Seems like we're getting four new cars in total on July 18th and the old Underpass map has gained a personality; Neo Tokyo, which comes out on June 20th.

I'm a little bumblasted that Collector's Edition are getting these way earlier, but I wonder if buying this would give me all future cars for free or if it only includes these four cars.

up the bitrate of your webms, if you're gonna do 1080p rocket league webms you should have at least 8000kbps as your bitrate, or reduce it to 720p and use something like 5000-7000 kbps

watching that was amazing. the way you predict ball movement was awesome. your intercepts and saves as well, I fucking hate you but love you at the same time.

I really miss RL but I got fed up cause I plateau'd for a good month or two. I used to be one rank away from Champion and would slaughter in most of my games, but then I went on a losing streak and getting back up was a nightmare. I went from being really good to sucking ass and it just sapped so much enjoyment when 90% of the games I played I'd lose. I'm now stuck in the first rank of blue and no matter how hard I try I can't get back up.
Woo, just before the season ends I reached my highest ranking yet.

I think the issue is with the ranking system. Once you drop to a certain point, it's literally impossible to move up. I'm rising star in doubles and solo standard, but my standard rank is consistently dropping into the lower challenger ranks. It just gets to a point where you're paired up with people so bad, winning and losing is more luck of the draw than anything.

Being inconsistent at this game is suffering...
I got to challenger 2 last season and I did reasonably well there. Now I come back to get a new rank, win first two matches, get matched with people with blue/pink trails. It was pretty difficult but I wasn't just dead weight. Then I lose two and get matched with prospect 1. Ever since that 5th game, I did terribly and in the end I got placed in prospect 1 div 5. Time to grind back my rank, I guess. Got to see a rocketeer in game, which was nice.

edit: Seems losing changes your rating more than winning, taking into account glitchman's post. Also the new map is cool but tricky to get used to the elevated parts.
edit2: Seems that this reset set everyone's rating at 0. Each rank has a rating bracket. Thus, everybody getting low ranks means nothing except that we haven't played enough to get our true rank back since we just don't have enough points for it. According to a random reddit post, kronovi got challenger 1. Don't get discouraged if your new rank is lower than what you had in season 2!

Unranked matches are the fuckin cesspool of RL. I hate this shit so much. I've won 5 out of 7 games, and every single fucking game I've had 1000+ points and my teammate? below 300. They miss constantly, clear open goals that I've given em nice slow passes they miss, when they're in goal, they'll run out and challenge two enemies halfway across the field.
I can't wait to get this over and done with and just get my rank. I really hope I don't get what happens to you. I went against a silver guy (basically the shit tier I can't remember the name) and he was playing like a champ. maybe it was you ;)

Oh, not to mention a game we were losing two goals cause my teammate made dumb mistakes (I hate playing the blame game but the only way we were remotely getting close to scoring goals was me going out and shooting, so he was on his own defending after I'd missed a shot). No biggie, 30 seconds left. I nail us two really close goals. Overtime, my teammate runs out of goal to go up against both enemy teammates whilst I'm fucked upside down on the side of the wall, instead of waiting for me to come back him up. We lost it, and it would have been such an easy game.
