What if you want milk?
What if you want milk?
Go find a brahmin then. You're on the wrong side of town.
make a crab shack which sells mirelurk claws with butter dip mmm
That's the plan.
is that supposed to be an issue
What if there were synth children in the class? :ohno:
Shit, What'd be the ways to capitalize on the wasteland if you weren't a technocrat but still had some sway over a town or city? Mirelurks have great meat and eggs, and you can get meat just after the eggs hatch. More to you. The meat is very beneficial. I'm not sure what has the best meat for a population. You can farm anything if you're brave enough (have the facilities) but the slow rad poisoning, and the fact that you probably have to feed what you're farming, makes a lot of stuff luxury. Anyone know what the smartest wasteland meats to farm are? Could you make a power generator by putting a glowing one in a cage surrounded by energy absorbent pannels? or, for more inhuman ways to treat ghouls, who are healed by radiation, you put them in a rad place, and carve of flesh as it regrows. Cooking tends to do a lot for irradiated meat, as seen with mirelurks, so it could be OK... I... don't know how else one can exploit the wasteland in interesting ways.
and they're taught by a [sp]robosexual[/sp]
mr. zwicky creeped me out at first but then I found curie and was like "oh now I get it"
You know, I wonder if it's possible to fix character movement in FNV. The shooting mechanics are part of the problem with how stiff they are, but stopping super stiffly on a dime is another problem. The jumping is jank, and all the movements feel like you're some pin in the floor sliding around and halting on a track.
Just found curie while returning to vault 81, I'm kinda unsure if i should use her or just keep codsworth?
Just found curie while returning to vault 81, I'm kinda unsure if i should use her or just keep codsworth?
Use Cait, Cait -> Curie -> Nicky "Where did he go" Valentine -> Piper "Did you know I'm a reporter" -> Codsworth "I'm going to walk in front of you" -> Preston "My god shut up" Gravy.
Use Cait, Cait -> Curie -> Nicky "Where did he go" Valentine -> Piper "Did you know I'm a reporter" -> Codsworth "I'm going to walk in front of you" -> Preston "My god shut up" Gravy.
Oh god that Codsworth observation couldn't be even more on point. I have him as my current companion and whenever I try to set up a stealth attack, he just goes in front of me, taking the shot meant for someone else and now the entire raider base is alerted even though I'm using a suppressed rifle, when they wouldn't have been in the first place.
Anyway, I've been revisiting all the existing settlement location that I've found and Egret Tours Marina seems like the best choice as starlight is too far and that island isn't viable.
I've been considering getting Fallout 4 for the settlements and robots thing alone. Is it worth it? [editline]20th March 2017[/editline] Also I guess how weapon modding works looks pretty cool, but from what I've seen and heard the core of Fallout (atmosphere, good writing) isn't quite there
http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/22652/? Settlement Defense Turrets. APC and Tank that function as a machine gun turret and dual rocket launcher turret, respectively. These are slight WIPs. (and a few heavy WIP player only minigun turrets...and a WIP Vertibird) [editline]20th March 2017[/editline] [t]https://staticdelivery.nexusmods.com/mods/1151/images/22879-1-1489975947.png[/t] Someone also did something with the power armor too

There's a lot of effort put into useless things, like light shows But no effort put into engaging or convenient things. You won't have rivals, your people are simple, attacks are one-note, the building system is clunky. building blocks often won't go together. It's a distraction, but it's not special. Mods can make things better, but the limits of the base game are clear.
Snip-O
Robot Construction is great! But it really needs more body types. Like that red rocket robot you see on the posters and so on.
Uhh Brahmin dude...
Common. Known. Wonder if there's a pig mutant? Bacon'd be pretty rad in the wasteland
Common. Known. Wonder if there's a pig mutant? Bacon'd be pretty rad in the wasteland
Of course it would be rad, this is Fallout not Fellout :v:

I always figured the whole thing about them was that their chromosomes were damaged by the radiation like hisachi ouchi
make a crab shack which sells mirelurk claws with butter dip mmm
[t]http://i.imgur.com/RiMWveG.jpg[/t] The beginning of the end.
I know ghouls are healed by radiation, but do they regrow flesh? So a p90 mod got released that followed in AsXas' footsteps http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/22871/? [t]https://i.imgur.com/ImtkaIV.jpg[/t] Even has him in the credits
Asxas, for the memes. Check out his great M1 Garand mod here!

So a p90 mod got released that followed in AsXas' footsteps Even has him in the credits
Yeah better, I had a chat after the release since I found out he ripped the tape mesh and textures from the M1 Garand without asking me. Not a nice thing to do. But as I said we had a chat, so we all cool now.
They tried that with the """'""assault rifle"""""" that looks like a fucking WW1 machine gun, fucking retarded and impractical, it looks like a bloody antique not the pinnacle of American design philosophy. Bigger isn't always better. The Service Rifle is stylized enough in NV to look practical but not super realistic, it's a mash up of the M16 and it's forerunner, the AR10 which itself was born out of 1950's design.
They could've said in the game that the "assault rifle" was meant to be used by assault power armor units, as water cooled barrel would've been superior at sustained fire. And weight of it wouldn't have been a problem for power armor. I do think they should've added the fallout 3 assault rifle to the game too as a lighter and more fast firing alternative maybe.
I'd love to see more weapon mods that take modern weapons and stylize them to fit that aesthetic more. I don't think the weapons themselves have ever felt like they couldn't belong in fallout but when modders make super modern tactical weapons that look like they were ported straight from call of duty then they stick out like a sore thumb imo. But I do love P90s so much that I might just download that mod anyways.
The Kalash 2012 from the Metro games would fit pretty well into Fallout imo [t]http://vignette3.wikia.nocookie.net/metro2033/images/8/89/AK2012_isometric_dirty_M2033.png/revision/latest?cb=20120715194300[/t] [t]http://vignette4.wikia.nocookie.net/metro2033/images/e/e5/AK2012_sideview_dirty_M2033.png/revision/latest?cb=20120715194403[/t]

Make the name something that combines it's name and size with a connection to P.A.

In one of my playthroughs I sorta went full settlementy, unlocked every settlement in the game, connected them all with Local Leader, even went full Strong Back perks and collected and traded junk. Towards the end of the game, I was using Purified Water instead of caps and I had 15000 (lbs?) of junk in my Sanctuary Hills settlement, and every single settlement had at least 80 defense in it. Settlements are very broken if done right.
