I don't usually have connection problems in games but jesus christ rocket league has taken the cake man. Every game now I'm spiking to ~180 ping on US servers and I live in the US. It's not on my end cause everything starts getting laggy only when I'm on a Rocket League server. Otherwise everything's fine. I mean jeez it's starting to become unplayable for me.

This game is so fucking good. I thought it would get old pretty quick but it's just so damn fun and easy to have a few rounds here and there.

And I'm in Europe.

It's not the actual servers, because it's fine for others.

How do you deal with people who leave a match? I usually "switch" teams to help any lone players :v: I try to goal keep for them and stuff, and I even start scoring goals against my own team. I'm not sure if that's dickish against my team. I'm talking about 3 v 1 matches, if we are winning I just join the other side for a bit.

I continue playing the match, though i feel bad for them. Hopefully the next update will rectify this behavior, as they're introducing a leaving penalty in ranked games.

I really don't even mind when people leave, often stuff might just come up or maybe they simply got bored, I hope the penalty isn't too bad, I hope it's just a 10 minute block or something like that. I had a 3v3 match where both teammates left after the opposite team scored three goals and wrote in chat "well boys, I'm riding this one out" and then it became basically Braveheart as one of the opponents wrote "god speed my son" and we continued 3v1 until the end :v: i didn't score, but it was fun and the game ended 7-1

I'm kinda dissapointed that the thread isn't very active, there's not a whole lot to talk about though, but I was kinda expecting the Facepunch community to be a tiny bit bigger.

I've had the game crash on me after I alt-tab a few times. And it just crashed on me right when I start a ranked 3v3.

A trashtalk guide should go over sheer psychological warfare, for example, passive aggressiveness, very subtle sarcasm, and undermining the opponents goals or your own blunders, very subtly. If not done with the utmost subterfuge it will not work against anyone that is trained in the arts of skilled trashtalk detecting. Small, directed jabs is the way to go. I play a lot of Dota that's proof enough I know what I'm talking about when it comes to trash talk.

I don't want to brag, but as an author of a top-3 guide for Rocket League, I think I have more authority on the matter.

What's your guy's ranked skill score anyway? Mine's 255 for duel, 526 for doubles, and 39 (wow eheheh) for standard.

By the way, I'm looking for someone to play dual ranked with, I got like 1800(?) rating in solo ranked, it's kind of bad but hopefully it's fine to find someone to play with. I haven't really played solo ranked in a while, I was level 8 or something, and I only played for one day, so meh. Anyone else like to watch a movie while playing Rocket League? It's really relaxing, helps me hit those big aerial hits. And I've managed to watch so many new movies! Watched The Godfather last, there were no subtitles but luckily it wasn't a problem, I speak Sicilian after all. I kind of wish there were harder training practices, the all star aerial is a joke, I wanted some serious practice at completely unexpected angles and speeds but it's just common ones. And don't even get me started on the other ones.

Anyway it's supposed to be reduced a lot in the next patch and they plan to keep working on it.
