You don't need mods to get all of them. I've always used either a ton of turbo, or implant GRX, and then snuck around the the left, and to the elevator.
You use the stealthboy that you find near at the start of the game and hide behind the generator closest to the door that he's coming from then sneak as he's opening it and if you do it correctly and don't have your pipboy light on you'll do fine.
Dogtooth was posting pretty little teasers again~

He went all fucking out on the HUGEfire armor and I love it
Hellfire is the coolest and I'll fight you if you say it isn't.
Anyhow! Started producing storage bots for trade.

The plan is to get them all trading with vault 88, however i'll have to dismantle my existing supply lines.
What are your thoughts on it's current config?
Anyhow! Started producing storage bots for trade.

not enough bags
Anyone ever seen this happen before? Wasn't any mines or rockets being fired my way; just came out of nowhere and kept going long after I recorded it.

(ignore the "Legendary container is full" message i accidentally fucked something up and hadn't bothered fixing it yet)
radiation lightning perhaps?

Needs more guns
Needs more guns
If you can find me a mod that allows me to mount a chest plasma cannon and several arms protruding from the spine that fire plasma bolts, I'll gladly update it and mount more dakka on it.
Also! Why can't you mount more guns on the Mr. Handy builts? I figure you'd atleast be able to put laser bits on legs like the regular models.

Edit:

Speak of mounting more weapons on Mr. Handy, Has anyone tried this mod?

This shit jumped the shark so far up the line, and yet still hasn't become any more interesting than episode one.
Like they hire writers, they make/loadup mods, they set up areas for sets, yet somehow they don't have the time to make the script funny or interesting. The main character, the 'Psycho', is still just a badly written/less interesting Deadpool, the Storyteller is the dry dude, and now EDNA is actually the show's real source of humor from time to time. I mean if you want to go with that character as the base of the show, give him something good! Don't just say, 'lol 4th wall what does that mean rawr!" with it.
Spoiler Tl;DW below.
[sp]So basically this episode is just the main team + the head thing and a hyper smart deathclaw sitting in a 'club' room, talking about what they want to do now that the head bot guy got shot. Meanwhile, the more interesting part of this arc, the immortal Cult-Raider-Lady and her gang raiding the club that said team was stuck in, is regulated to about 35 seconds of screentime, including the catch up that was included (for some reason), DESPITE BEING THE THUMBNAIL.
Storyteller is a weeb now, and has a kinda cringy sequence involving a AI, because people wanted to see that joke in there somewhere I guess?[/sp]
[sp]ALSO: Remember the Fisto bots? The filler/throwaway April Fools storyteller that that was used to kickstart this show? Apparently one survived and is out for revenge now. Because we needed more plot threads that go out the window every episode.[/sp]
so I was exploring with Codsworth and we spotted a radstag. He said "oh dear" before attacking it :v:
So apparently there's a high-res free DLC for FO4. Is it as underwhelming as the one for Skyrim?
So apparently there's a high-res free DLC for FO4. Is it as underwhelming as the one for Skyrim?
Yes.
Just looked at the reviews for it on steam, almost universally negative except for those running the game on extraterrestrial supercomputers. 58gb, too. Bit of a shame Bethesda still manages to fuck this up.
[editline]15th March 2017[/editline]
How do you make a high-res dlc that's a third bigger than the actual game and still only produce minimal graphics improvement?
pretty sure they just upscaled all the textures (or reverted them to their original size) with no thought for actual work
So apparently there's a high-res free DLC for FO4. Is it as underwhelming as the one for Skyrim?
Barely any difference, and it's like, 50+ gb.
Barely any difference, and it's like, 50+ gb.
Only differences I've noticed is that it's drastically lowered my FPS, even on 1070 and an OC'd i5, and it's almost doubled my load times.
Speaking of high quality. Anyone know any mods for buildings/doors/etc. Tired of having the nice looking roads/ground/etc and then going into towns to see blurry ass garbage.
Bit annoying going through texture packs looking to replace everything, but it's all so patchwork, with various mods covering various small portions.
So far settled on TOP as a baseline, so anything not covered is optimised regardless.
Then all of the Vivid ___ cept the power armour frame (cos that looks weird to be honest).
Wondering if a) A little bit of Green would cause noticeable clashes with the above and b) if there's a better option somewhere; kinda operating off what mods I used to use a while back.
Apparently there's some youtube channels that give advice on good mods to use, but I really dislike watching video tutorials; seems text tutorials have fallen out of favour.
Anyway to break it? and bypass the limit as it seems a little arbitrary.
Edit: On PC, If that helps.
Don't think this has been mentioned yet, but you can get more building space by dropping an item from your inventory, storing it in the workbench with workshop mode, grabbing it out of the workbench manually, rinse, repeat.

So... you wouldn't be interested in my mod that makes the left side of the backs of billboards optimised and hi-res?

Nah I only strive for quality. If it isn't just the left top corner of a trashcan lid in 8k what's the point.

How about 4k bottlecaps?

So I just noticed this maybe 10hrs into the game, but there isn't a ammo workbench like there was in F:NV? I like using laser/institute rifles and being hi-tech but its so expensive with caps being kind of harder to obtain as well as fusion cells being scarce. Even regular bullet guns are annoying to keep stocked since I prefer traveling with Kellogg's pistol, a shotgun, and rifle.
Speaking of Kellogg, the plot sucks. It feels like with each new game the writing continues to degrade and I'm forced into either being pure righteousness incarnate or the devil born as a man. I want to be a wild card like Obsidian let me be. I don't want to replace people with synths but I want a synth army like Kellogg had. I wanted to ally with Kellogg. I want to take over the commonwealth as a benevolent dictator not some leader of the peoples minutemen militia.
And for fuck sakes, FUCK the essential tag.
Aight, so far i've got: (ordered according to installed first where conflicts may apply)
Texture Optimization Project 0.19
Patch Job (since the little holes in settlement walls annoy me to no end)
Vivid Fallout: Landscapes, Roads and Bridges, Rocks, Trees
Vivid Water
WET
Better Quarry Sites
A Little Bit of Green
FTO: Stars, Moon
FlaconOil's HD ReTexture Project (looks like it covers enough of the miscellanea that I don't need to go round digging for more)
Clean Pip-Boy Screen (still to encounter a retexture for the pip-boy itself I actually like)
Better Handmade Weapon Textures
Dark Institute Weapons Red and Black
Improved Map with Visible Roads
Any suggestions? Leaning towards replacing A Little Bit of Green with Commonwealth Conifers, and Grasslands, and there's still people, armour, clothing, items, weather and the rest of the weapons to do.
Fuck, after this i'm going to mash them all together (at least the ones that're purely textures and don't use an .esp) in a ready-to-install archive so I never have to do this again.

For energy weapons you can find mid level Gunners all over who have energy weapons, picking up (and optionally dropping) their weapons will give you the ammo from them. Gunner camps usually also have energy cells in cases around the place.
I think you can craft ammo with the factory stuff from the Wasteland Workshop DLC, but I've never really used it.
In hindsight it seems like the weapon crafting was a really shitty idea
It becomes so much harder to make a well-balanced weapon roster where each gun feels distinct in appearance and purpose when every gun is now any gun.

Weapon crafting wasn't a bad idea. Making every weapon an all purpose gun was. The Pipe weapons should have been the only all purpose guns because they're easy to modify and versatile, but weak.
