Most of the un-used dialouge was used in Half-Life Uplink.
*fucking incredible map* Pretty much finished, although I might tweak the lighting
That's looking really good. Just add the blood and it'll be fucking incredible!
Yeah I'm getting a copy of Gunman, which I think has alpha-ish style blood (that I'll add to the map).
Wow very imformative tread. Makes me think....
Started building some old labs...
Ha, that's awesome! But I think that little 'lab pit' thingy, probably had a ramp or somethign leading down to it.
Lol, of course, this is only an early stage of maping it. Thing is, I can't find those beta keyboard textures :(.
Nice.
Hey postal I PM'ed you some more beta pics awhile ago, did you get them?
Ha, Gordon the space biker!
Yeah, forgot about 'em, sorry. Gonna work on squeezing 'em in tommorow.
I was working on the Lab again, It's very compicated and not working out very well :(.
Whoops, missed this post. Meh, don't worry about it. Remaking something based only on screenshots is one hell of a chore, and you're doing a damn fine job on it. Also, don't forget that the Black and Red panther eye are actually not two seprate stages, but actually the male and female versions. Course, dunno how you coul get ahold of that later-staged blue Panther-Eye. :/ Also, I've been hearing that the Half-Life 1 Beta was, in fact, leaked. One guy commented on my you-tube beta video to say that he had, in fact, had the beta, but lost it in a system crash. I dunno if he's just bullshitin' me, but I'm starting to think it's true, since I've heard of many other people having this... Beta. Wonder what version it was, though? :raise:
I would love the Beta but who would not want it !

But I guess we can wait it out for Quiver, aparently Barnz is going to be modeling both alpha/beta sci and fem sci. EDIT: postal, the blue Panther-Eye textures are in the SDK I think.
postal, the blue Panther-Eye textures are in the SDK I think.
I have both but I am not alowed to release them or I would.
Um, wasn't the Panther-Eye released to the public anyway :/. Edit: Whoa! Just got Half-Life Day One and was search though the pak and it's got sh*t load of pre-released models! Haha barnacled slave :D I'll upload more pics when I can.

Just go into it's folder, then If not steam: Open up the Pak file using 'pakexplorer' Go to the models folder, and you'll find them in there. You can view them using half-life model viewer. If steam: Steam/steamapps/half-life/*Whatever the day one folder is*/ And then open the pak file using 'pak explorer', go to the models folder, and click the model to open it in HL Model view. Great work. Very interesting to read.
some of the HD stuff looks better than half-life source...
Wow, fun thing you're doing there Sega, that recreation of the spot with the dead Barney and the Tigereye looks almost identical !:)
*pic of "Charger"* It's called a 'Charger'. Dunno anything else about it. Credit goes to astrik.sega for finding it.
Holy shit! That's a whole new discovery I think!
some of the HD stuff looks better than half-life source...
Hahaha... EDIT: Edited off the pic, not needed two on one page...
Nice Job on this thread, I'm really glad that they went for the serious approach opposed to all those wacky models.
It's called a 'Charger'. Dunno anything else about it. Credit goes to astrik.sega for finding it.
They could've done a better job on that thing's face, it just looks ugly. The rest looks damn awesome however.
