Actually it is possible, there's been a report of someone's keybindings changing randomly. Deleting the keymap file didn't fix it then either, as I recall. You'll have to genuinely check your keybindings ingame to make sure.

You should make a stone fireplace inside your home. You just need 40 rocks and it doesn't take any skills, just some tools. Then you can burn things in complete safety.

I just hit a zombie at 500 Km/h with a unicycle.

I got catapulted off, smacked against a wall and received 9 damage.

Yeah, I would say it's pretty safe.

No, afaik you can still get food poisoning. It just prevents you getting Common Cold and Flu.

RetroDays is a pretty nice step up from ASCII without being too confusing. It has pretty much all tiles accounted for atm. It's what I use. You can just toss both the 10x10 and 20x20 versions in, though you really only need 20; If you need a larger viewing distance, then you can just press z to zoom out which is effectively the same as using size 10.

(Note: the version of RetroDays included in default Cataclysm (at least, the version included in the tiles experimental) is outdated, and completely different from the latest version. There are more stylized ones like [URL="http://smf.cataclysmdda.com/index.php?topic=4658.0"]Raga[/URL] but I think they are hideous.

Edit: That's two for RetroDays. Awesome.

The only thing I [B]don't[/B] like about RetroDays is the lack of an alpha channel or transparency. For example, if a bone is lying on the grass it will black out the whole square so that you can't see the grass underneath it. Maybe I'll fix it at some point.

Generally if the chance of fault is over 20% you want to wait till you have higher first aid.

Raga's is the most complete graphics tileset that I have found, it's okay on the eyes in my opinion.
