definitely getting that one. no quicksave in a game as crashy as fallout has always been a deal breaker for survival
My favorite thing is when I get a quest-breaking bug that can't be resolved through any means other than the console (that would be disabled in survival) instead. To this day only 33% of the times I've done the Cabot House quest have resulted in Emogene actually being in the room of that [sp]cult church whose name I forget because I always kill everyone immediately[/sp] I just end up having to setstage the quest past that bit
I always just used the Save Tapes someone here made, set it so that you could save at any terminal without burning a tape and it works pretty well between not mashing quicksave and being entirely unable to quicksave for me. Console on is an always in case you get stuck in something which I somehow always manage to get stuck in a wall or staircase. On another topic I'm thinking about playing again and I'm wondering if there are any mods out there that let you load your power armor with stuff like weapons and ammo so they're on the armor not on your person. I'd like to do a survival run with a low strength character who uses power armor and big guns, but I don't want to cripple myself every time I get out of PA to use a bench or sleep.
I couldn't find any, so I loaded up the geck and can't figure out how to unlimit what can go in the container that it already has. maybe that's why the mod doesn't already exist
I have seen a mod like that on the nexus
This looks like something that would be cool to having in-game, not gonna lie.
So basically a Bizon? [t]https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/e/e5/PP-19_Bizon_right_view.jpg[/t]
I finally sat down and installed the New Vegas Mod Manager from nexus. How the fuck do I make it work with steam?
I'm determined to play FO:NV again. However the gun play makes me stop every time. Any recommended mods that bring it closer to Fallout 4? Also any mods that add the FO4 feature of the loot menus. Real time looting without having to enter sub menus so to speak? I'd check but currently at work. Any help appreciated.

To hell with it. Just trying to get the fucking game running at a decent resolution in borderless beyond 1080p is a chore, ENB's all seem to make it unstable as shit or look worse or are a total nightmare to install, I've already lost patience with it and about to give up and not bother, and that's before I've even started digging for gameplay mods to fix the HORRENDOUS gunplay and the likes. [editline]2nd April 2017[/editline] Yup. I'm done with it. It just isn't worth it. Back to FO4 I go I guess.
Welp I was gonna post this for the above guy, but I guess I'm just gonna post this for anybody else wanting to mod FNV Here's a list of mods I used to make the gunplay better: Real Recoil More Realistic Aiming Hitman's 1st person Animations + His ammo + weapon condition checking on GUN JIP Selective Fire This to make rag-dolling enemies less silly I'm not sure which Quickloot mod the guy earlier was talking about Plus a few extra that don't directly affect gunplay, but are nice touches This so you can swap weapons by scrolling A mod that adds a wearable holster + A less clipping mesh for it This mod which adds different noises when you pick things up Signature Weapon, you might not need it but if you're going for a themed run it can really help if you still need your peashooter to hit good later on (Be sure to read the descriptions of the mod too, some of them need customizing or have dependencies)

Looks garbage
The voice acting is pretty good but holy shit the mod is all over the place visually.
Been unable to find a single piece of T-51 in my playthrough, oddly enough. Encountered a full suit of X-01, multiple T-60s and enough Raider and T-45 to outfit an entire settlement. Might just have to buy some from the Atom Cats for the same of completeness.

You can get two suits of T-51 in the former and at least one in the latter. They have unique paint though, so don't know if you want at least one plain suit or not.

You'll probably have to buy it.

Worth a try if you haven't already looked there.

Likewise there's one set at [sp]35 Court[/sp] that's guaranteed to be an X-01 Mk II/III at level 30-35+.

Why no Quad Barrel, it's alot cooler.
hexa barrel plz
The voice acting is pretty good but holy shit the mod is all over the place visually.
they have a grand total of one decent voice actor, and it's the first you encounter. the rest are shit [editline]3rd April 2017[/editline] one of the voice actors is one of those dudes off youtube who do fallout 4 mod reviews and he has the weirdest voice. they could have gotten oxhorn or something who actually has a nice voice but the guy they went with just sounds weird as hell
the interiors in that mod look pretty bad, it lacks detail and there's so much random stuff going on.

I tend to explore very thoroughly; that, plus the spawns mod means by the time I actually got around to saving Valentine, Triggermen might as well be baby radroaches and even Deathclaws are a bit wimpy. Normally I avoid Greygarden long enough that T51 spawns on the freeway, but I needed the mutfruit for adhesive so I just got the babby's first power armour. Imo some power armour spawns should be unlevelled, or at least not progress any higher than a certain point.
hexa barrel plz
octa barrel rotary shotgun > hex barrel normal shootgun.

Only set of it I've found yet. I have a steamer trunk chock full of T-60 I got off of Brotherhood knights.

The entire outfit is great, but I especially fucking love the mask. Reminds me of the Imperial agent gear in the old republic, the sets that had a more combat ready twist on the iconic imperial officer duds.
