My favorite was still "You fail to make the meat sandwich, and waste some materials." Like what the FUCK.
My favorite was still "You fail to make the meat sandwich, and waste some materials." Like what the FUCK.
Well, you know when you're like, buttering the bread with shitty, frozen butter and it fucking tears up the bread slices? v:v:v
My favorite was still "You fail to make the meat sandwich, and waste some materials." Like what the FUCK.
Imagining a dude sitting on the floor trying to put meat on bread but the meat keeps ripping and the bread is falling apart and the guy just keeps getting more and more frustrated
It is hilarious how inept a basic human is with 0 in all skills. Its like they were kept in a sterile box their whole life. Failing to make a cup of tea and such.
Hey look what I found. And here's what was in the drivers seat. I expanded the back of my RV with a closed-off room, I put the chemistry set in there
So the driving skill appears to have been slightly reworked. A low driving skill no longer makes you randomly lose control when driving at any speed, instead it impacts how fast you can go before you start losing control and reduces penalties from shooting while driving.
Anything new in experimental in the last 3 months?
They had it so that clothing from zombies had a "filthy" modifier that provided a moral penalty when worn, though that's been removed. Also there's an experimental 3D vision that lets zombies and such see up and down to go along with the experimental "tall" buildings. Strength now directly modifies how much total HP you have. So in addition to the bars assigned to your different limbs you've got a total HP value that I think is split between the limbs. This might have been in the game before but I don't ever remember the game giving me an exact HP without the self-aware trait. Probably a lot more changes but they don't have an actual change log for experimental. Closest thing is looking at commits on github, of which there are hundreds and mostly bugfixes.
Hope I'm not the only one playing with classic zombies because the specials are really dumb
Hope I'm not the only one playing with classic zombies because the specials are really dumb
Mid to end game gets really easy without them though.
I wish it was possible to disable all the stupid imps, demons and stuff but keep the special zombies. Imps literally spawn in pairs of 10 and fireball snipe you through your windshield while you're driving past them at 80 mph.
Mid to end game gets really easy without them though.
You're right about that, but early game is so hard.

Any interesting new experimental features in the past 3-4 months?
Last time I played they made repairing super minor damage with a vehicle welding rig take like a full fuckin day so I've been put off from playing
Worst are Mi-Gos the cheating fucks.
I fucking forgot they could mimic voices when I first tried random NPC's, flashed my light on for 1 turn only to see 2 Mi-Gos. I didn't survive.
Last time I played they made repairing super minor damage with a vehicle welding rig take like a full fuckin day so I've been put off from playing
What? Why?
What? Why?
Practicing tailoring takes ages and a ton of thread now too. It seems maintenance and repair stuff takes forever now. Also, did molotovs always act like grenades?
What? Why?
Because my favorite part of the game is post-weldrig vehicles, and now it's unnecessarily tedious
What? Why?
Easy: balance. In a single-player sandbox role-playing game where it's almost physically impossible to stay anywhere for longer than a few hours in the early game. I mean, don't you think the game is more fun when hobomode takes longer than three hours, and most of that time is spent foraging for supplies so you can grind up the most commonly-used skills and perform the most basic of mid-game tasks without starving to death halfway through?
I would assume they're trying to push people to search for books as opposed to hiding and grinding, in the worst possible way.
I've played this a bit. Made mad loot when I found out I can just use explosive shotgun rounds to enter banks and police armories rather than hacking.
I've played this a bit. I've never been able to enter them without hacking since they buffed the vault walls.
#5891 (Nov 18, 2016 4:34:02 PM) Don't allow survivor to snuggle 0 warmth items
There's no good in this world anymore.
There's no good in this world anymore.
RIP "You fall asleep." "You use your saxophone to keep warm." :saxout:
There's no good in this world anymore.
I didn't know that was even a thing. I could've been snuggling a trunk filled to the brim with explosives and I never did
So in the latest experimental there is diamond frames and plating which have more than double the durabilty of steel frames and military composite armor, and more than half the weight. Not sure how to make them but it requires spiral stones.

Yo this game is on the iPhone App Store!
