This thread makes me wanna go play Half-Life again.

Is it illegal to ask for Half-Life [i]1[/i] alpha/beta?

The half life 2 beta was posted on the oify, but torrenting it is out of date so you can't torrent it.

What about those mods about HL beta? Quiver and 1997? How come I never hear anything about them? Not only that I hear HL enitial encounter comes with a thing called half-life day one that is Hl beta. If you're wondering what it is,here is what I found about it: This is a budget release of Half-Life which contains Half-Life: Day One, and a demo version of the full game which only has the first few levels of the game. Once you've cleared those levels, the game ends, and you are asked to buy the full version. The package also includes the full version of Team Fortress Classic.

How do I get day one? Or is Day one HL uplink?

Try searching on google if you really want it. Even though there's nothing new in it. Cept for some cool stuff in the SDK.
