Spent like 4 hours on this :v: Giant Rush (Medium?) C786-0000-0091-0DB6 [sp]Probably should've made the Bowser part different to the Thwomp one hah[/sp]
Here's some levels I made: Hoppin n Boppin 3C92-0000-0082-EDAE As you can probably guess, a level based on hopping on enemies. Precision ABC3-0000-0082-EFA7 A level based entirely on precision platforming. Not too long, but quite challenging I think. 75m and Beyond 1C2F-0000-008E-AE10 Just a basic level where the start is a terrible interpretation of Donkey Kong. Gotta Go Fast! 6B2A-0000-008E-C154 A challenging level where you have to go fast.
I did it! Worst feeling is when you get knocked off a shell, and try to get back on to only kick it away (or worse, it becomes your helmet...) How long did it take you to "validate" it?
Honestly did it on my 1st try. I have a process of building a little bit of the map, going back and playing up to the area I built to see if it has a alright flow, building a little more, playing it again etcetc till it feels right so I had plenty of practice. Heck even found out that if you accidentally helmet the shell if you keep running forward and grab the mushroom and just haul ass across the springs you can survive to the "back to start" door for another try :v: Glad you could beat it though! I'm proud!
And to think that's what expert is going to be...nothing but hard, crazy courses (or just really cheap ones). On another note, I'm not sure if it's been noted or not, but something I found: The mystery is of low or high, what pans the camera toward the sky? The game welcomes the height that you place. Well, aside from the psuedo reference and rhyme, I found that if you want the camera to be locked on the lower half of a stage, just don't place anything above the midpoint of the Y-axis.
It's actually the grid, there's 4 hard lines in a + shape, and if you place anything over the horizontal line the level becomes scrolling upwards.
(that's what I meant...just a more roundabout way of putting it I guess)

Want to note that as far as I can see, this only works with clouds, so no invisible brick walls.
i was able to make some of the unbreakable blocks invisible and even made some able to be passed through, also invisible walls B321-0000-0094-90A1 also try my level called hard
Has anyone noticed something hilariously off about ice blocks? They don't melt with fireballs, despite doing so in SMB3 and NSMBU. I tried to make a SMW level themed around breaking the ice with Fire Mario but guess that isn't happening. D:

I was fixing my Ghastly Ghouls stage, and someone stared it. I had to delete it so I could upload the new version  I found out that the invisible clouds will show up on the picture though. Ghastly Ghouls 859A-0000-0095-02DA
Mariovania: Pipelines 5A13-0000-0095-ACCC made a metroidvania level, it's pretty tricky. it's kinda long though so if you die you lose a lot of progress, i really wish checkpoints were in the game.

I made a level based upon the invisible block glitch. Not sure how well it would last if Nintendo ever patches that out, so play it while you can. Boollusion Mansion: BB68-0000-009C-6F30 Curiously, I was under the impression that the glitch only worked on cloud blocks, but I was able to do it on ice blocks and hard blocks as well. Furthermore, depending on the order you stack the blocks you can actually get different results, so a hard invisible block could be either an invisible block that can't be passed through from any angle, or a visible block that is intangible from every angle except below.
Two really hard Levels, the second one is full of traps. Mind the gap: 9512-0000-0069-83CF Mind the gap v2: C9B0-0000-007A-9062 This Level is kind of easy, if you get it. Traaaaapolin: D5A4-0000-009B-D53E
Okay so my friend bought this game on the weekend while we were hanging out and we ended up playing it for nearly 12 hours. It's insanely fun!
Well, SomecallmeJohnny just uploaded his Super Mario Maker review.
FDBB-0000-00A2-0042 made another Halloween level, if anyone wants to try it out.
You're Gonna Have a Bad Time 6B40-0000-009A-B2EE i think this is my favorite level i've made so far, the name speaks for itself. also, i only have 2 total clears on any of my levels. even including the one i purposefully made really easy.
I wonder when we will hear about any upcoming DLC ( if any )
I wonder when we will hear about any upcoming DLC ( if any )
I could see a Mario 2 DLC somewhere down the line. It really would add a lot without infringing too much on Nintendo's own games (given that even shy guys rarely see use in a traditional mario game). Outside of that though, it's hard to say. It depends a lot on Nintendo's confidence in their own titles.
I'll actually be a bit sad and if there isn't dlc
It would be a missed opportunity. Think of other styles they could do. Items, Enemies, level themes. They are missing the chance to make a lot of money if they pass that up.
Super Mario Bros 2 tileset pls
I really think some features like slopes and checkpoints should be free dlc and not paid. Only things I can see paying for is themes like Ice and Nighttime and SMB All Stars and stuff like that.
Super Mario Bros 2 tileset pls
Lost Levels or USA?
Lost Levels or USA?
Normally when someone refers to Super Mario Bros 2. They're talking about USA.
SMB2 US is way too different to get it's own theme unless they strip the game of the multiple characters and throwing mechanic and basically everything the game is known for. I don't understand why people want it so badly.

SMB2 custom levels would be a dream, last I checked the ROM hack tools available for it were very limited.
