I figured it out. Thanks a bunch for the help!
Did you load the Fallout 4 esm file?
Did you load the Fallout 4 esm file?
Yeah, I didn't do that before. Im looking at it now and it says its weight is only "8" when in game the base rifle weighs like 20lbs, so Im going to have to figure out if theres conversions I have to do or what. Im wondering if I could also set it to use the Handmade Rifle reload animations as well instead of the SMG animations, but thats probably beyond the scope of my abilities.

probably because it didn't have anything to do with shooting raiders, which is what this game is mainly about

It might be 20 in-game because of the mods applied onto the gun itself also add weight to the weapon.

I thought that but I opened up the game and the current weight of my modded gun was 24 but with all standard mods it was still only about 19 or 20

Maybe the standard mods also add weight themselves?
Not a single day passes that I don't regret romancing Piper instead of Cait
Piper is insufferably annoying.

That video is godly satisfying.

While I agree with you, if you think about it you'll look a little bit more pristine than most denizens of the Commonwealth seeing as you've been in cryo sleep. I think it's mentioned a couple of times (such as on the Prydwen .

I dont know how to affect mod weights or anything so I changed the weight value down to 5 and now with standard mods, the gun weights a little over 8 pounds, which is about right for an FAL. For whatever reason, the guy that made that mod thought that a skeletonized stock should weigh MORE than a full wooden stock, while having a big heavy MagLite hanging off the side adds no weighs nothing, so my personal gun still weighs 10lbs~, but I actually have both the Maglight and the para stock so it balances out I guess. I'd still like to try to make it use the handmade rifle animations, but I dont even know where to start with that.

I read this as "It might be 20 in-game mods applied onto the gun itself also add to the weight of the weapon" :v:

Let's not open that particular can of worms, shall we?
At a certain point in the game I just told myself "Look, just roll with it, ok?" and carried on
TBQH the hot topic around town in Fallout 4 is that there are body snatching robot people, so suspension of disbelief is probably a little less limited. That and the Pip-Boy probably helps.

From memory: the only one I remember who trusts you right from the get-go about being a Pre-War survivor is Preston, but I guess that's because my character wasn't really open with their past at first.
Hey there was someone a while back who posted about a mod they're using to "recruit" non hostiles to be non essential companions. Does anyone know what mod that is?
I'm currently trying out this one
http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/19999/?
But it doesn't seem to be working correctly for me. A companion went down so I tried to stimpack him but it didn't work so I tried finishing him off (wanted my loot) and that didn't work so I tried console killing him and that didn't work either. So I dunno.
Sorry for the repost

Because almost nothing worked the way it was supposed to work.
It's also clearly unfinished. The crowd sounds like they're very far away rather than all around you, his voice isn't coming from speakers, and it's apparently very easy to break.

These people live next to zombie-looking dudes who have survived literal centuries and have to deal with robot-men who are virtually impossible to discern from real human beans. A man who was frozen for this much time isn't much of a stretch considering.

I believe weapon mods add weight based on a percentage of the base weapon's weight.
Like a scope that adds 1 lb does so because it adds 1/10th of the weapon's base weight of 10 lbs.

Which could've been fixed and it would've made for a better use of the Combat Zone than just a simple introduction and then have it become completely worthless afterwards, honestly after my first time playing the game, I never came back to it once I got Cait, since I went back later in my first playthrough and found out nothing fucking changes.

I'm sure somewhere here there's a reason to lynch and loot you.

Well yes. He asked why it was removed, it was removed because it didn't work and was unfinished. Of course they could have spent more time to get it working but clearly they didn't.

I love sneaking up to sleeping Deathclaws. If only I could Sandman kill them. Then I'd be able to actually Sandman kill something.

What about Piper? For an investigative journalist tackling the hard questions she doesn't seem to do any fact-checking.

Yeah, I could've waited another month if it meant that the Combat Zone didn't end up as boring raider den #157
Hell, I'm fucking pissed they didn't even bother messing with it through the Nuka World DLC.
[editline]a[/editline]
Tbh I would've waited a full extra year (or more) if it meant we actually had a game with quests I care about that would run at a constant 60 FPS.
As nice as it is to finally have a new Fallout game, I'd prefer actually being able to/wanting to play the game over having it released early.

IIRC in the few times you bring up the fact you can always back away and lie instead, because they're always like "wow wait what ?".
But again, since they live in a world with rad-blasted dudes who have lived for just as much time, seeing them believe you isn't much of a stretch. I doubt most people would even give much of shit past the funny anecdote because they're busy with not getting killed and avoiding starvation.
Like in New Vegas if you could bring up the fact you got shot in the head and lived to tell the tale (I don't think you ever can, other than the ones who were there to see it ?) I'd also expect people to just accept it and move on.

Unfortunately, it's less about customers getting impatient, and more about publishers and investors wanting to see their money come in.

You can to Yes Man and an Omerta thug which i forgot the name
But its slightly easier to prove you got shot in the head than proving you were in cryosleep for 200 years

Pretty much
I can imagine the bethesda team going "man cant wait to show our game progress in E3 when we finally release it it will be so dope" and then the announcement being "Fallout 4.... coming in a few months" and everyone going "wait whaaaaaaat"
After reinstalling my OS and shit, when I try to play Fallout 4 through the F4SE it won't load. I can see Fallout4.exe in the task manager but other than that nothing happens, halp?

Sorry of the late reply, but have you tried deleting your previous saves? Because Steam automatically downloads your cloud-saved save games (What a tongue twister..)
Try disabling cloud-saving first, delete saves (And if you wanna go the extra mile, the graphical configuration files) and "verify cache integrity"
Sorry, you need to Log In to post a reply to this thread.
