Alright so on amazon prime yesterday there were some good deals on, one was a cheap 15 month ps+ subscription. So I got that and then bought RL for my gf on ps4 as the goty edition was only about £9. Woops :v: On a side note, trying to play this on ps4 after using an xbox 360 controller on PC for years feels quite weird.

Damn this game is cancerous this early in the morning. In the span of 3 minutes of a 3v3 game I had three AFK teammates, two guys who couldn't hit the ball, and a opposing team that was trying to shit-talk me even though I was doing great. One AFK asshat was just spamming trade requests mid-game. Like, no, fuck off.

How can I teach myself to do those cool twisting, turning aerial goal shots? My friend does them so well, but my brain can't manage it. I always attack the ball and just turn my entire car, instead of twisting it in the air. I just can't wrap my head around it. It's frustrating cause there's times where being able to twist my car and smack the ball with the roof of my car would get me a goal, instead of smacking it with my wheels (for the same down angle) and having it drop so slowly.

Do you have air roll mapped to its own button? That alone makes air rolling much easier imo. I can't do much fancy air rolling stuff but I have gotten a lot better at it since I gave it its own button.

24 hour ban for verbal harassment. utter shite. ~800 hours of playtime and not even a warning? salt in the wound is the fact that the only people I verbally shit on are assholes who instigate it by being toxic and telling me to get cancer. but reporting only screengrabs a small portion of the chatlog, so it shows my reply but not his. 10/10

Just don't flame people, simple as that. I always report people who flame others in RL, regardless of whether or not they started the argument.

I think it's all crappy management of the underlying problem. Sent in a support ticket to Psyonix saying I'm not arguing the ban, and I'm happy for the ban to stay, but I want to see the chatlog that was evidence enough for my ban. I was 100% sure the chatlog they'd send me would just prove it was some salty asswipe who had told me previously to get cancer / go fuck my mum / burn in a fire, but the awful report system only grabs about 8 lines of text. So a lot of people trash talk, and then spam "Savage!" or whatever, and then your response is the only thing that shows up in the report. You can also get a 24 / 72 / week / perma ban if you jokingly tell your friend ingame to "get fucked" or "eat a dick", if someone decides to report that, and I'm sure a lot of people are going to report it just to be little shits. I've been sat in Discord playing with a friend and have jokingly said in all chat to "report my shitty teammate for stealing my goals" but now that it's a bannable offense? What a joke.

The underlying problem is that people will act like dicks no matter what you do. I'm sure the report system could be better, but the very easy way of not getting reported is to not type stuff that's bannable. I recommend you to just turn off opponents chat entirely if it really gets to you.

but that's the thing, opponent's shit talking me doesn't get to me. it's the fact this guy specifically reported me as one last kick in the teeth, and I was banned for it whilst he most likely got away scot free (cause I don't report people for shit talking). only time I ever report someone is if they start own goaling cause they're throwing a tantrum. it's such an abusable system it ain't even funny
