I'd love to see automatron get some sort of "vehicle seat" mod in the future, when vehicle mods become more refined. What's better than driving a motorbike or riding a horse through the wasteland? I'd like to see a mod that makes the game run well...
sounds like it i couldn't use those cake pickers, gilded grasshopper got stuck, couldn't leave a calling card on silver shroud victims the moment i disabled visual reload all of the scripts that had been waiting triggered at once
Awesome, going to try this next time I play. Thanks dude!
Seeing the StarCraft remaster, I really wish there was a remaster for the classic Fallout games to have higher resolution sprites, and be on a more stable engine. Would be awesome if the restoration patches by killap were made official, and restored some cut content that didn't make it into the game in time due to time constraints.
I honest to god want mobile ports of the original fallouts. I think that if Bethesda didn't fuck it up too bad, it would work really well.
I'd like to see a mod that makes the game run well...
It runs amazing for me, could leave it on for days without a crash or hiccups, probably optimization issues with certain hardware combinations. (1k+ hours played)
wheres the mod that replaces the pommel horse with a twerking station why doesnt it exist yet
It runs amazing for me, could leave it on for days without a crash or hiccups, probably optimization issues with certain hardware combinations. (1k+ hours played)
I've got a beefy computer but if I want a constant eye-pleasingly smooth experience I need to make the game look like wank. I've got games from way before and way after that look and play better than Fallout 4. I really can't call the game anything other than terrible now, after loving it so much when I first got it.
Speaking of which, can the recommended specs for this game (NVIDIA GTX780 graphics card, AMD FX9590 processor) manage a consistent 60fps? Or are there better alternatives for the money?

If anyone remembers my boy Dick Valentine, [t]https://steamuserimages-a.akamaihd.net/ugc/829070438390716300/DC2C4D75838965D0DC41342E13343E5619049D5E/[/t] You'll be happy to know he now is trying to survive in New Vegas DUST, the poor guy sure does get around. This doesn't make the game run any better, but it helps in other ways.

Or are there better alternatives for the money?
If you install the game to a SSD and turn shadows down it should run fine most places. Not in the city though, no one gets a solid 60fps in the city. That said, even as someone who loves Fallout 4 I'd recommend seeing if there's a sale coming up anywhere before throwing your money down. If you want to mod the game the DLC is practically required since many mod makers just assume most people have the DLC. Though if it's just smaller stuff you can just do with the base game.
if I want a constant eye-pleasingly smooth experience I need to make the game look like wank.
Yeah, I don't know, I play ultra and get 70 to 88 all the way - I remember I had an issue with stuttering and frames constantly dropping, deleted the INI files and tweaked some options (certain aspects run better maxed than medium or low, like godrays) and it's worked great ever since. One thing that helped was uncapping frames and using Nvidia Inspector to keep it at 118hz, this comes straight from the GPU and it's not a hard-cap that artificially lowers frames, the results are noticeably better than anything else.
So i finally got Fo:nv but now what next? anything of note to do first? (running the game wise) also mods which ones? [editline]5th May 2017[/editline] obviously nvse

[editline]5th May 2017[/editline] obviously nvse
Get Yukichigai's Unofficial Patch, NVAC (New Vegas Anti-Crash), and CASM (Cipscis' Automatic Save Manager). YUP fixes pretty much every technical problem a mod can fix, without changing anything design wise like other fix mods for New Vegas do. NVAC will greatly reduce how much the game crashes, though it's a Fallout game so it'll still crash every now and then. CASM replaces the save system with a new save system. The default save system will eat your saves eventually.
NV:MP is pretty cool. [t]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/16349584/new%20vegas%20multiplayer/22380_20170505154227_1.png[/t]

Oh yeah, you can check it out by going here - https://nv-mp.com/download.php
Okay so since I've been gone we've figured out animations to a t, vehicles, pump action shotguns and their proper reload etc Did we ever figure out akimbo weaponry?
Okay so since I've been gone we've figured out animations to a t, vehicles, pump action shotguns and their proper reload etc Did we ever figure out akimbo weaponry?
I imagine animating it in first person as a whole new weapon would be (relatively) easy, but third-person, muzzleflashes, and making it actually function like it should would be a whole other story.
Ok wake me up in 2018 I'm getting back in the pod

Is there a mod that removes Shaun and all mentionings of him in dialogue?
Is there a mod that removes Shaun and all mentionings of him in dialogue?
Sorta. It removes you as being his parent if you choose a non-Vault 111 dweller start, instead he's just some kid you're after for reasons and you almost never mention him.
Is there a mod that removes Shaun and all mentionings of him in dialogue?
Are you so heartless??? Next you'll be asking for a mod that removes Serana from Dawnguard, the poor dear. Or maybe you also want an edit of The Phantom Menace that removes all the Jar-Jar scenes? He's the heart of the movie!
