God damn fuck, I finally get done stringing street lights in sanctuary to 3 switched connectors, every time I try to turn the lights on the fucking game crashes. :scream: Edit: Even trying to store or scrap the lights fucking crashes the game. Edit: Everything in Sanctuary, if I scrap or try to store it fucking crashes the game. The fuck. Edit: WELL, fucking time to start again eh.
Saw this one getting praised on /fog/ earlier today: http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/18946/?
That's the one I use. There's some places where they missed dialogue related to being a vault dweller, and some of the starts are pretty difficult to get out of, but all around it a lot better if you wanna rp someone who wasn't living before the war.
That's nice. Literally all the food that I have it bugged and not giving me any health
That's nice. Literally all the food that I have it bugged and not giving me any health
Are you playing on survival? If so that's a known issue. If you back out of the Pipboy and go back in that should fix it. It's a problem where once you remove your hunger the game doesn't properly update to allow them to apply healing. If you're not on survival then IDFK.
What's that mod that makes the pipboy radio sound really low quality and tinny? I've been looking for it a while but I can't seem to find it
http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/18541/? ?
http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/18541/? ?
Yes perfect. Thank you

I guess I'm SOL on this playthrough unless i can find a fix for it
Video feature! :D
Al has always been my favorite Mod reviewer.
I feel like vault 88's just way to big.
Restarted the game and it's still there. I guess I'm SOL on this playthrough unless i can find a fix for it
IIRC food and water don't have healing effects unless your hunger and thirst is quenched, maybe that's it?
Pretty cool concept
So to the people who turn their games into STALKER clones via mods: is it doable yet? Been holding out on returning to Fallout 4 until I could download all the hardcore/realistic damage mods and make as depressing a survival experience as I can. Bonus points if there's a mod that fleshes out the intimidation system. God damn do I want to play FROST with the ability to really conserve my ammunition by not getting into firefights at all, when I can help it.
Al has always been my favorite Mod reviewer.
He always finds the rough edges though, doesn't he? Of course, Fallout 4 and it's glitchy systems doesn't help either. The really deliberate way he pronounces asXas' name always amuses me, though I have no idea how you'd actually say it. I keep forgetting FO4 has that lean over cover thing.
I got Fallout: New Vegas as a gift and its only a while until it's done downloading any tips
If you keep giving Benny a chance, eventually he'll come through for you at a crucial moment. He's a nice guy really.
I'm going to call this a feature for now. (aka, no idea how to fix it) v:v:v
That's actually a vanilla thing. [editline]edit[/editline] Darn it.
I got Fallout: New Vegas as a gift and its only a while until it's done downloading any tips
Go 100% vanilla. By which I mean download these things to fix the game: NVAC - New Vegas Anti-Crash, it's designed to make New Vegas not crash (as much). CASM - Cipscis' Automatic Save Manager, it replaces the save system because the default save system is terrible and WILL lose your save. YUP - Yukichigai's Unofficial Patch, it just fixes bugs and doesn't fuck around adding, removing, or changing shit. Also, the Nexus appears to be down right now, I can't connect to it. I took the urls from google. As for gameplay tips. Luck is actually useful on New Vegas, though you may not want to specialise in it on a first playthrough. Intelligence is overpowered, but then again it is in most RPGs (and arguably real life). There is a level cap so don't spread your skill points too thin. Go in as blind as you can, there are a lot of spoilers out on the internet so be careful.
New Vegas 8GB patch might also be useful. It lets the game use more memory and that helps prevent crashes due to running out of memory. People usually use it when they run a shit ton of mods at once but I don't think installing with no mods could hurt.
yeah the ram patcher thing is tits http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/62552/?

Hey AsXas, more showcases are doing your gun Given any thought to your next one yet?
As I've said before I'm going on a short modding break after I've updated this one "done".
thankfully i am not affected by the w10 anniversary crash ive heard but ill keep these mods in consideration if anything goes wrong
I believe they must have fixed it since then, I don't seem to be effected by it now.
