It's a common problem with some controllers, but not as much with others.

Any of you lot able to tell which antenna the locked one is? I'm pretty sure I have all the common items but the other uncommons dont appear in the menus so I have no idea [IMG]http://i.imgur.com/hJ4ufAK.png[/IMG]

It's unlocked by doing the konami code during the splash screens. up up down down left right left right b a start. Or O X start on a ps controller.

I've given up caring about my rank. I played about 10 games last night. Won 5, 3 of them with points over 1000+ didn't move up rank or division at all. Lost 5 in a row, me being better than my team mate, having 500 points+. Moved down a 2 divisions then went down to Challenger 2. The annoying thing is that those 5 games that we lost, i did really well (minus one game where i barely got any points, had a ball-hogger for a team mate) but my partner either did super shit or made very critical errors. Especially one of them where my team mate just didn't move at the start of every kick-off for a good 5-10 seconds, and we lost 2-7 because they scored about 4 goals off the bat from kick-off. And another guy i did about 8 set-up shots for and he's there all the way back at our goal collecting boosts. I'm tired.

I haven't had an early PS4 controller that has been reported to have problems, but people have had this issue with sticks wearing down for a long time (pre ps4) and I've never, ever had the problem. I think some people just don't use them right and rub the sticks causing wear.

My mates PS4 sticks are completely fine and he's had it since launch and plays it obsessively.

Well I certainly don't play mine obsessively, but my original PS4 controller has worn down just like in that picture. I believe it also has to do with me playing lots of Rocket League, Resogun and Driveclub, which all rely on heavy analogue stick use. My PS3 controllers didn't do that over the course of 10 years though, so obviously the PS4 ones are less durable.

Playing 10 games unranked was fucking miserable. It was like playing with little kids. Got stuck in Rising Star, dunno how good that is. Felt like those games weren't a fair representation of skill at all, people were making self-goals and ballchasing like mad. Can I just be in Gold 2 again.

Finally got the game thanks to a generous friend, and I'm already having a ton of fun. Unlike most competitive games I've played, I don't get mad as fuck when things don't go my way, probably because 5 minutes per match is quick enough that no match feels permanent. Now, should I ever go into ranked, that will probably change, but at this point I probably won't (I'm still using kb+m, for christ's sake). Overall, definitely gonna put some hours into this. Can't wait for the March Madness update, though my airshots are still pretty poor. I'm gonna guess it's free DLC like the hockey one? Either way I probably will put some money into the game someday.
