Quest givers are usually essential until their quest starts but then you can just murder them outright. You can wipe out all of the MQ factions save for the minutemen that way.
Interestingly, I discovered recently that the Brotherhood in 4 actually becomes essential once you've finished their quests, or at least Maxson does. Unless you shoot them down with the Minutemen, I suppose.
Yeah they become essential when you start their quest more indepth in order to prevent quest givers accidentally dying, but there are obvious windows of opportunity where you can slaughter everyone.
How to instantly gain like 5 levels from finding you-know-who in Vegas Step 1: Kill Joe Cobb Step 2: Find his stealth boy Step 3: Climb the mountain with that radio broadcast and go between the super mutants and deathclaws. Step 4: Use stealthboy to sneak past Deathclaws. Step 5: Press autorun and come back in 3 minutes, you'll be at Vegas
You don't need a stealthboy to get to Vegas. You can head past Sloan, climbing the cliff near Neil's shack, and head straight to Camp McCarran in about 2 minutes.
As soon as I saw the dial and that you could only use the letters from the words "freedom trail", I automatically assumed it was railroad, but I didn't want to believe. "They wouldn't make it that obvious", I thought.
By letter 3 on the trail I googled "freedom trail password" hoping I was wrong but not wanting to waste time writing anything down if I was right and I was disappointed. [editline]12th January 2017[/editline]
That's exactly what I do, just with a stealthboy. How do you outrun the Deathclaws? Because they always eat me alive, and typically can detect me even with the stealthboy. Oh man I just remembered you can steal NCR armor, and use it to sneak on the monorail into New Vegas without having to do Freeside shenanigans. Man I love the freedom in NV.
I don't think I've ever actually gone and made it all the way through the road of deathclaws. Every playthrough in recent memory has been the usual roundabout route you're "supposed" to take
You guys don't get it, the password is that obvious because no one would ever think it was that obvious. It's brilliant! You can also take that railroad trail with the blind deathclaw near Primm if you don't feel like doing the intended path but are not brave enough to run from deathclaws/cazadores
Can't really remember any off the top of my head, tbh, doesn't really matter because if you are going to do a puzzle, you should at the very least do a puzzle that doesn't suck cock.
There was that fail-safe password in Fallout 3 when you're trapped in Tranquility Lane, inside that abandoned house. I actually really liked that one.
I remember that, I can't remember the solution but I remember it being a suprisingly pretty decent puzzle
Wasn't it just hitting use on things until you got the right order though
Wasn't it just hitting use on things until you got the right order though
You also got a hint of what order it should be by listen to that girl's whistling tune.
That's exactly what I do, just with a stealthboy. How do you outrun the Deathclaws? Because they always eat me alive, and typically can detect me even with the stealthboy.
I decided to make a video to show it off really quickly. Then I decided to speed up the slower parts. Then I decided to add annotations to explain shit. Then I spent 2 hours recording and editing it together. It'll be done rendering in a few minutes. [sp]It's 1:30, WTF am I doing?[/sp] [editline]13th January 2017[/editline] Fuck me. I forgot to untick "Render only looped selection" and it only rendered the second half of the video. [editline]13th January 2017[/editline] Here. The video no one asked for that I foolishly thought would be easier and faster than trying to explain it in words.
You also got a hint of what order it should be by listen to that girl's whistling tune.
it was also the tune that played over the whole sequence it was also also the baby music during the childhood sequence at the beginning, only slowed down
So I've been playing New Vegas again, gonna actually beat the game this time I've been roleplaying a character that is pretty much entirely influenced by Ska to coincide with me really getting in to it lately [t]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/54123195/newvegas.png[/t] I think I'm doing a good job so far but I need Benny's suit :v: Come to think of it I think Deacon would be a major ska fan

Can't get over how Hangman's Alley is such a weird place to put a settlement in. Don't have Wasteland Workshop (yet) so Food is going to be an issue if I can't find any suitable planting spots.
http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/21249/? [t]https://staticdelivery.nexusmods.com/mods/1151/images/21249-5-1484267591.jpg[/t]
I need to start playing and streaming again
Don't settlements share food and water too? Iirc it's not very well documented and the displays are bugged (mainly happiness), but it's there. Just amp up the farming in another settlement to cover up for Hangman's Alley.
I think that's only if you have supply lines running between them.
I built a 3-story building in the center of hangman's alley and it became hell as soon as settlers moved in. There's barely any room so all my traders are crammed into the first floor and want to stand in/on/around the ONE staircase leading to all of my crafting/storage. Drinking Buddy is the worst culprit because he gets caught on the staircase and absolutely refuses to move, so walking up or down requires a good 3 minutes of jumping around to try and get past him.
Is there a mod that limits fast travel so you can only travel between settlements with supply lines? I've been restricting myself that way but it'd be nice if it was in the game.

So would any of you modder fellows be able to help me? I'm trying to combine two hair meshes together in nifskope, and i got everything copied over with the "copy/paste branch" system, but when i go in-game with the new file only one of the two meshes actually shows up. So what did i forget to do/do wrong? There's not really a particularly in-depth guide for how to do this that explains what to do when things don't work as planned, so i'd appreciate it if anyone could help.
a father that love his son so much that he will search for him even after his body has decayed and only his bone remains SHAUUN
I'm gonna replace the death noises with the sound Bones makes when he dies in Quake 3

Make those bones stronger. [editline]edit[/editline] I mean how can you have an immersive skeleton playthrough without that it? Bones gotta have milk.
but it's black. where's the blue
Come on over. Take a seat. Would you like some coffee? Listen, I don't know how to tell you this, but... you may be colorblind.
