Bought the Rocket League Collector Edition on PC after I realized that the only reason I'm keep up my PS+ subscription was to play Rocket League. It runs like a dream, no vibration though which is annoying. If anyone wants to play sometime, add me on steam!

4v4 is never tolerable. Even when you're playing with a full 4 on teamspeak.

Wanted to relax a little from ranked, as my teammate is visiting family and isn't able to play. I hop in a 3v3 game (unranked). I've got a console guy and a Steam guy on my team, and the enemy is premade team. I figured "This'll be chill, just play to have fun and not go super tryhard". Enemy team scores 1 goal and then the trash talk begins: "don't make me laugh, a legend and a veteran? pfft". I figured if he was gonna bring titles into it, I may as well play properly like my title suggests. I shat all over them. Treat it like a ranked game and at times it was basically 1v3, cause the console guy on my team was next to useless... He'd drive in goal when I was there, and end up being upside down before fixing himself and bumping into me trying to get out. He'd do this for no reason even if the ball wasn't near our goal. The Steam guy was pretty good. Anyways, we beat them in 3 games. The first game when they trash talked, and then two games after. Felt really, really good dunking on them super hard and having more points than their entire team combined. Cue the guy who originally trash talked: "Legends ruin the game, fuck you!". Great logic. Players who play the game a lot ruin the game, huh? Fuck people who are that toxic, for real. Was funny cause after our first win, I bet they'd ragequit within two games, and they did. I think me saying that is the only reason they played the last two matches.

I'm always surprised when people try to bring that level into things. I've seen so many trash players at high levels, the title means absolutely nothing to me. Amazing how there's people who still don't realize playtime =/= skill.

Pretty sure there was a bug during the first couple of months that let you instantly get to Rocketeer or something ridiculous. You could just play a custom game with no bots and glitch the ball in the goal. You'd get crazy fast levels. Title means jack shit, and so do points (in a game). What's most important is the Goals / Assists / Saves / Shots counter. They're more accurate to show a player's skill, but even then it's not 100% reliable. I've had games where myself or a teammate has played really well and basically because of how they played, it was the difference between us winning or losing, but the scoreboard at the end shows them (or myself) with low points. It's silly.

Good thing it wasn't me, i trash talk before the game starts (for example, whattup you sissy faggots, or "name" is a cunt), and only if we take the lead or win. Then again, i also don't play seriously. My friend adam and i just go pubstomping as best as we can, then we'll switch to ranked and vice-versa.

When I play rocket league it's usually whilst I'm skyping with a friend in the same party. Sometimes we'll get people who start trash talking, to which I follow up with "YOU ARE DISHONABRU, TENNO HENKA, BANZAIII!" bushido samurari replies. The salt flows well either way.

i'm not a fan of crates, but no market and cosmetics only is fine by me.

The crate system is still pretty bollocks. It's pretty much built to milk as much money as they can from you, and I'd much rather just buy the skins/cars/items directly rather than gamble on some virtual slot machine. It's nice that they'll let you disable it, but it's still a shit.

Rocket League has definitely become one of my favorites game over the last few months. Even if you're not playing well it has great capacity for amusement and funny/lucky goals.
