So I desperately rushed to a grocery store and strangled a bunch of undeads to get a shopping cart to wheel bodies near my house into a fire pit so they stop reviving since I have no knife. I try to use the ^ on one and it doesn't work, then I try all of them and I came to the realization that I don't know how to drive shopping carts in the new version someone help

Press Shift and G press in direction of the cart, and then move around as normal and you'll essentially drag the cart with you, then press Shift G to let go again.
So I desperately rushed to a grocery store and strangled a bunch of undeads to get a shopping cart to wheel bodies near my house into a fire pit...
You 'strangled' undeads? As in you actually sneaked up to them and strangled them or did you just kill them with melee? Did I miss an update sometime?
I don't think so, haven't seen any signs of it myself. I'd love if the game had some stealth mechanic other than the Light Step and Inconspicous perks, especially now that melee is harder.

Its shell/skin was repelling the arrows from a Short Bow and I kept missing with my Pointy Stick. Running was useless as the bastard was as fast as I was and kept up. On the bright side, my newly created character started pretty close by, so I easily found my stash and pulped the remains of my first guy. Then I killed a Wolf, butchered it, dehydrated its meat and threw the dehydrated meat at a different wolf. For a 3 damage headshot.
It really irritates me how certain common enemies can't not kill you in the very early game. Fucking manhacks, man.
There's distractions, and I've noticed a lot of zombies milling about at the edge of my view port with me in mostly plain sight. Even going so far as to grab a shopping cart and wheeling it around while dumping shit into it. Sneaking is easier and much more possible than it used to be, even in 0.9. I feel like they've tightened up sight and hearing for zombies. Fucking manhacks, man.
Manhacks aren't common, where the hell are you finding them at?
I discovered that if there is any problem in the game 99% of the time explosives fix it.
Manhacks aren't common, where the hell are you finding them at?
Well, I've met several Zombie Scientists in the wilds in my currently short playthrough. They seem to spawn with dead scientist.
Manhacks aren't common, where the hell are you finding them at?
Zombie scientists drop them, and they're pretty common. As soon as the manhack is let loose, you're pretty much fucked because you can't outrun them, even with fleet footedness.
Toss the thing you're holding into their general direction
I discovered that if there is any problem in the game 99% of the time explosives fix it.
Ah, explosives. The cause of- and solution to most of life's problems!
Ah, explosives. The cause of- and solution to most of life's problems!
"If in doubt. C4"
I don't use explosives that much my self. But the one time I did, it certainly fixed my turret/bunker/zombie soldier problem.
I had a really long game once, explosives fixed that for me.

I am getting this on all builds. Any ideas?
So, I found an actual APC but are unable to restore it because I can't find a single hacksaw in the entire town. And there's a Hulk between me and the next town, any tips on how to best deal with it? Like, how well do they handle cars to the face?

That should [][][] the [][][][][] for [][][][][][][] but only [][][][][][][] if [][][][][][] [][][][][]. Also don't [][][][][][] to [][][][] [][][][][][][] unless [][][][][][]. Then [][][][][][] [][][][][] to [][][][][][][][]. In all seriousness, it's because you're using a Russian OS:
Quick sort of complaint about the 0.A release: When it first runs on a Russian OS, it re-generates its options file with russian language in mind, and uses a russian language translation from the included set of localized files - but the unicode support doesn't seem to work in the SDL version, and all text (excepting a few untranslated lines) ends up in blank squares. Deleting the language files restores English, so I'm not complaining that much. :P
[editline]5th March 2014[/editline]
So, I found an actual APC but are unable to restore it because I can't find a single hacksaw in the entire town. Because along with decent proficiency in a ranged weapon, you can just set up a huge line of bear traps - 4-5 should be enough if your weapon does decent damage - and get him to run into all of them. They do damage and flat out keep enemies from moving for several turns. [editline]5th March 2014[/editline] I checked through the 0.A release thread on the Cataclysm forums and it looks like 0.B is going to be aimed at NPCs first and foremost, and then either Z-levels then or 0.C is targeting Z-levels.
I'm afraid not. And the only trap I can make is nailboard, does that slow down creatures? I also got an RM99 revolver with incendiary rounds that should do some damage, in addition to my trusty crossbow.
It does indeed slow them down, but not by any decent amount. Are you sure there's not any around the town you can scoop up? Other than taking one shot and swapping to the revolver, the crossbow's mostly just going to get you killed. The reload on it is like 800 minus something or other for strength, which is 8 turns. Taking a car at 80 or so MPH should be enough to obliterate it, but I can't say for certain the car won't suffer a similar fate.
There's plenty of (relatively) undamaged, disposable cars around. I'll only need to change tires, luckily I don't need hacksaw for that. The question is, how badly damaged can I get from a car crash, with seatbelt?
Uhh... actually I don't know. They updated car physics in 0.9 or 0.8 and I haven't actually crashed a car since before then. They said it's likely to be more damaging than before, more 'realistic,' so I suspect you're likely to hit him and skid out even if you do kill him. Best to be ready to change the speed to 0 and maybe even jump out.
Well, there's only one way to find out then? If I don't return, please tell my atomic coffeepot I loved it. [editline]5th March 2014[/editline] That worked almost disappointingly well...
Oh yes! You can make cargo spaces now. Could only make one with the resources I had, but it holds almost all of my hobo stash.
Did earlier versions have a chance of generating pre fortified houses? I just stumbled upon a house that had all its windows pre boarded up and a back room loaded with beds and supplies. Pretty sure this never happened in vanilla Cataclysm and I haven't played DDA enough to know if it has always been a thing.
Not that I ever encountered, and I played quite a bit.
