Vault 666 had 99 Preston Garveys and only one Sole Survivor Apocalypse insued
Funnily enough my vault is named Vault 666.
I assumed it was because of the layered armor system, was too difficult for them to design around that.
I can actually think of two or three ways to have it work without too many issues. One of them is putting a bone on the back of the chest piece and one on the leg (even if there's no actual armor there) where you can attach the gun. If that's how you do it, then it'll be at the right place for a majority of the armors.

Same for weight slider. Wish I knew how to code, would do something like that with f4se and a small skeleton mod. Not entirely sure how the whole attachment system works though (guns in hands and all)
I'm actually surprised there aren't a whole lot of mods that even require F4SE.
I'm actually surprised there aren't a whole lot of mods that even require F4SE.
F4SE is supposedly still pretty barebones
I'm actually surprised there aren't a whole lot of mods that even require F4SE.
F4SE doesn't really have much functionality still currently and they're not pushing development for it currently as SKSE64 has their priority. Honestly, give it a year again. :v:

The one work around I can think of is just making PA be excluded from having holstered weapons, since it's likely you're out using the PA to tank some damage with your weapon ready for anything.
Is there a file setting or mod that makes items in the Shop + Crafting UI correspondent to your HUD colors instead of being always default green? [editline]January 24th, 2016[/editline] Oh, and another thing: having trouble deciding whether my doctor character should thematically use either Small Guns (specifically shotguns) or Energy Weapons like Doc Mitchell, Arcade Gannon, and Dr. Henry. Poll time: Artistic for shotguns, Zing for Energy Weapons.
My newest goal in FO4 is to accrue a shit ton of Deathclaw head mounts. [t]http://i.imgur.com/Ukq1h2m.jpg[/t] And on this journey- I have yet more walls to cover- I created 'Mr. StealYourGirl' [t]http://i.imgur.com/DQkTzQv.jpg[/t]
I genuinely want to know what kind of thought process goes through a mind to turn radscorpions into lawnmowers: The same guy has a wide variety of weird shit, including (but not limited to) filling the Institute with bags of meat, turning the BoS into a baseball team, and changing craft-able turrets into cats: http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/users/19099074/?tb=mods&pUp=1
Mr. Railroad Agent here found out what it's like to be a weapons tester for Tinker Tom, the hard way. An unstable prototype Railway Rifle is something you don't want to be holding. As for the large size, I find it more worthwhile to just downsample from 4K because FXAA doesn't do a good enough job and TAA looks blurry as hell. I get drops into the 30s and 40s during heavy action and fog, but that's typical of the game anyway.

So what kinds of mods does everyone wish there were more of? More guns? More armors? More power armors? Quest mods? Player homes? New lands? Mods that made it less like Fallout? Mods that made the game more like Fallout? If you follow the daily releases and what's covered on youtube, it seems like all the popular mods are guns and new clothing. Is that enough, to have a new gun and outfit every once in a while to take a spin around the same old wasteland playground? Now obviously, I know it's a lot more of a time sink to put together even a modest quest mod with new locations over those others, so there are a lot fewer of them, but by the same token, I don't really ever see people discussing the ones that do exist or clamoring for more of them. So what kind of mods is it people really want?
More energy weapons is all I really want or sci fi weaponry and armor.
even bigger titties
bigger butts too [editline]25th January 2017[/editline] but no really i want more lore-friendly weapons & armor, better quest mods, and somehow I want raider & automatron endings.

Basically Vegas did just about everything right other than actual gun-play, and Fallout 4's best achievement is probably the gun-play while other things were watered down. Throw 'em in a blender and call it a day.

I dunno if it's because it's particularly difficult to make them or if modellers just aren't interested though. I'm still holding out hope for classic style combat armour at any rate.
The concept art book had some really neat stuff too, like the planned parts for the pipe weapons (which like 10% of actually made it into the game), armor types and weapons, would be cool to see all that put in the game. Also an actual goddamn gunpowder musket with upgrades would be hilarious and somewhat fitting for Boston.
All I want is a well made FAL with custom animations.
I don't mind seeing more weapons but I would really prefer if people didn't make real guns with all these tacticool mods. I understand that the early Fallout games had real guns thrown in but a part of me wishes that we got more original guns that fit into the Fallout world. Like instead of giving us an actual SPAS-12, give us a shotgun that's based off of one but with wooden parts and a very slightly altered design.
