i refuse to believe that someone wrote hundreds of thousands of pages of just generic trite. It has to have some artistic merit. There's literally only so many cliches in the world, there has to be at least one original idea in there. [editline]18th December 2016[/editline] nevermind it sounds like fucking trash
Fallout: Equestria (FoE), by KKat, follows the adventures of LittlePip, a young unicorn living approximately two hundred years after the time of Friendship is Magic. In a direct parallel to Fallout 3, whose plot FoE largely mirrors, Pip has spent her entire life in one of many underground shelters built to safeguard ponies against the magical equivalent of a nuclear war. After breaking out in search of Velvet Remedy, her crush, Pip wanders what’s left of Equestria, builds a collection of allies, and ultimately takes on several villains threatening the world at large. As a sprawling adventure story, FoE has a broad and diverse setting. Littered with arcane technology, mutant creatures and tragic reminders of the world that once was, it's ripe for EU and AU content. Many Fallout concepts are neatly co-opted; the Big Bad combines the Affably Evil traits of President Eden and Lord Ashur, while the Master expy brushes off her mutants’ breeding problem with a cool “we’re working on it.” Ghouls, dual-wielding pegasus cowboys and forgotten superweapons add to the fun. Unfortunately, FoE is let down by poor presentation and questionable storytelling decisions. It takes twenty chapters for Pip to gain a long-term objective and the ending is a rushed mess. Despite the oft-lauded importance of virtue and hope Pip’s first response to anything she dislikes is to kill it, and both the characters and narrative bend over backwards to justify her actions. Chief in this is Homage, Pip’s girlfriend, who alternates between shilling for our protagonist, making sex jokes and fountaining exposition. The story takes itself very seriously, even when the situation is fundamentally absurd, and would benefit from lightening up a bit. Spelling and grammar errors abound, even in the five-volume hardback copies that fans are producing at great expense. In summary, Fallout: Equestria is a bold attempt to merge two diametrically opposed worlds. On some levels it works, while on many others it falls flat. Those intrigued by the concept can’t go wrong by giving it a try, and may also find enjoyment in the expanded universe. With that said, I feel that the fawning praise lavished upon FoE by its most devoted fans is both excessive and unwarranted. As is their reactionary rejection of criticism.

Has Bethesda stated if they are done with FO4 dlc or not?
They're done.
I just thought of something, someone should try to do a playthrough with the player scale set to 0.5 and every other NPC scale set to 2 or something. Now that'd be a horror game.
i did something in NV like that, set my playerscale to like 1.2 and ran around in a big suit of PA, basically a prelude to FO4 where PA makes u like so much taller [editline]18th December 2016[/editline]
jesus christ: [t]http://vignette3.wikia.nocookie.net/falloutequestria/images/3/3e/Foe_book_firstprint.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20140419110004[/t]
lol u think that's bad? fallout equestria has like dozens of side stories.
Has Bethesda stated if they are done with FO4 dlc or not?
They said back at E3 that Nuka World was the last.
Also, there is this weird Fallout: Equestria community that I keep seeing everywhere I go. One of the most popular Dwarf Fortress mods if a Fallout: Equestria one and they are -everywhere- on Second Life.
Aside from Fallout games, Second Life is the least surprising place I can think of where Fallout-ponies would be.
actually the longest single story in the world is this thing
Is it seriously that big? Is it even any good?
It's tolerable. But the most popular side-story to it (Project Horizons) is just an utter trash, which is popular because it's edgy as fuck (like one rape per chapter edgy) and even longer than that.
Is it seriously that big? Is it even any good?
As a former brony who decided to read roughly half of that: It's shit It's so bad there's even a rumor circulating that the author has never touched a Fallout game.

She even given a list of perks that she used in it. But it's obvious that she hadn't played first two. Don't remember about New vegas.
Guess what guys? http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/20687/? Edit: Some kinks to fix but it should work right now!

This is after 10,000+ Chapters a day. The thing is fucking autistic.
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa hype! were it not for the fact that it's the Nexus who have arbitrary porting rules, i'm surprised there's no major Metro-style weapon mods or so forth
The porting rules aren't arbitrary
just don't upload it to the nexus, it's that simple.

Someone finally made the Combat zone useful. http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/20717/?
Someone finally made the Combat zone useful. http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/20717/?
this isn't the thunderdome overhaul i was hoping for, 0/10 will not install.
maybe they could use this and make a pump shotgun :o
I will never get over the fact that a 1950 Post apocalyptic wasteland America game developed by a world renowned AAA company did NOT feature a simple shotgun.
I will never get over the fact that a 1950 Post apocalyptic wasteland America game developed by a world renowned AAA company did NOT feature a simple shotgun.
It's what happens when you have a game engine that's pretty much built out of tape at this point. And not Asxas brand Blue Tape mind you.

So I'm going to reinstall fallout 4 and start a new playthrough. Can I get some must have mods?
Does anyone know how Buzzard's Bay is coming along? I liked Ipswich, but I really hoped he learned from the hidey hole bullshit that was the last few quests

Apparently the author of W.E.T. took it down, and same with Don't Call Me Settler. Is it just me or does Fallout 4 seem to have a lot more mod authors taking down their mods for whatever reason? I don't remember mods getting taken down in such numbers in any other Bethesda game.
