I got some results, like this one
The Broadsider is an awesome one-shot kill weapon. Shame the ammo for it is dead scarce and the ironsights have no aim reticle.
It's a weapon that was added to the game because they didn't know what else to add so they added a joke weapon, they even joke about it in the loading screen messages to show how serious of a weapon it is. I mean you are walking around with a Portable Naval Cannon so it's never really going to be that serious of a weapon, unless you're Serious Sam, then it's fine.

That link only had the update before it.

Yeah, especially when New Vegas had an M79.
So did Fallout Tactics but that means very little as far as this conversation goes.
Is there a mod that removes Legendary Enemies and weapon drops. Some of the legendary weapons are alright but to be honest I feel like neither system belongs in a fallout game, most of the legendary weapon effects are just stupid and make no sense even in the fallout world, and it's a constant reminder you're in a game when some raider wearing barely any protection takes a plasma shot to the face and regains all his health. I feel like there was a big missed opportunity to have legendary enemies just be ones fully decked out in extreme armour or maybe ones in the power armour, and that being what makes them legendary. I've always felt that if you want to make tough enemies they have to look like something that could sponge bullets. It gets especially dumb when for example you find that building filled with radroaches that are oddly tougher than any other radroaches in the game and become more bullet than roach before they die.
I really like legendary ghouls and robots because I can remove more limbs before they die [editline]12th March 2017[/editline] That sounded really mucked up I apologise
Is it me or does NV have more unique mods for legendary weapons than Fallout 4? It seems that Fallout 4 went down the track of Fallout 3 and Skyrim with ordinary weapon models being used for legendary weapons and while this is fine it's just there isn't much variety of legendary energy weapons.

There's only a handful of actually unique unique weapons, which sucks even more when legendaries are so common.
Bethesda can be surprisingly lazy with unique gear considering the fact that they have to make quite a bunch of them in every TES game they release, with all of the daedric artifacts that keep coming back.
artifacts that keep coming back.
They betray their master often.. Also, Did i get legendary and unique confused?
Alright! I recently tore down my main vault area and rebuilt it into a more ergonomic based on a youtuber's video however i'm not entirely sure what type of vault rooms should be in the main building area. Imgur I've already an offshoot for living space, along with pump and reactors & food just haven't got anything connecting them as of yet. Just need inspiration.
Assuming you're planning to use the vault as a base of operations and not just a glorified ant farm you'd want all your stores and crafting stations near where you spawn when you enter the vault. So it makes sense to have a large (possibly two or three story) main atrium with various stores around it as well as the main crafting rooms: general store, clothing and armor stores, clinic (including a surgeon and a phoropter), a workshop and power armor bay, a barber shop and so on. You may as well stick the bar/restaurant here too as it gives you a place to put the cooking station as well as somewhere for all the useless NPCs to hang out. Also a place for the soda fountain. By contrast, resources like beds and power just need to exist so you might as well stick stuff like living quarters/barracks away from the main era. With the exception of your own overseer office/living quarters/ guest bedrooms/trophy room and whatnot which should also be easily accessible from the atrium. And also overlook it with the big round window because why else have it, right? It's important to plan all the stairways around the atrium so they allow easy access to all floors (so the opposite of malls) yet don't block the view or take up too much floor space. Make sure you install the mod that allows NPCs to go up stairs or they'll just end up being stuck everywhere or crowding the atrium floor. You can also set up elevators (again, mods will give you access to more than the basic ghetto one) but keep in mind only you will be using them. What else? Ooh. Have you considered putting in a synth factory? Set up a synth recharging area with reclamation chairs for beds and you're all set up to be you're very own Institute. http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/16354/? http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/18782/? You can also close off a large farming area and build up an army of robots to work it, freeing up your squishy human dwellers for the service industry and experimentation fodder. Personally I used a few food paste generators (mod) in the main dining area and a couple of additional farming cages way out in the dark tunnels for dwellers that annoy me.
Tell me if this needs to be spoiler tagged. I got into a [del] dick [/del] gun measuring contest with [sp]Curie[/sp], Harpoon Gun that deals double damage, or Never Ending Gauss Rifle?

So that Sim Settlements mod is really cool. It alone is carrying another playthrough for me. It's so fun using it in Vault 88, it lets you spread out so much more and the mod does a really good job at having your settlers actually move around to the different buildings. With all the different options and progression, it actually feels like managing a settlement of people rather than minecraft building with other people hanging about. I couldn't recommend this mod enough, it even gives me incentives to pay attention to the settlement system during super hardcore survival play playthroughs.
