though, I really can't wait for the report function to be put in the game. So many dickheads are gonna change their attitude once the bans roll out.

Hopefully he'll change in the future. Not to mention, their goal they scored was inevitable. We possibly would have won anyway if he wasn't such a ball hog and stopped me from getting 2 goals because of his own selfish needs.

The only shitty teammates I've encountered so far are point whores who try to ram me for "stealing" their goal when I can get it in faster.

Yeah, there's no such thing as stealing a goal in a team game like this. Whoever can get it in the fastest should be doing so.

If you know for 100% that you can get a goal with your shot and there is an enemy coming, thats fine. But if the ball is going straight for the goal, no enemy team around and you boost in, then its a pretty cuntish thing to do. And the excuse "I didn't know if they were around or not" is not an excuse, its easy to see if they are around.

To add to that, it's a cuntish move to knock your teammate off the ball so you can get the goal. I had an easy shot lined up and I was pushing the ball in because there was no defense, only to have a teammate boost up behind me, knock me in the side, then continue pushing the ball the last ten feet.

Gizmo is the most underrated car it has just OKAY turning and sliding but it's hitbox is stupid and broken. Very easy to dribble the ball without it popping up over you, but also easy to finagle the ball above you for the pop shots at the end of dibbles. If that makes any sense. Breakout is a pretty expert-level car, it's very twitchy and you need to be accurate since it has such a slim hitbox. Octane is average white bread milk toast for everyone all-around car

I liked using the Breakout when I focused on precision shooting, the flat front lets you control exactly where the ball is going. However, I'm not a fan of the low profile aspect, I found the ball flying right over me by a hair happening way too frequently. Octane was my waifu but I've switched over the Ripper now that it's out.
