I too, have shared your sentiment, to the point where I've started to make one myself.

Second model ever and still trying to make it. Been sidetracked by school and other modding tho.
I love you. So much.
Now we just need the red coats and the tricorn hats so we can bring civilization and manners back to Boston!

And the best part is they don't have any tea to throw away as a distraction!
Funniest thing I've ever gotten, radiation wise, was a Radium Rifle with that +50 radiation damage legendary effect. Combine it with the maxed out nuclear physicist perk, I'd drop even the strongest raider with 2-3 shots just from sheer radiation damage. Called it "Legendary in Dead", because it just absolutely wrecked legendary raiders over if they got the chance to "regenerate", because they wouldn't heal the rad damage. So they'd mutate, and have like, 2-5 hp left, 'twas funny to me at least.
Does the Nuke Physicist perk work with the normal Radium Rifle?
I have no clue what is wrong with my Fallout 4 Performence on it is horrible. My first Installation it ran pretty well.
Now my CPU spike 100% freezing up randomly for 1-2 sec in intervals for a bit, and city FPS is god awful like 15-30 fps in some views.
My hardware should be fine to run well with a Mixed setting I have a I5-6600K and a 970.
Any idea whats wrong?
Anyone?
Anyone?
Man, I'd love to know why my own Fallout 4 just doesn't run well anymore. Seems like it just gets worse.
Does the Nuke Physicist perk work with the normal Radium Rifle?
Yes.
Does the Nuke Physicist perk work with the normal Radium Rifle?
Yeah, it's what makes it so fun to use. Does fairly decent ballistic damage and the radiation damage is just the cream cheese frosting on top.

It seems like it right? I distinctly remember the city running used to run about 40-50, not 15-30. I don't think its my mods since I uninstalled all of my texture stuff to see if that was it. It's like optimization went to shit since the dlc's been out

Guess it was something on Bethesda's end so since there's a few problems people are having with performance in game.
Hopefully Bethesda actually does something about it rather than releasing even more bloating content and patches that only add basic features to their fffucking mod search thing. Like, who at this rate is going to be able to stand playing this game VR if it'll end up just slideshow city?
As hype as I am for VR (which is very) I'm concerned about what kind of rig is going to be able to run this game at 90fps, or how turned down the graphics will have to be.
I've got an OC'd i5 and a 1070, and it has pretty consistent drops to 30fps on maximum settings with an ENB while in the city. Haven't had any similar FPS problems with any other game (except pre-patch Horizon 3) on ultra so far. :/
So every character in my fallout 4 is now bald. Might have gone overboard on the mods again...
Yeah, what's wrong with Sanctuary's roads?
Only 5 out of 6 mods there are actually worth downloading, I tell ya what

they have zero (0) tits
I would love a mod where you plant an undetonated nuke from sentinel site in sanctuary and get to build a settlement out of the resulting crater
I would love a mod where you plant an undetonated nuke from sentinel site in sanctuary and get to build a settlement out of the resulting crater
Or you plant the nuke and then a tree grows that makes mini nukes.
I wouldn't have minded a main quest option where you convince Maxson that all the major factions and settlements are secretly puppets of the institute and synths (by creating a list of a the synths blending into the human population to use as evidence) then he calls for back up and turns the entire commonwealth into a crater that you turn into a bunch of settlements with the help of preston and the minute men despite you having killed everyone including the minutemen :v:
Does anyone know how the initial Prydwen encounter works? Theoretically, couldn't you have it circling around the entire commonwealth through modding? Something like this could very well be possible if someone dumped their life into it.

Initial Prydwen encounter works like this: You step through elevator door after killing frosty flakes and going up the elevator, and then open the fort's roof door, and voila, Prydweiner TRIGGERED. It only triggers if you open the fort's roof door.
Also, did I tell you guys how I killed frootie loops and went through most of the main quest, met with the institute, and never encountered the Bros of Steel?
It turns out pre-updated FO4, after you kill honey smacks, if you just go exit the fort the way you came (which you can do IIRC after killing apple jacks and activating a terminal that opens the doors), you can just not ever trigger the Brotherhood, and I think you could beat the game without ever triggering them.

From how they talk about synths and people having light bulbs (they get hot and can burn you!) I thought it would be impossible NOT to trigger the Brotherhood of Steel.

Maxson did nothing wrong.
frosty flakes
frootie loops
honey smacks
apple jacks
I was not prepared.

Either the Unofficial patch fixed this, or Bethesda fixed this in an update. My first char had this issue, and I quickly went through the game with a cheated character to confirm if this is still possible.
Sadly, it is not :frown:. Beth fixed it I think, as I do have unofficial patches installed, but no where in their changelog of the game do they say that they fixed this.
Is there ever going to be a way to gut the main story of everything pre-BoS arrival? Alter some starting quests for each of the factions to be more independent of player progression, make the BoS appear on game start and add in some tunnel to get yourself to the institute and bam, you've got a much more roleplayer friendly storyline.
Has anyone made a Musket for Fallout 4 yet?
Seeing all the mannequins with red coats, tricorn hats and muskets makes me wanna don the redcoat uniform and use a Musket to bring back Imperialism and eradicate raiders with extreme prejudice.
I's love to see a proper musket though, put a bunch of people on those WW platforms and have them fight it out.
Oh no, what have i done?
now i have to finish it!
BTW, if anyone has any good reference pictures for the Short Land Pattern Brown Bess and is interested, please PM them to me. That'd be helpful for finishing this model.
I have quite a few books on the subject (As well as a couple on Weapons of the World), I'll see if any of them have useful pictures.

The museum I used to volunteer at also had a amazing public "library", and I might be heading back up there in a couple of days.
