Isn't it also a fallacy that there is bad blood between Bethesda and Obsidian over them not getting the bonus from NV's metacritic score? I thought I remember reading that people at Obsidian said that they're more than willing to work on another Fallout game if Beth approached them about it.
If it was a new Fallout game, Obsidian wouldn't be teasing it, Bethesda would.
If it's a Fallout spinoff I hope it has the mechanics and gameplay of 4 with a story as good as NV
I'd be honestly be OK with paying $20-30 for a VR DLC, but I wouldn't want a re-release that asks for another $60 or someshit
I have no idea why would you officially call a project "Project Louisiana" if it has nothing do with Louisiana. (unless they include dimensional travel into their fantasy titles) But then again, it can't be Fallout because that would be too good to be true.
Obsidian's prototype names have always come from a preset catagory of things originally it would be presidents but now they've switched it to the names of states, JSawyer said something like that on his tumblr a while back i think
I'VE JUST DISCOVERED THAT SOME SCUMBAG ROMANIAN SITE CALLED ZAGRUZKA-MODS HAS STOLEN THIS MOD FROM NEXUS AND HOSTED IT ON THEIR SITE WITHOUT PERMISSION.
Who is it this time?
Better Cooking station author
Who is it this time?
The guy who made that cooking station mod. People should learn that there's really nothing that can be done to stop these people, and ultimately it matters exactly not at all.
Well at least he told us where we can download it in the mean time.

If you aren't a mod maker, this might not make sense to you, but: Map Markers are restricted into the WorldSpace that you put them in in the Creation Kit. You cannot transfer them, using MoveTo() on the ObjRef or otherwise AFAIK, to another WorldSpace and still have them function like they should (be a map marker you can fast travel to on a different WorldSpace, or even just show up on the map at all). As far as I can tell, this problem has existed since Oblivion, and hasn't been really "fixed" probably because BGS never had to move map markers between WorldSpaces before. It seems like an odd scenario, I know, to have to move a map marker from one WorldSpace to another, but when you are trying to make a portable home mod work with Far Harbor, Nuka World, and any other mod that adds a separate WorldSpace to the game, you suddenly are restricted to where you can put what is supposed to be a fully portable home. I'll probably have to have an item on the player that fast travels them to their home by using said item, rather than the normal way of fast travel. And then have a quest that keeps track of where the player home is. :pudge:
melee was easily one of the biggest disappointments for me with FO4. in NV, my favourite character was my melee character (who carried a shotgun just in case). he would go toe-to-toe with deathclaws, and even though he'd get mauled to near death, he would come out on top. sure, the melee was an intense game of whack-a-mole but it worked, you felt like a fucking badass because you beat a deathclaw on home turf. you can't do the same in FO4, because the deathclaws will just stunlock you then rip your head off. like others have mentioned, i cannot fathom how they went from skyrim's janky but functional melee system to .. this. if i attack with a baseball bat and the guy blocks with say, a pool cue, i can sorta get that? but it doesn't even stagger him, he just beats my shit in retaliation. and blocking is just .. the worst. why is it a parry??? can nobody in this game grasp the idea of holding your weapon infront of you for longer than 2 seconds??? i may be misremembering this but i do recall playing a game where a block is stronger when you do it just as the enemy is attacking. would it have been so hard to do that? but for me, the absolute, downright pants-on-head fucking retarded part is how a super sledge doesn't immediately smash apart a raider's arms if he tries to block with his rusty pipe. in skyrim, if some idiot thought he was safe behind his shield from an incoming warhammer he had a nasty surprise coming. in FO4, he's safe. hell, he's more than safe, he's got the fucking advantage, because if a rogue fly so much as farts in your direction while you're attacking WHOOPS attack cancelled i mean, you can make melee work but only if you use a Very Fast weapon such as a knife, so you stab the enemy to death before they have a chance to block. but i don't want to use a knife, i want to use the badass rocket-powered sledge hammer, but because any enemy with a pair of arms can shit all over your attempts to use it there's pretty much no point in using it. sorry for the rant but jesus, i can forgive Fallout 4 for a lot, but melee is where i draw the line.
The Elder Scrolls thread thinks the exact opposite of this :v:
Any weapon mods out there that are similar in quality as these two?
Anyone know how the sequel to journey to Ipswich is coming along? http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/16933/?
One way or another they totally picked the name Project Louisiana because they knew people want Fallout New Orleans and they totally want that speculation to run wild putting in a symbol from PoE just adds to the speculation pile
Putting in a symbol from PoE kills my interest. No use in going "it might be Fallout" when it's not looking like it's gonna be Fallout. Speaking of Fallout, can someone give me a quick list of shit to download to make FO4 run bearably? I'm at the point where I have to type tgm in console any time there's a fight in an urban area because otherwise my ass is going to get blasted at 10 FPS. I really want to play the game but jfc I can't deal with this shit I've got Shadowboost and a clutter remover already
Oh dear
The logic behind his actions are so fucking stupid it's honestly impressive, like you decide to take down your mods because someone's "illegally" (Lol no) hosted them elsewhere, forcing anyone who wants your mods and doesn't give a shit about the person who uploaded them, to go to the site you don't want them to go to until they stop hosting the mod(s) in question, which then gives the guy less of a reason to take down the mod(s). I mean really, that's some next level shit there, I didn't know anyone could be that much of a moron.
God damn that Obsidian announcement really threw me onto a roller coaster of emotions. For the brief few moments, before I discovered it was related to PoE, I was more hype than I've been in years for a video game, and that's just at the mere mention of an obsidian fallout.
The way these nexus modders react when their mods get uploaded on some website dedicated to modding without all the community and popularity that the nexus has is baffling. The people who go there don't give a fuck about who made the mod whether they get it from nexus or otherwise. My mods are pretty simple, but I do put a lot of effort into them. They get "stolen" all the time, and frankly I might be more insulted when they deem one of my mods worth re-uploading, but not one of my other mods :v:. This is just my [del]rant[/del]opinion, but I feel like these mod makers get upset because the attention that they might have gotten is going somewhere else, instead of feeding their "cult of personality" they got going for themselves in the nexus community (People like elienora the interior decorator+barista?). It's fair for mod creators to get motivated and feed off of the attention, but I don't thinking attention should be the driving force like it is now. Most of the mods/user-created content I made was for myself, something I would use. Whenever that wasn't the case it always turned out uninspired. Honestly I'm glad these websites exist. A lot of mods that I love are simply impossible to get now, because the host disappeared or the mod creator pulled some juvenile shit like this and took it down, with no backup anywhere online.
I made a skeleton character once in Skyrim, and now a fellow on the Nexus made a proper skeleton "race" mod so I finally stopped putting off a new playthrough. Thus begins anew the adventures of Skelezar Boneaparte. [t]http://i.imgur.com/WmSuI77.jpg[/t] I'm making Sanctuary my home base; So far I've only finished my own home below. Going to make the rest of the place into one big spooktown filled with graves and skeleton settlers. Don't know what to call the place though. [t]http://i.imgur.com/hzxatnm.jpg[/t]

I swear that Project Louisiana popped up before. That is definitely not the first time I've heard of it, maybe from people picking through trademarks ages ago.

I wouldn't be surprised if this is the same thing that people got hyped about before.
