Well that'll do it. Thanks! Are there any potential repercussions for using this?
What kind of repercussions would there be? There's no way for anyone to find out and why would they care? Just use it and have fun.
I fuck love these environmental shots; it's great how Cascadia actually looks like a different place and not Commonwealth 2: Electric Boogaloo
thanks!
Got back into playing Fallout 4 the other day, and despite the engine's limitations, damn if it's not beautiful at times... [t]http://i.imgur.com/2Rax4Zp.jpg[/t] [t]http://i.imgur.com/dPQr3s3.jpg[/t] Additionally, I was walking to a dead drop for one of the Railroad's quests, and suddenly hear a buzzing and the sound of flesh tearing... [t]http://i.imgur.com/GVu9a7i.jpg[/t] Curie's a friggin' psychopath, despite what the game seems to indicate.
[t]http://i.imgur.com/GVu9a7i.jpg[/t] Curie's a friggin' psychopath, despite what the game seems to indicate.
What have you done to Curie
What have you done to Curie
[sp]Amari instead had a reject of a reject Synth's body on standby in this timeline.[/sp]
IIRC Curie still uses the same combat AI as a Ms. Nanny, so she prefers melee It's kinda terrifying
IIRC Curie still uses the same combat AI as a Ms. Nanny, so she prefers melee It's kinda terrifying
Curie uses her old Ms. Nanny combat AI until you dismiss her and then re-hire her. I noticed this after doing her quest because she wouldn't stop picking up almost every shitty melee weapon in sight and using those and only those
What have you done to Curie
Hood hides hair, so I had to get a 'hair' headgear item meant for hoods to have her hair show on a hooded jacket. Additionally, it's fun to try and mess with companions to see how different you can make them look without modifying anything non-cosmetic.
Additionally, it's fun to try and mess with companions to see how different you can make them look without modifying anything non-cosmetic.
I hate to break this to you but she looks like Laci Green.
So I'm generating LOD terrain Textures for Fallout 4. The creation kit generated the files, but put them in the wrong folder. So I had to place them into the correct folder. Not really that much of a problem. THEN I found out that the creation kit generated the texture files as .tga files. If you didn't know, with the latest versions of the Creation Engine, the engine doesn't support .tga files. :goodjob: Bethesda, your fucking editor outputs not only into the wrong folder, but also the wrong format. Thus, I had to use another tool that came with the CK, called Elric, that batch converts the files into the proper DDS format. Why can't you just make the textures DDS in the first place?
I stumbled across some meshes of the classic fallout leather armor. [t]http://vignette1.wikia.nocookie.net/fallout/images/e/e1/TITLE.GIF/revision/latest?cb=20071006023628[/t][t]https://puu.sh/tMfNQ/6b82322cf2.png[/t] Totaly NO IDEA who made these. If anybody here does, please tell me. Anyways, I got it working as a shitty replacer for the normal leather and reinforced leather armor. I'll see about getting it fixed up and not buggy and broken later. It's got some fucked up clipping errors I'll tell you what [t]https://puu.sh/tMgvU/aeda4cfddc.png[/t] https://www.dropbox.com/s/c9hpas3b3h41uzl/Old%20leather%20armor.7z?dl=0 Here's a link to the files if someone wants to try and make it not total ass or just simply use it as-is
Sounds about right.
Has anyone tried to do a demake of fallout3/nv/4? I imagine for the outdoor sections a top down perspective would work somewhat
After finally upgrading my PC to be able to more or less run Fallout 4, 25 hours in I gotta say I'm a little disappointed and underwhelmed...
This might be the most accurate F4 review ever. The game isn't bad at all, but it feels like a nihilist's wet dream.
To this day, I'm convinced that whoever decides to side with the Istitute either gets off on siding with the "obviously evil faction" or does so with a [sp]paternal instinct of some sort[/sp], which the game utterly fails to paint to us, in mind
To this day, I'm convinced that whoever decides to side with the Istitute either gets off on siding with the "obviously evil faction" or does so with a [sp]paternal instinct of some sort[/sp], which the game utterly fails to paint to us, in mind
I did it the first time (and by that I mean I did like three quests for them before ending that playthrough) because it seemed like what they wanted me to do because of [sp]Shaun being the leader[/sp] and all, despite me not really caring about them. The next playthrough I [sp]shot him in the face[/sp] and it was much more satisfying.
Nothing I do will beat my first playthrough, where I never did any institute quests and just abused it as an instant fast travel. [sp]When I was doing the finale for the brotherhood and found Shaun on his deathbed, there was absolutely no lead up to it so my reaction was "Shaun was ill?"[/sp]

That firing animation looks so.. boring.
boring
How would you go about making them more fun?
How would you go about making them more fun?
recoil movement hitman's been working on how he does recoil; it was too exaggerated before but he's swung back around to having too little
Not shitty and louder firing sounds would help a lot
[sp]When I was doing the finale for the brotherhood and found Shaun on his deathbed, there was absolutely no lead up to it so my reaction was "Shaun was ill?"[/sp]
I get the impression that there was supposed to be more to the Institute but it got cut out.
considering how long F4 was in development you think they wouldn't have had to cut so many corners.
considering how long F4 was in development you think they wouldn't have had to cut so many corners.
Most of their time was probably spent on the engine upgrades.
Most of their time was probably spent on the engine upgrades.
Unlikely, It would of been the artpass.
To this day, I'm convinced that whoever decides to side with the Istitute either gets off on siding with the "obviously evil faction" or does so with a [sp]paternal instinct of some sort[/sp], which the game utterly fails to paint to us, in mind
Joining the obviously evil faction has sadly been a limited choice in all the recent fallout games, if only for the fact that it will by nature cut you off from the most content.
Unlikely, It would of been the artpass.
ok, maybe not most of their time but a lot of their time
Also keep in mind Bethesda's kind of shit at optimizing dev time because of a crippling lack of cohesive upper management. People just do what they please at their own pace and nobody's around to actually get the whole team to work roughly on the same area of the game.
To this day, I'm convinced that whoever decides to side with the Istitute either gets off on siding with the "obviously evil faction" or does so with a [sp]paternal instinct of some sort[/sp], which the game utterly fails to paint to us, in mind
It starts waaaay before that. The vast majority of F4's story is completely random and doesn't make sense altogether. It feels like a bunch of people wrote different things without checking if they made sense. Nothing any of the factions do benefits them in the long run, especially not the endings. The player's story makes no sense. The enemies breaking into the vault and killing everyone actively disrupts their own plans, their backup plans and their entire goal.
