As it's been said before, the guys on the FO modding discord really liked your take on it. You should come join us here: https://discord.gg/sxRpUUm if you want some more instant feedback and all that.
I have to ask do you plan on adding mods to it?
Yeah I plan on adding quite a few mods. Including different claws, barrel lengths, muzzles and different frames such as the original from NV and the smitty special, perhaps even a torn down junk version or something
Y'know, I think the NCR sending a hitsquad to threaten me had the opposite effect of what they wanted. Instead of making me go "oh jeez I'm sorry ncr" I was more like "lmao bring it"
If they wanted to threaten me they should've sent me a picture of a deathclaw in the mail.
[Editline]a [/editline]
Or a cazador
Just anything more threatening than a couple of humans with guns.
What do you guys think of this? http://fraghero.com/rumor-fallout-new-vegas-2-details-leaked-reveal-planned/
Yeah, when that article first went up it was using the teaser images for Pillars of Eternity 2 as an image/proof that they were doing Fallout New Orleans.
No real news there to be had, just wistful thinking.
I mean, you'd think when people at Obsidian are outright mentioning "Oh, it's New Vegas sequel-hoax day." you'd think that maybe they have nothing to do with it at all.

Don't mind me, just learning how to generate LOD using the CK. For my house mod.
By the way, do you guys like frogs and fractions?
whoops forgot the picture
Excuse me but you misspelled The Legion.
excuse me i think you both misspelled the foreign invaders.
independant strip ftw!
independant strip ftw!
Stop stripping on House property, someone better teach you that the House, always wins.
Don't mind me, just putting a Lenin face on the Moon while colouring it pink.
Commie Ghost faction, only canon ending.
I always found it difficult to side with anyone except the Legion each time I played FNV. The reward quest you get with the boxes not only literally printed free money, but also shat out ammo and stealth boys by the ton. Plus the NCR are more fun and profitable to kill because rare guns like Anti-Materiel Rifles would spawn.
Repair their broken Power Armor using sunglasses and metal armor, then fix their super sledges with a pool cue, then repair their miniguns with toothpicks and duct tape, and finally repair their 50. cal rifles with a BB gun. :v:

I wish they'd work on somehow fixing the whole "Sudden drop in FPS because of shadows and weird layered textures in the city" thing, because the game is still unoptimized trash in places and that's pretty much the only consistent problem I have in regards to FPS, plenty of other people are having it too and yet it's like they are ignoring it.

Wow, literally nothing of value was added it seems

They keep putting that generic line in the changelogs and it doesn't seem to have ever changed or fixed any issues for me
I always thought Fallout had great enemy variety in both NV and 3, at least visually
I think the main problem is that many of the enemies behave the same way so they all operate like reskins. Fallout 4 was definitely a step in the right direction tho in terms of making enemies a little more active.
Sorta on the subject I'm getting ready for a new playthrough, are there any important performance mods? I get 40/50+ fps everywhere but would be nice to know if there's anything you can do to squeeze a few extra frames

Do what I did and exploit the NCR Dog Tags always respawning and get Idolized by everyone.

Then you get all of the benefits, with none of the the downsides! :v:
Has anyone ever sided with the powder-gangers?
Has anyone ever sided with the powder-gangers?
I was going to one playthrough but I accidentally tossed a grenade into a group of them and pissed them off, so I just went with it and blew up the rest of them.
I'll be honest, I'd be tempted to take advantage the NCR tags exploit just to get the Legion assassins off my fucking ass
Every time a legion hit squad attacks me, a little voice in my head yells "jackpot" because after leveling up enough, assassins use weapons I can sell a fortune.

I do love it when my loot finds me.
I still love how they did that one quest chain you get from the NCR guys at the bitter springs camp.
If you ask them if they need any assistance, they spend a fairly long time listing off like 6 quests they want done.
then the pipboy flags up with the quest name: " No, Not Much"

Yeah, you just get a couple of quests. P fun honestly, I always liked seeing the same content from a different perspective.

NV had the best quest names
(NSFW) she has the face of a serial killer.. a serial killer with back pain
Huh, new way to get to [sp] Institute [/sp] without going through most of the main quest.

Don't know whether to keep the spoiler or not.
I wish Beth would actually put thought into the environments they make.
Why the fuck are lived-in buildings still filled with debris???? How are we three games in on Gamebryo and still they haven't figured that one out?
They get environments right and wrong.
For example, each area is carefully crafted to tell a story either on its own or with the aid of local terminals and holotapes.
However at the same time, the world would be green and overgrown. Not barren and depressing. It'd actually be quite beautiful. But because it's "Fallout" they take creative liberties to make sure you feel like you're in a wasteland.

mentioned before, but not only is the Commonwealth obviously a lot greener (at least in terms of plant life) than Fallout 3, but there's a lot of signs pointing to this just being how it looks in fall and it being greener the rest of the year, but we don't see that because it's a video game
also, artistic license at work; Fallout is about people rebuilding a shitty world, so the world should look sorta shitty (in a good way)

thats one of the best quest chains though because it ultimatly ends with one of the bitterest speech checks in the game

Id appreciate it if theyd make it look like the inhabitants were trying to make the best of the shitty world they live in (cleaning up skeletons, debris, putting wooden boards over holes in the floor, etc)

out of curiosity i looked it up because I must've missed it when I did the quest:
[sp]Player is talking to a Bitter Springs Great Khan who's been harassing the refugee camp.
Player: The people at this camp aren't responsible for your family's death. They're refugees.
Great Khan: I know that. But what else can I do?[/sp]
well investigating the misalocated resources leads you to investigate every ncr outpost and then you finally end up at camp vegas [sp] where you have a speech check with the former Mojave ranger there who was behind it all, he either gets mad, kills himself, gives up, or you let him go[/sp]
is it spoilers for a 10 year old game?
